    Thanks for this video! I've had to reference it so many times when flashing to my SKR pro

    I found that "sudo apt apdate" didnt actually update anything it just checked what updates were available, I had to use "sudo apt-get upgrade" to get the updates to install.

    Your printer's firmware reported an error. Due to that OctoPrint will disconnect. Reported error: Option 'microsteps' in section 'stepper_x' must be specified . I try in tmc section in stepper and dont work...

    I had to install octoklipper plug in to get started on web UI. Still not able to connect to the board despite address pinging.

      Does it appear on you router as a connected device?

      @pj8979 3 года назад

      @@EdwardBraiman I think it is because I have nothing hooked up to the skr board. I will try to plug in some stuff and try again. I have octopi running and visible on the router, I did struggle to find out how can I have Klipper showing on octopi but now sorted. When I initially plug in it shows the version for the board firmware then spits some MCU error. Thanks

      If the file extension doesn't change to CUR, it mean build has issues.

    How does the skr pro compare to the skr3 board?

    • @EdwardBraiman
      @EdwardBraiman  Год назад

      SKR pro has more steppers.

    • @EdwardBraiman
      @EdwardBraiman  Год назад

      @@Extrabitz I'd need to compare datasheets. Processors and printout will be slightly different. The true question is what are your needs.

    • @EdwardBraiman
      @EdwardBraiman  3 года назад +2

      Means firmware didn't load or connection is not connected.
      Check cable and redo firmware make.

      One of two issues.
      Firmware not installed or not correct path to serial port.
