Wow... what a coincidence. I am literally messing with the 1.2 right now and found your channel, and then noticed you just uploaded a video. Trying to install it on a ender 5 plus.

Same here same board and same printer, not having any luck in configuring marlin!!! And I don't have an environment list in Platformio.ini like you get tried several versions of marlin for the github, totally lost now!
Which version of Marlin? They just changed the way it works yesterday.
Very nice, I brought my 1.2 to live with your 1.1 tutorials. Any chances you'll try klipper? For me Marlin was the fallback since I could not get my bl touch up and running.
BLtouch will be a tutorial. I've not made it yet. Klipper I'm still researching.

My platformio file doesn't came with that enormous quantity of lines... It ends up around the line number 266. How did you get this complete file?
The Marlin firmware was updated from 2.0.7.2 to 2.0.8 almost two weeks ago. Look for blue thumbnail video in playlist call Marlin supplimental and it will explain changes.

@@EdwardBraiman thanks so much! That solved my problem. In addition, I've realized that it's not really needed to change the platformio.ini if you change the environment at the bottom of VS code.
Lol I see that warning in the description. So your saying for a first time 3D printer owner and 0 experience with electronic boards I should stick with a silent stepper creakily board? 😂

I did this and all it does is a blank screen. I think I got a dead board. :(
It's a basic video. Screen should be blank if you followed video.
In description there's a link to playlist and one should be for the type of screen you're using.
If not theirs a link to Discord and you can ask in General chat. More than likely there's a video on playlist.

I just received my SKR Pro V1.2 followed the exact instructions on this video and I can not for the life of me get it to work. I uploaded a test from their github and it worked any thoughts?

Hi. Please tell me, is it possible to connect Neopixel to this board? This board works for me with Btt TFT35 v2.0. Before that, I used the SKR 1.4 turbo board and there were no problems connecting Neopixel. Thank you.
Been working on developing a tutorial, but still no success. I'll update with a tutorial when that changes.
Why dont you use the Marlin Auto Build? and then use the UPLOAD button there?
Marlin auto build is not complete last time I checked and upload on SKR Pro is not a workable option.
@@EdwardBraiman My SKR Pro arrived yesterday and I've been using the auto-build without issue.
I'm curious, what can be connected to those SPI UART and i2c connectors on the lower right?
Lights, LCD, WiFi, stepper controllers, etc as long as there is an existing device.
@@EdwardBraiman cool thanks for the answer. Do you know if there are some existing devices already compatible? Maybe an RGB light controller? Or can you put a servo maybe?
Not sure on RGB, but servo will work.

I'm having a fucking aneurysm trying to understand any of this. At about 9:45 you search for the SKR_PRO and when I do that literally nothing comes up. I feel like I've destroyed my 3d printer by getting this stupid board
