Another amazing review! I love to see how much your channel has grown! I have to agree with your review. When celebs slap their names on something the price goes up at least 20%. No reason why the meat wasn't better quality. And a drink was 22 dollars? We expect more from you Gordon.

Hey UA! Great video! I really appreciate you getting a second burger to review for us!!!! I love you and your videos man. Super happy i found your channel
Recently found your channel. Honestly completely lost track of time and stayed up WAY too late the other night watching your channel lol! This is quickly becoming my favorite on RUclips. Really well done!
Another great review. Loving the success you're having as it is deserved. I haven't seen you post anything on your youtube community page such as polls or updates. Do you think you'll do that in the future.
I like your content and the way you review the food. You give a very honest reviews and that you do it "for you the channel, you the people lol. I wrote down the names of the other burger joints you mentioned and will try them out. Keep doing what you're doing. continued success my brother.
I appreciate your reviews and your honesty! I have watched so many of your reviews and always enjoy them. And, being a 66 year NJ boy (and moved to Florida 5 years ago), I get home sick for NJ diners!
I think it's really obnoxious to charge $20-30 more to set near an open-air kitchen (and a 45 minute wait for food seems like a lot - and I waited a long time to take my daughter to Mr. Beast at the American Dream Mall). I also think it's a little over the top how Gordon has his photo everywhere - even on the menu. I understand it's his restaurant but you don't see Daniel Boulud's photo everywhere in his restaurants lol. That being said, I really enjoyed your review! Also, I appreciated how you spent a good deal of time letting us look at the menu while the waitress explained the items. I somehow find myself interested in foods I normally don't eat when you review them since you do such a good job describing them :)
Yeah, that rubs the wrong way, an upcharge to sit near the open air kitchen. It's not like you're getting an actual chefs table, that is just an open air kitchen. And if you're paying $34 for a burger and $20-30 for a drink, you should get decent chairs. I didn't like the ambiance/interior personally. Swimming in tv screens does not make for a nice dining experience and something about the place felt cheap. Huge pic of Ramsay also, the whole thing felt crass, but maybe that is Vegas style for you. I just don't want to pay that kind of money for a crass experience like that. Too bad.
I dont think he was involved that much in this restaurant.. probably just hired a team to set this up or maybe just some company pay to use his name and he just send someone like his executive or corporate chef to do it for him.. his real restaurant in london dont put up a giant phot of his face
This channel deserves so many more views. My new favorite food channel on RUclips. I love the honesty and how you really feel like you're there at the table. Most inviting eating channel ever.
Hi UA, I commented in your "Trying VEGAS' OLDEST STEAKHOUSE! Golden Steer Steakhouse Review" video stating that I was in Vegas recently and visiting the Gordon Ramsay Burger where I tried the $26 Backyard Burger and I was recommending you try this Ramsay Burger restaurant. I also was disappointed with the Backyard Burger. I felt the ingredients on the burger overpowered the flavor of the actual beef and I also orderd a medium but mine was overcooked and they gave me well done. I also was surprised the waitress told you what the most popular burger was and what she recommended because our waiter never said anything to us. My brother and I were disappointed in the burgers and thought the place is only coasting on its Gordon Ramsay brand and not so much the food. One of the best burgers I ever had surprisingly was downstairs and inside the Empire State Building. Don't remember the name of the restaurant. The ESB burger was 10000% tastier, juicier, and more flavorful than the Gordon Ramsay burger and it was half the price too.
I actually stayed at the Excalibur when it first opened. And I do remember Fudruckers. They had good burgers. As for the burgers. I wouldn’t pay that much for a burger. My belief is your paying for the hype at that place in Vegas
With the way Ramsey talks about the meat blend in his burger, it's surprising that it would only get an above average rating. For 26 bucks it should knock your socks off.
Unpopular opinion: A bigger, taller burger doesn’t make the burger better- it actually DETRACTS. Bro I’m not trying to strain my jaw, and then have a burger fall apart- these types of burgers are obnoxious.
You're supposed to smash it before you eat it thats why they didnt slice the avocado or the egg you have to cut it so it runs to the middle then smash.
Agreed - I usually don't order burgers at sit down restaurants for this reason. I get that they put more toppings to reflect the higher price, but when you have to smush the burger, take a bite and half the toppings fall out and sauce goes everywhere, it's not a pleasant experience lol. And like UA said, too many ingredients end up masking each other.
I really appreciate your honest review! I've seen so many videos where creators look like they are in ecstasy, eating the burger of all burgers. It is hard to believe they all love the burgers that much. I will be skipping GR Burger when I go to Vegas at the end od the month!

Thankfully, they still have some 80 locations around the world, but the location near mine closed in 2018. 😭
Great review as always UA. I walk past the Gordon Ramsay burger in Chicago every day and it is never busy. I think the prices are a few dollars cheaper here. I've never been tempted in the slightest with all the great food we have here. You need to come to Chicago for some superior real people food at better prices.
Thanks for the review video! I am planning to visit Vegas for the Las Vegas Aces game in mid-August and am also planning to stop by this restaurant (also my first visit of any Gordon Ramsay restaurant and am also a Hell’s Kitchen/GR fan!); will definitely be trying out the Hell’s Kitchen Burger to taste it myself but will stick with the standard side of Just Fries! Will definitely be making a reservation with this restaurant when I come by for lunch! Will also be trying out other burger chains in Vegas and see how this burger compares with the others!
Congrats on your subscriber count UA !!! Good review but I think I'll stick to White Mana n White Castle, lol ! To bad you didn't try a place called Off The Strip . Its rite next to the Flamingo on the promenade. The burger was so so good and like half the price as the Ramsey rip off Just saying. Keep it going dude !!❤
What? Why would someone need to pay extra to sit near the open kitchen? So if all regular tables were full, and only kitchen ones are available, I need to pay extra $20… that’s a rip off for sure.
All these truffle flavoured items have chemical compounds similar to that of the natural truffle, however they are all engineered on a chemical level and therefore isn't anything natural like the mushroom that grows.... that's why they tend to stay mild and hidden behind much stronger and less sharp umami flavours like Parmasan
I totally agree with your review. Everything you mentioned is spot on. I've tried most of the burgers on the menu (table of 6 and we all shared a bite with each other), and the Backyard Burger was my fav, and it was just ' very good'. Over priced for sure. There are better burgers for the same price elsewhere. Keep up with the reviews!
I've eaten at Ramsey Burger in Planet Hollywood and I got the 24 hour burger. I too thought it was overrated, but I would go back to try a different burger. It was good but not worth the $33 price! As far as the wait, I'd suggest getting an app, specifically the _Street Corn Dip!_ It was amazing and very tasty! I would go back for it!
Here in the UK, most people laugh at these celebrity restaurants. They are just pretentious and who wants to pay a fortune for a burger when there are plenty of cheaper alternatives at half the price which taste just as good if not better? I feel Ramsay's restaurants are just a con but each to their own.
Gary Eats brought me here. He mentioned your channel recently. Give some love to Gary, his channel is growing fast. Thanks for the reviews, subscribed. Greetings from London 🇬🇧
my son threw up there while eating and they treated him terribly. He was 7. They called in a HAZMAT team to disinfect and acted like we did something personal to them. I was shocked when the manager came over and accelerated the rude treatment. I just wanted to settle my bill, get my boy out of there and leave a nice tip. Honestly, I didn't want to be there in the first place but my wife and her extended family are big fans of his so I obliged. The food sucked arse all around. We were shocked. I couldn't help but draw correlations between the staff and food sucking arse and Gordon's treatment of restaurants for far less offensive issues.
was it better than in n out? i had my first in in out last week, i ordered the double double meal,it was only $10, came with a drink and fries. i'm still dreaming about it. if i ever go back to the west coast, i cant wait to go back.
Big fan of you and your channel. Just a suggestion, if you are there reviewing the burger (based on the title and name of the restaurant) you should start with the burger and not the fries. To be fair you should eat the burger fresh and hot and not let it get cold while you review the side dish first.
I went there a few years ago (prob mid 2010s) and the burgers were much cheaper. I believe I paid around $20 for the burger + truffle fries. I enjoyed it quite a lot. The other thing, which is unfortunate, on the strip itself there arent too many cheaper joints for meals. At the time, that was a quite reasonable price for a good burger and fries compared to a lot of other options.
I've been to the Burger in Chicago. I don't remember it being bad, but then again I don't remember much about it at all. While Chicago prices are cheaper than the Las Vegas strip, I would agree with you that you are not really getting what you're paying for and it's not worth the hype.
I hope you made it to Sushi Samba while you were out there! That was my spot in The West Village for years, now Vegas is the only one left in The States. But, anyway... Great review as always! I do the truffle burger by me at Uncle Jack's in NYC when I can swing it. $49 a burger, yet I keep going back. Maybe I'll run into you there one day! Safe travels, and enjoy that food!
You are right about the Vegas location. I had a burger there and while technically well put together it lacked flavor in the meat which was surprising. The mangalitsa bacon was nothing special maybe because it was too crisp. Don’t think anyone can say that a Gordon Ramsay burger beats out a local favourite anywhere. I am a fan of Ramsay but in this l think the Vegas location is lacking.
Yeah I too am a fan of Gordon's but I was not impressed with his burger joint. Maybe it's just the Vegas location. I wonder if his Vegas restaurants are less good in general, as I really enjoyed his Pub & Grill in Atlantic City but I went in Vegas and I found that location less good.
If you’re still in Vegas and you’re near the Cosmopolitan y’all should try Holsteins! The burger is a bit cheaper, you get a good value and delicious burgers!
You should of ordered the cookies and cream Creme Brulee shake, it's amazing! I have eaten here several times and thought it was decent. Haven't been for years and didn't realise the prices have gone up so much 😪
@ryangies4798 I posted before he released the video! His was definitely over cooked! My stout burger was excellent and my wife's chicken burger was A++++! The English toffee shake was delicious. Fries were very good too! Top 3 burger in Vegas imo and I live here!
I was served Heinz ketchup when I was there in 2016 and had more burger options. A lot has changed since and I can't wait to go back to try those burgers again. I really enjoyed devouring four burgers in one sitting because it was that good.
The chairs are the way they are so you don't stay too long. Part of the unsaid goals of a vegas place like this is to move the customer along while they collect your $. The longer a patron stays is one less new customer to sit at the table. Basically, each chair, table and bar stool is an income maker. McD's is a good example of this.
Always enjoy your vids! The truffle fries will be truffle oil, no way they'll grate it fresh on fries for a $3 up charge. The fact you said its subtle, hopefully means it was real truffle oil at least, and not "truffle flavored oil" which is way more common.
I just looked … and the first burger is $8 less at his Chicago and Boston locations (others are $10 less). But fries do come with the burgers in Vegas.
BURGR is the BEST hamburger in the world! I NEVER heard of an “up charge” to sit at the chef kitchen. Could you confirm this? You’re correct, the Ketchup is the BEST that you can mate with a burger!!!!!🍔 Also, the size of the burger has been reduced by 50% since they opened as “BURGR”, mainly because of the cost and inflation
If you’re at a restaurant that serves anything truffle and they don’t shave it on your food in front of you, they’re using truffle oil and charging more.
You are 100% correct. Stay away from this upsell ripoff unless it's shaved on fresh.
I'm not a fan of truffle oil it smells like gasoline! 😉
What makes this funny to me is how Gordon Ramsay always berated cooks for the use of truffle oil.
If I’m not mistaking, truffle oil doesn’t even have any truffles in it at all right? its simply a flavor they get from a couple chemical compounds?

Congrats on your subscriber count UA !!! Good review but I think I'll stick to White Mana n White Castle, lol ! To bad you didn't try a place called Off The Strip . Its rite next to the Flamingo on the promenade. The burger was so so good and like half the price as the Ramsey rip off
Just saying. Keep it going dude !!❤
Gordon Ramsay would be like, "What's Up With This Chair, Who Made This Chair!!!" Hahahahahahahaha 😂!!!
Truffles aren’t mushrooms.
Is it a rule for evey restaurant to never spread the fry toppings evenly? Always heavy in the middle light on the outside and bottom
UA I’m so glad you get to do this full time.
The Mirroring is getting better 👍👍
Sounds like Gordon Ramsey needs to pay his Vegas joint a visit incognito and do a review.
my son threw up there while eating and they treated him terribly.
Can you do a video about tipping and your tipping strategy
was it better than in n out? i had my first in in out last week, i ordered the double double meal,it was only $10, came with a drink and fries. i'm still dreaming about it. if i ever go back to the west coast, i cant wait to go back.
" Those are Real Flames!" , Hahahahahahahaha 😂!!!
Thanks for taken one for the team. An easy Pass for me.
I've been to the Burger in Chicago. I don't remember it being bad, but then again I don't remember much about it at all. While Chicago prices are cheaper than the Las Vegas strip, I would agree with you that you are not really getting what you're paying for and it's not worth the hype.
I never get tired of the ragtime music ... UE Eats wouldn't be the same without it !
Good vid.
UA what’s the piano music you play when filming your vids?
I'm not much into celebrity restaurant. Never been to any one.
By the way, can you do a video on Chinatown?
I like Chinese food!
I’d like to see you try Krug’s Tavern in Newark. A really great burger. Nice bar pizza too.
If you’re still in Vegas and you’re near the Cosmopolitan y’all should try Holsteins! The burger is a bit cheaper, you get a good value and delicious burgers!
My go to on the strip… haven't had anything that comes close.
I still have fuddruckers near me
You should of ordered the cookies and cream Creme Brulee shake, it's amazing! I have eaten here several times and thought it was decent. Haven't been for years and didn't realise the prices have gone up so much 😪
Homeboy with a Ferrari as a display pic is complaining about prices lol ...yeahhhhh
$34 for a burger?!!! 🤦🏻♂️
It's quite expensive...
Welcome to Vegas!
It’s the ingredients McDonald’s don’t have Wagyu on their menu
@@tonystrades8007 u never had wagyu..me personally I love wagyu on its own. But wagyu ain’t cheap
For that price it enter come with a happy ending.
Had the burger at Oscar’s it was 26 bucks and pretty dam good huge too the fry’s were some of the best I’ve had
$33 for a burger? LMAO. I live here, no one that is here goes there. Ridiculous.
That truffle burger looks messy. I usually ask for silverware when I eat a messy burger.
1000% yes! Just posted some videos from there last week. My burger was excellent and so was my wife's! The shake was good too! I'll definitely go back
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
@@uaeats I had the stout medium cooked. Yours definitely looked over cooked.
We dont eat truffle parmesan fries in the UK,so not sure why its represented as english food.
Where do you see it being represented as British food. It’s a burger joint. That’s American.
@@jamespohl-md2eq it's got union jack insignia all over it,and burgers are originally from Germany
@@darrenburke9630 Who cates if it has the Union Jack. It’s a burger joint. That’s American.
And, the modern hamburger is American.
It's not from America dummy have you got that .
Thanks UA for a enjoyable review. It seems like those burgers are overkill. Sometimes boutique is not better than simple done correctly.
Good point--They should just be honest and call it an "Instagram Burger."
Always enjoy your vids! The truffle fries will be truffle oil, no way they'll grate it fresh on fries for a $3 up charge. The fact you said its subtle, hopefully means it was real truffle oil at least, and not "truffle flavored oil" which is way more common.
Oh wow. Gotta stop by there next trip to Vegas !
There seems to be a point of diminishing return when burgers get that high in price.
Right I've had great burgers at half the price
@@irishspagetti6565 Exactly. Some of the best burgers I've had were dirt cheap at places in the middle of nowhere.
I just looked … and the first burger is $8 less at his Chicago and Boston locations (others are $10 less). But fries do come with the burgers in Vegas.
Glad UA went for the Truffle Burger so I could see the results... 👍🏿
Reservations for a cheeseburger? I can tell you already not worth it.
BURGR is the BEST hamburger in the world! I NEVER heard of an “up charge” to sit at the chef kitchen. Could you confirm this?
You’re correct, the Ketchup is the BEST that you can mate with a burger!!!!!🍔
Also, the size of the burger has been reduced by 50% since they opened as “BURGR”, mainly because of the cost and inflation
Higher prices, less value. Welcome to the new normal.
Shrinkflation baby!
I don't think i'd like the chunk of avocado. I would want it sliced and fanned out over the whole burger so there would be some in every bite.
You should have went to Holsteins in the Cosmopolitan for a great gourmet burger. Probably my favorite burger joint here.
you know its disappointing when the best thing is the ketchup... $33 for ground meat?? Get a good ribeye for about $15 more.
some places you can get a good steak meal for 30 bucks and there you're paying over 30 for ground meat, it's too much
I have to know, Gordon Ramsay burger vs George Motz burger. Who wins?
