Have to agree that the cards are absolutely beautiful. It warms my heart as a big bang dream fan.
Fyi, this is called a "Premium Booster". It's supposed to be a premium product, hence the only 3 cards per pack and 6 packs per box. The regular boosters boxes are 9 cards per pack and 16 packs per box.
Of course, later this year the booster boxes are changing to 12 packs per box and 8 cards per pack.
Also big fan of Weiss so would love to see more content.

YOOO!! Love to see more Weiß on the channel! Bandori is awesome, glad to see a fellow enjoyer! And indeed, having new art for the game like this is sick, your pulls were pretty dope as well! I can wholeheartedly recommend the It's MyGO!!!!! show, it's just 12 episodes and a really heartfelt watch from start to finish if you're into drama/music stories. One of my favorite shows as of late and you don't need prior knowledge from the other shows or the game to appreciate it.
SPs are typically in 3-4 boxes per 18 piece case. Premium cases are 30 boxes or so with 2-3 SPs .
The card you’re thinking of is a “retrain” of “That Irritating Girl”, a bonkers event from the og set. The old event was about 45$ per copy at one point. The new event is awesome looking.
That TD is also busted. The PRs are a new thing for just that deck. A slight modification to that deck swept my locals two weeks in a row.
Do you know what the slight modifications where? I like MyGo a lot so I wanted to get the TD too
@@J0k3573r Have they announced the full breakdown when Frieren comes out. Apparently when that set comes out, there going to be a new breakdown ( less cards per pack, less packs per box) but if you buy a case it shouldn't affect you?
@@rolvirata9003 it’s the first in JP as well that has a new format. The stats should be very similar to SVE. Back to 8 card packs, keeping one Rando slot for anything, ditching CR and CC CXs for just CR. Last chaff, more potential SRs, but cases still provide a full double base rare playset and 3-4 SPs. The box and pack rippers will have a harder time getting SPs. Case rippers will be unaffected.
@@Chumbv basically to keep it just MyGo, you need to nab another red 3/2, 2 climax swap PRs, the anti-change PR, 2 more of each the 2/1 change, the pants(arch) climax, 3/2 combo, the 3k on death clock-plus(if it doesn’t already come with 4). I got a TD playset so I supplemented mine from the 5th anniversary set. Stuff like the 1/1 red “anti-change” bomb, and the MASKING climax swap.

I really enjoy the gameplay. Maybe it’s because I’m a math guy but learning to play with compression has been super fun.
I wish there was a way to learn the game digitally. I have tried but wasn't able to really get enough games in to understand the game. And no local scene but I do really like weiss

I also pulled hard in this set. One box got me an SP Futaba 0/0.
I also have never really been interested in Weiss (or One Piece even tho it's one of my favorite series) because I'm not a fan of the screenshot/manga art either. But this set does have some really beautiful cards, especially those foils!
I’ve yet to try weiß schwarz but there is a group that plays at my LGS, I may have to get one of the trail decks. I am a bit hesitant about a game with life decking but if it’s fun why not.
@@Kodiack308 Say, did you know that you life deck up to seven cards(damage) then only lose 1 of those 7? The rest go in your discard pile. When you run out of cards you simply reshuffle and take 1 damage. This means, that during the whole game, when it comes to life decking, you normally only lose 3 cards?
@@rolvirata9003 I did not know that. That is cool and prevents my concerns with life decking. I do like that those resources are not wasted and are eventually shuffled back into my deck. Thanks for the information, I'm looking forward to trying out Weiss Schwarz.
@@Kodiack308 you run a lot of 4ofs for your main pieces. You’ll see a lot of them and the game flow is generally very consistent. Treat it more like a game like DC deck builder and Ascension, where you’re attacking and building resources, moving through your deck and then building your new deck from your discard that’ll have less regular cards with preferably the same number of sideways/climax cards in your deck. On damage checks from your opponent’s attacks, if you check a CX card, you block the damage. Damage is almost never guaranteed. Lesser numbers will be more likely to stick, but if you need to swing 4 to close a game, you’ll take the risk, even if it is likely to cancel.
In that regard, Weiss wears more of its RNG on its sleeve. Where mtg has “I have to pray to get pieces” and Pokemon and YGO can end in a turn with a bad startup, Weiss has the “sometimes I didn’t cancel damage”, but you still have plenty of opportunities in that game to try and mitigate that.

I have played weiss for a long time now. Don't play as often as I like because the lack of community around me. The game has come a long way. I feel like the foiling/ artwork varies from set to set. Some have amazing artwork and foils like the early SAO or attack on titan. Then you have stuff like gurren laggann and batman movie set with sticker like foil cards. I was really disappointed.
Power creep is so different now. A trial deck now is so much stronger than the early year trial decks.
I can see it as a collectors market, especially if you include sp's from popular sets. There is a competitive side because some sets just aren't as strong as others.
Only the IPs that are owned by Bushiroad get these high quality arts otherwise it’s still screen caps or generic licensed art. Most of the popular anime’s fall under the generic category unfortunately. They end up sharing art on the signed cards with other TCGs even 😂 so doesn’t feel that special imo.

@@itmealice it is hands down one of the best communities and funnest games to take part in. You may have to build up a locals like I did(twice), but it’s such a satisfying game.

@@hvr8463 it’s a good deck as well. 8 Door Yukina into Kasumi is the current way to play Bang Dream but there’s a lot of other BD decks that still hit close to that power level. Like Hololive, it’s a deck cook’s wet dream.
Weiss is the best game to play. Really unfortunate they neglect an online client.
@@Alexketchem unless you want to bankroll it for licenses, it’ll probably never happen. I will agree that it does need something to use for BRO and other online events.
@@J0k3573r they just need a slow rollout of BSR IPs first and then they can see the acquisition rate from there + scope in licensing future stuff. I think players all over the world would just appreciate being able to play daily without use of a stream setup or 1-4 local tournaments a week.

It's definitely an "every now and then" tcg for me. I enjoy it but not like SVE were I can easily play all day
