despite reading the rulebook, there are things that are not explained well. Many times when I play with another player there is a confusion about how to use the "Backup card" about when exactly to use it. The same thing happens when it is an "Event card "and it also has a Backup symbol, according to the rules the events can only be used on my turn but since at the same time they are backups. They are also supposed to be used on the opponent's turn, but the problem is in which phase of the opponent should this be used without causing a problem. it's confusing and then there are arguments with the opponent. Another problem is that they do not clearly explain the side attack, because many do not take into account the trigger and perform the subtraction of souls before.
I agree that the rules could be explained more clearly, and I think that the complex nature of the game makes it difficult for new players to get into. Hopefully as more content creators make Weiss content we can help alleviate that.
@@ChairmanTCG and this SUPER helped! Now I actually understand what the point of the game is, which allows me to move onto stuff like effects and what the heck climax and those symbols mean. Splitting them up like this was wonderful! Thank you for making this vid :)
The Vid helped but still a confusing game for a newbie like me that hasn't played a TCG. Looks like Hololive is putting out their own TCG soon so I'll try that first as there will be more new players like me and it's pokemon based so maybe easier to learn.
If you take 3 soul damage, and the first card you draw is a climax, do you carry on and draw another 2 and they all go to the waiting room or do you just stop there?
When you try to be funny when contradicting your instructions, it only makes further confusion on a "How to play" video. Also its cringe. Wanted to really learn how to play this, but this video got me more confused.
This is the most helpful Weiss Schwartz introduction/tutorial I’ve watched and actually helped me learn the game. Thanks so much!
I laughed so much with you referring the 'paper manual' as the 'Ikea manual' 😂
I just got into Weiss Schwarz to start collecting but I may start actually playing the game soon once I decide on a deck that I want to build
This is quality entertainment. I'm learning so much all holding my sides laughing

Can you make a video about deck building?
thank you , you some how make it even more confusing compared to the official weiss schwarz channel
A great up to date how to weiss schwarz video!
🤣 best 'how to' video I've watched
sweet , thanks for the hilarious tutorial lol
i've watched this video 5 times now...
i understand the game even less now XD
(also, "HoWeVeR")
I finally know how to play white shards. Iykyk.
>says "however"
>puts cimooooooo in
I fucking saw you gloss over that
I still dont understand :)
I refer to it as the tax code
Maybe I missed it but I don't think you explained effects and paying their costs.
I didn't cover it in this video, this was more focused on explaining how to understand Weiss Schwarz as a game rather than a tutorial.

Good stuff!
Ok, i think i understand the game

you simply stop once you reveal a climax
@@ChairmanTCG Thank you
What if stage is full, can we swap the character card?
Yes, you can freely move and rearrange your stage during your Main Phase
But, how do I tap mana?
Kaguya is kino
I think I'm sticking to Yu-Gi-Oh for now, unless Konami makes another Tearalament card, then I'll try this one out
😵💫
From someone that knows nothing about this game.. this wasn't particularly well made.
The most difficult part is spending hours translating the texts unless you can read Japanese
