If Bronny wanted to make a name for himself, it would have been easy. Step 1: Sign with someone other than his daddy's Klutch Sports. Step 2: work out for any and every team that was interested, and let it be known that you would be grateful for the opportunity to play for any team that drafted you. Step 3: If and when you make an NBA roster, dunk on your daddy.
If he wanted to be his own man he would have stayed in school & developed his game instead of jumping to the nba when he know he not ready

THE ONLY reason he's getting this criticism is because he got drafted into the NBA. 1) coming off a heart scare. 2) Averaging 5 pts 3 ast 2 reb on a losing team on which he didn't start and people know that no other player would've gotten drafted from those circumstances but his father forced the issue. Bronny would've been more respected coming in as an undrafted free agent or staying in college and improving his game to the point where he became a legitimate top prospect sought after by multiple organizations. Now he's forced to grow up before he needed too and he's under a magnifying glass because of the way he entered the league

This kid's draft is just to make history for the Lakers, having an all-time great play with his son. No one expects this kid to be as great as his dad. After the first few times they play together, the novelty will wear off, and the kid will be making sporadic cameos from the bench playing his nintendo switch until he eventually leaves the league because daddy already has multiple generations of his family already set for life.
Lakers treated Lebron like he was Kobe. Had Kobe had a son, the Lakers drafting him no matter what his game was like would be a no brainer, this is not that. Even worse, Bronny isn’t even naturally gifted to the point where you go “He’s just like his dad”… he’s not, nowhere near it. People hate this type of shiii for a reason, it’s almost like if Michael Jackson’s white son got a record deal from Sony, released a so-so album, had Pepsi sponsor his world tour and had his music played on radio stations across the world even though it’s trash. 🤷🏾♂️
LeBron did his son a huge disservice not advising him to play a couple full years in college. Brown knows ball, he had to know his kid sucks. All I can think is that LeBron didn’t have the patience to keep playing until his son was actually ready

Hall of Famers, Superstars to role players has produced the same in their sons in different variations. It’s always been organic because they all respected and or loved the game they played. The man has taken the name “king” to his head clearly.
