Just one detail. If you do this, MAKE SURE that you put the zig-zag plastic parts on the pot in the correct position. I just greased my pedals (after 1 month of use, I had absolutely horrible noise on throttle pedal) and after the re-assembly, I discovered that I only had like 15% of gas in the Thrustmaster control panel. So I had to re-open it again and put the pot in the correct position. It can be little trickey - the best is to check the position of the other pedals... (looking from bottom, in 0 position, there must be 5 plastic teeth visible on the white plastic part). So I would recommend: NEVER take out all 3 pedals at once. Because you won't know what is the correct position of the pot zig-zag wheel mechanism. Anyway... sooooo happy that I got rid of the noise.
I literally sprayed WD-40 into the spring and around it without having to take it apart like in this video; Works just as new! I suggest the WD-40 method if you’re lazy like me
I decided to try a few sprays of WD40 down the sides of the pedals and it's stopped the squeak completely. Was too much of a ball ache to dissemble my whole rig pedal plate and then the actual pedal set. But hasn't come back so far maybe give it a try before dissembling the pedals might help.
