Bought a 2024 Ct5-V in Midnight Steel, all packages except Super Cruise. It replaced my 2008 Mercedes CL63. While the MB was a beast, the running maintenance costs starting to become prohibited. The only thing I miss was the CL larger trunk and the amazing seats, but that expected from the get go. With that said, I loving the CT5-V everyday a little more.
I love the look of the old CL63's.. Same with the CLS.. I could imagine it was pretty expensive to maintain.. The CT5-V is a sweet ride.. Very quick, sounds great, and is just overall a great sedan.. Congrats on your new Caddy!
@703Speed Thanks. IMHO the CL63 before the facelift, are among the most beautiful cars of their era and was a blast to live the dream during my 4 years of ownership. Don't let me start with that marvelous 6.2/518 HP engine... But had reached a point that every 6 months or so it required 3,000 in repairs. So, there is time so say goodbye to everything.
Keep talking about the CT5-V. I am certainly think is a great car that a lot of people don't know about, because when they think Cadillac, all their bulky SUVs of recent pass come to mind. This model is a strong return to a modern classical car design language.
$6k a year in maintenance is crazy.. @@alemarba
Thats insane @703Speed
@@703Speed Tell me about it... And the full ceramic break Job was looming in the horizon...
best review I've seen yet on this vehicle
Great job. I’m actually looking to buy a CT5 right now. This video was perfect to push me to making my final decision. Thx
I can't wait until you can get a 2025 CT5 "V" to review . . the new dash and even the changes in the front end styling are much better ( in MY opinion )
Love the car Thinking strongly about getting one. You do a great job
I like the 2024 which is one reason I just bought one
I like the 2024 better and bought one. Coastal Blue Metallic. Love it !
They should have made a 6 sp manual in this model too. A Blackwing CT5 V in this would have been more affordable than the V8. Listen GM.
That would be sweet! I wonder how many they would sell tho?
Love my 2024 CT5-V! Beats the European alternatives IMHO. Love the V6 turbo engine.
I'd be interested in one like that but in Rift Metallic. The one thing you didn't mention is: This car has 100% LED lighting throughout the car. Zero incandescent lights. That's a huge factor for me & the reason I traded out of my 2019 Blazer. IMHO, the CT5 Series is the best looking Cadillac Sedan & it's right up there with the late 70s Seville models. Pure class & elegance with a muscular stance. Chevy pulled a shifty move on the new Blazer released Fall 2018. They intentionally mixed incandescent brake lights & signals with LED running lights. The LED technology was already in full swing at the time. Camaros, Traverse & C7 'vettes were already using them fully before 2018. They had the technology & chose not to use it on the all-new Blazers selling for near $50,000. That still behooves me 🤔
My preference is the current look CT5, 2020-2024. The new one may grow on me, but that panoramic view instrument cluster is the future. I brought my car in for Service & the loaner was a 2024 XT4. Same instrument cluster layout. 2025 is supposedly the last year these beautiful sedans will be produced 😢
Yes of course & I buy 2024 Cadillac CT5-V.
You will!
中国怎么买
Insane Cadillac bro!
For sure
Ordering the 2025 with new infotainment as soon as possible
True.. Do you prefer the exterior looks of the 24' or the 25'?
@@703Speed I like both 2025 bigger grill might be nicer in person
True. Usually vehicles look better in person than in pics@@I_am_newyork
This car is one engine away from being great. Looking the Cadillac website I could get this car for 51K without options. or i could spend the extra 9k on a manual CT4-V Blackwing, with no options. As these are "enthusiasts cars" Id get the latter. BUT if GM put a Naturally Aspirated V-8 in the CT5-V Series gave it 380-400 hp, NOW I'm torn between the CT4-V Blackwing which is faster but has a "Lame Engine" or the slower but "cooler" V-8 powered CT5-V Series.
An N/A V8 in this would be sooooo good!!!
My last SDV was white exterior all red interior loved it. Thanks. Peace bro.
That sounds like a pretty baller spec
Pretty nice car. I would choose Blackwing. Greetings
Me too! With a 6 speed
Up your car budget another $80,000 & you may qualify to get one.
Lmao no you wouldn't
Ct5v blackwing is the dream 😫😫
Nice job, thank you!
It is time for an upgrade to this model.
Man im glad i own a dealership and can drive all the cars anyway i want too 😂😂 I cant restrain myself but love your vids handsome 😊
What's the fastest you've driven?
182 and got scared 😂😂
Lol. I did 188 in a Lambo Urus and it was insane. Was trying for 200, but It wasn't gonna do it@@shawnharris7747
Nice car hope they keep it thru 2026 😢but the new Seville is coming 😢so they will be good for the used car market 😢
what ct4 other then V or blackwing comes with 310HP?
I own a 22 CT5 so may be biased but I genuinely like the 22-24 style better than the 25 redesign. The restyled front end looks a little bulky and less stylish to me.
I have to reserve opinion until I see it in person
@@703Speed fair. I’ll probably come around to liking the new one more just because it’ll be fresher
I just saw a picture of the new CT5 V Blackwing and it looks sweet with the refresh@@briandbenson
How are you enjoying your CT5? Would you strongly recommend getting one?
I want one of these so I can it can it "my Cadillac car" like Cotton Hill
25 extra horse power for the V , versus the regular 550T is absolutely horrid ... Cadillac basically gave up with trying on all levels. Nissan altima looking interior and arguably the altima interior is even nicer and to be able to justify buying the V instead of the 550T for an extra 25 hp ....25!!! Is absolutely absurd
I HAVE NO MONEY, I HAVE NO JOB, BECAUSE WE´RE LIVING IN A PLACE WHERE IS NOTHING
Need them to drop in price so I can trade-in my Impala on one
Then your Impala will also lose value
Have 2024 CT5 V. Owners manual says sunroof shade must be closed manually. Found the handle, but when I get it close to closed it springs back to open. Can you tell me how to “manually” close the shade?
The one in the front or rear?
The interior in the 25 is far better!
AWESOME VID...I PREFER THE 2024
Is this a Chevy Malibu?
Would you buy a BMW 530 or this Cadilac??
A new body style 530? Not a fan of the new 530, bc of that I’d go with the CT5-V for sure
@@703Speed How about a Mercedes E450? I know it is 15k more expensive than the CT5V
CT5-V
2020 CT6-V blackwing is 100% better
Nope. 96%
Too many packages to just get one option you want/need.
2025 is just a refresh, it’s not a full redesign.
Gets a major interior refresh and a new front fascia/headlights.
It's officially called the mid-cycle refresh.
Ct5v or m340
Ooff that's tough. I really like the m340, but this seems more spacious, and more affordable new for new
Nobody gives a shit about the weather
Anything over 100k is too much for a car
Thankfully this isn’t near 100k!
@@703Speed really everywhere I look it’s around $110k
@@DefinitelyAFakePagethat's for the Blacwing. The regular CT5-V starts at 52k.
It’s like 65-67k for full options
2025 looks worse
