It a real deal, Maartn!!!!! No computer, no machine, no stupid trap beats. it's a real hip hop, real sampling into s950, mpc and sp!!!! so much respect. I'm your fan. Yo, don't stop.
Thanks my man! Yeah, as a Boom Bap fan, I wasn't really feeling the "Trap Rhythm Roulette's", that's the main reason why I wanted to do this tbh... Pz!
That's a really good beat you got out of all that. I started off being more of a Hip Hop guy but now days I'm usually more into some sort of punk rock or thrash metal.
Wow, great video! This is easily on par with the best ones from the "original" Rythm Roulette! And man, 4:58 - 5:05, when you switched between the two machines, showed me again how much I want an SP... instant phat drums!
Ashley Ashcon Been collecting everything since I was 16, so it took me 8 years to get it like this. If you look to my older videos with the MPC500 you'll see how it used to look. Pz!
Dope title for this! The full raw sound is where it’s at and you my friend got it all day!! Keep making bangers player! Big Shout from the East Coast. God Speed!
I used to do the note thing and forgot about it, pleasant surprised when I pulled a record out the other day and it had a post -it on it saying epic guitar 74bpm.
You are Dam right!! In Times when there was nothing Like this Sounds WE create different shit nothing compare to Others WHO Always Sample the same shiiiiiiit! Keep in!!!
2:04 that shit goes hard !!!, great job bro you were dealt a shit hand and made a good beat. The baseline of the beat reminds me of Smiff and Wesson's 'Timbz n Hood check' track.
Just after 8mins , when you press a sample on the sp , is the rack which I’m guessing is a 950 ... does that grab the sample and loop delay it ? Cause it sounds like the sample plays , then selects a point to delay from .. ?! Your beats are crazy !
I don't know if you can do microsampling with any of those samplers, but with that you can do almost any sounds, though then we get into sound design and synthesis theotory :)
can I do that "hanging looped end of sample" on mpc500? it's amazing that can you figure out all the hardware working together. the beat has that RJD2 feel
mad skills b, how much did you cop your s950s? Been having a hard time finding one that does not cost an arm and a leg. Guess the price is worth it tho.

Sick comment :D Thanks man!! Pz!
What do you mean no machine?
Maschine is a German brand like akai with their mpc which produces midi controllers etc
Thats was real hip hop in full effect. Put a lot of the mass appeal featured beatmakers to shame.
Thanks my man! Yeah, as a Boom Bap fan, I wasn't really feeling the "Trap Rhythm Roulette's", that's the main reason why I wanted to do this tbh... Pz!
I agree they have been using these trap producers lately. I'm like c'mon man can we get some boom bap
Agree
MAARTN Agree
Smoked most of the Mass Appeal joints. Killing it G.
GENIUSS!!!
That look on his face at 3:35 when he found a usable sample is priceless - mark of a great producer - hope you upload new content soon.....
I hit like the moment it started. Unofficial Rhythm Roulette is dope, period. Just a few minutes in, loving it. Taking notes!
Mad props Kid! HIP HOP is alive and well in that bedroom. Sweet studio set up. Keep on droppin joints for the Heads Bro. Peace.

Man. All the things in your studio must amount to so much money! You must have invested so much into it.
Ashley Ashcon Been collecting everything since I was 16, so it took me 8 years to get it like this. If you look to my older videos with the MPC500 you'll see how it used to look. Pz!

Thanks! New videos are in the making, just need to find time to edit them ;) Pz!
Have you considered outsourcing the edits. Buy yourself back some time.
Not really, I like to take my time for my edits as well. Everything needs to be perfect, even the smallest details :p
Prince Paul sampled that baseline for the prince of thieves album, the track with Everlast.

Yoo, thanks man! The mixer is the Yamaha MG20XU. Peace!
dope!
Koe The Flavekid Thanks bro
How is all the machines connected?
Most of them connect via midi. The sound outputs all come together in that Yamanha mixer
i LIKE YOUR SAMPLE CHOICE
nice beat! loving the sp12 and the 3000, may i ask what you have on your rack? s950 and something else?
yo this was tight! one love
sp-12 your really keeping it old school. Are you just using it for the sequencer and triggering the 3000 from it.
I don't know if you can do microsampling with any of those samplers, but with that you can do almost any sounds, though then we get into sound design and synthesis theotory :)
Heel vet gedaan man , nog een wonder dat je er een beat uit weet te krijgen.
Keep it up
SpaceTraveler 1 Had het ook niet verwacht hoor haha, peace!!
Yo were do you buy your drum breaks I'm looking.
I take them from records I find in shops or record fairs.
Great video, dope beat! Martin, what did u use for adding reverb on snare here? Thanks
Thanks! I did not put any reverb on the snare, it's the reverb on the orignal drumbreak. Peace man
lol, you got some perfect samples and into's there.
can I do that "hanging looped end of sample" on mpc500? it's amazing that can you figure out all the hardware working together. the beat has that RJD2 feel
mad skills b, how much did you cop your s950s? Been having a hard time finding one that does not cost an arm and a leg. Guess the price is worth it tho.
Yo man, thanks. I bought them a few years ago for only about 100-150 euros before they went for those crazy prices... Pz!
