Cheers from Colorado....I dig your shit homie! Imma old B-Boy who grew up in the 80's in Oakland....saw the beginnings of hip hop. I admire how you've adopted this being 1000's of miles from its roots. Keep grinding young brotha
Slovenia is so beautiful country!! One of the prettiest in Europe. You can ski in high Alps, sit in a car and 2h later swim in crystal clear warm Adriatic sea. Great country, great people. Regards from Poland
my favorite episode, when things with covid will be better, feel invited to Wrocław/Poland, nice digging spots, large inside skatepark, outside spots also :)
Great stuff MAARTN! I used to love travelling to strange places across Europe and buying jazz LPs.... I remember buying a lot in Berlin, Prague book shops some years ago... as well as Gothenburg coffee shops, record stores in Copenhagen, Warsaw... the prices are high now because everyone is on to it... but wow loved those times... can't wait to get back to it after this COVID crap is out of the way...
Ryan Larocca damn I gotta agree. I’m almost 40 now and this was life for me back then, well in America.... and I had to lug a 2kxl around... but still.
I love your room setup and the creative stuff you come up with for beats even if you don't like them i still think they sound dope AF. Cheers m8 from PA, USA
Hey man, big greetings from Bosnia, glad you enjoyed the Balkans, and happy you found so many record stores , here in Banja Luka, in the second biggest city, there are no record stores...we mostly buy it on flea markets or over resellers who up the price...but yeah love your videos
Love this video man skating digging making beats and traveling this is like a dream come true bro ! Can’t wait to go digging in Japan when I travel there in April with my maschine and pt 01 🔥
When I was younger I did the same, skateboarding, travelling and digging vinyl-samples for my beats in every record store from Brussels to Compton.Hehe And I'm living in Belgium too! Pz bro! You're always welcome! Malinas in da house! It makes me happy when I see youth choosing the right path of Hip Hop!
Great sampling and also your a really good skater as well. Boardslides and nose slides damn. A skater whose into sample based music and boom bap is really rare where I'm from.
Definitely one of my favorite channels. Skateboarding and hip hop/beatmaking are two of my favorite passions! I've been skating since I was 8 since the cky era haha
Really come to like your videos more and more I like the adventure Vlog type of this serie. Inspiring shit! Makes me want to beatmake :) and not by being that influencer shit telling you what to do or trying to be motivational that’s inspiring to me as an artist and content creator! Much love man!!
good video and good stuff in general man, I'm just getting into sampling and producing my own sound, I'm from Belgium too, got any vids on what to look for when picking out records?
The tune you made with the records from the expensive store has potential I would revisit it one day and take out the chanting as thats the bit that didn't work for me. Nice skills tho. Subbed
I love ur videos n beats! Do u have any tips on digging vinyl, or sampling in general, i mean stuff like what era-genre-instruments-so-on do u look while digging samples? Thanks in advance!
I will make a video about this soon, lot's of people have been asking about it. But for now I can tell you I try to look for records from the 70s most of the time. I like to sample jazz most of the time, those records usually have the instruments played on the back of the record. So that way you can search for your favorite instruments, I look a lot for Electric Piano, Moog, Vibes, ... Peace
that dude making beats, travelling and skating. my man, my man...
Lenny What a life!
Don't get it wrong, this was on my holiday. I'm doing a regular 9 to 5 job most of the time. These are just my hobbies :) peace!!
