Great video sir very informative. I just replaced my water pump on my 2013 Chevy Impala and right on the top of it. I could see a puddle of coolant and sure enough it’s right under that housing you just pointed out on the passenger side of the engine, right on!
Sometimes those internet answers get annoying in a hurry. Too many "helpers" make obvious suggestions as if you didn't already know to check them. Radiator hose, hose clamps, and then the absurd, "It's a blown head gasket." It sure helps to find information from someone who actually fixed a few of them. My dad always said the quickest way to find as new leak is to replace just one thing. The rest will follow
Dan,...these new cars don't want people to work on them...give me a old car any day
For any one who was wondering the part he’s referring to is the Engine Coolant Outlet O-Ring. It costs about $6
To change that out after taking the two bolts do you just pull it out

I like the trolls with their " if you don't know what you are doing close the hood and take it to someone who does " comments. Very helpful.
How do you replace that o ring
Even though that 2013 Impala is modern, however once you restored it, it's holding up pretty good after all that time.
That’s why I love driving old vehicles 👏
Nice find!
It's dry o rings.
Your a real mechanic, thank you
Thanks, I'll check this!
Did you replace gasket ? Or the whole part
Thank you
I thought you were going to put a new axle under the dinosaur?? Video??
yes, old vehicles rule
Hello Dan
