I'm glad Hyundai decided to dip its toes into the sport compact market. This is a compelling product against the Jetta GLI and Civic Si. I'd probably go manual out of principle and because I don't care about being a few tenths of a second around a race track.
When I had my Kia Forte the best part of that car was the manual transmission. Nice notchy feeling and smooth into every gear. I miss that car, though I would get a Forte GT with the turbo engine instead of the n/a 2.0l.

This is so unimportant but ima say it anyways. One of the things ive always liked about the Elantra N aside from the obvious fact that its a badass car that Hyundai/Kia of all companies produced. Anyways I like how the N badge on the seat glow. Cause usually badges in the seat are almost always embroidered but in this case its not. You would think its just a regular printed logo but no, it glose and its really cool. Amongst basically everything else about this car.
This should ideally compete with a Type R. It's basically a Type R competitor for the price of the Si. The Si competitor should be the N Line. Just my thoughts.
The stick is always gonna win. I'm about 30 sec into the video and I know the stick is better. I like manual transmissions by the way.
