GPS top speed of the M8 and this Alpina B8 is almost identical (2km/h between them). The speedo seems to pretty optimistic on the Alpine. Both very nice cars btw, I would prefer the Alpina I think.
Yea but this isnt even any more power? Do alphina just remove the limiters. I thought M drivers package already did that? Or does it just lift the limiter to higher speeds?
M Drivers Package only raises it from 250 to 305, which is around 310 on the speedo. So still limited but i‘ll doubt it’ll be much faster without a tune.
@@user-fxw6k7da4 A 400-ish 1988 Alpina Biturbo B10 E34 does 315kph on the speedo and about 300 on GPS. M5 E39 does the same again about the 400hp mark. 600+ hp car should have absolutely no issues crossing that.
its already turned off, if you watch different youtube videos with this car its completely loud and artificial inside, this sounds natural and realistic
absolutely fierce performance🤣 blunt and undemanding on an empty highway straight ahead and in everyday traffic no faster than any other vehicle. Stick with two wheels... much better acceleration and always faster in everyday traffic

At "300" it's off by 17kph, that's a pretty big margin

Ah thats what software tuning means, you just increase the kph by a factor of 1.05 in the display!
