gr8 video, and I am just wondering why u didn't get going once the charge curve started dropping, instead of spending the extra 1hr+ waiting to get to 100%. From other charging videos I have watched an efficiency factor, & time factor, it works out better to leave at the charging curve peak. Also its better for the battery health. :)

Absolutely agree. I always try to stop at 80% but in this case it’s likely ABRP said I needed 100% to get to my next charging station on this road trip. That’s the only scenario when I charge above 80%.

I think you can still manually condition a Hyundai/Kia/Genesis by putting it in "Winter Mode" as you head to the charger.

I don’t think there is any other way to precondition the battery other than having the option on in settings and selecting the charger as a destination using the onboard nav. wow, what a great charging system...it's 35°F and pouring rain and your standing there like a fool trying to get your credit card charge to work...by the time you've figure it out the guy with the fossel fuel car has filled up and is on the way (all under the covered top of the station).

What a painful experience trying to charge up the car. I notice you have yet to test a Tesla and friend, you don't know what you've been missing. As they say, just get a Tesla!

While I haven’t reviewed a Tesla yet, I owned a 2019 Model 3 for a year. The Supercharging (L3) experience was exceptional.
