I never understand this question. If you have an S class, you drive it and then you drive it some more. I have a 2013 with only 46,000 miles on it. My friends tell me not to drive it when I go on trips. I’m like… I bought this car because of the ride and because I want to drive it long distances. If you were afraid of putting miles on the car, you should not buy the car. Drive it and enjoy it. If you take care of it, it will take care of you. I do oil changes every 5000 miles instead of 10 and I make sure my local mechanic knows to listen to it and treat it like a good woman.
dude i got a 2008 s550 w221 love this car its 4 matic as well its got 175k on it and still goin strong its fine to drive every day i just did the AMG upgrade kit on it.. man i love this car.. trust me its reliable very. dont listen to your goofy friends bro... drive it and enjoy it i got 400hp and 410 fpt tourqe u get that with the AMG upgrade no regrets
I bought the car w 86kmi...bought it to drive, not a garage ornament...I do most of my own mechanic work...so far, love the car...the overall quality is a joy to experience...again its a gamble, but for me, one worth taking...
It would be nice to see a facelift s350cdi 258hp or s500 be 435hp. W211 e320 224hp, w212, f10, a8, ml320, ml350cdi w164. Keep uploading. Really nice concept of posting. Pure driving, no bothering with talking, just enjoyment with discreet comentary about first person experience 👍🏻

Not officially no, maybe it is possibie to find one from a private seller with just a few km or maybe even mercedes have some stock but I am sure they are not for sale
Interior is absolutely Beautiful...if Not perfect. So much way more Elegant than a w222. I miss mi 2012 s65. I did have Rattles and Squeaks in the Interior though and my car was Brand new.
too much car for a daily driver, I have one of those but the S63 AMG facelift model twin turbo 2011, but it sits in the garage , too much power and car for a daily I drive it on the weekends only, beautiful car I love it.
I've had one for 3 years, the check engine light comes on every month, I've already put over €4000 into it and the check engine light is still on. I'll never do that to myself again
I am not sure about this exact one, but I know a few owners of W221 and mostly the airmatic is pretty reliable but of course it depends on how the previous owner drives it, but most of these have a high mileage so there is a chance that some parts of the air suspension will have to be replaced sooner or later
put it this way.... i come from a long line of benz owners in my family.... when i got in a position to buy my own i did just that and was approved for both models the w221 and the w222 the 221 was a 2010 the w222 was a 2015 zero down on both.. i chose the w221 hands down tell ya why .... the 222 is a nice looking car but its just an over sized e class with twin turbos the w221 is in a class all by it self much easier to maintain and looks great glad i did

I am anxious about giving it to someone else for maintenance. I am not afraid of using it, drive a lot and yes, then it gets really dirty sometimes. Washing it because a spec of dust to me isn't something on top of the list that determines your love of a car. You can't tell me I don't love my car because I don't wash it🫣🤭
Tazko povedat, tento majitel je s tym autom v servise pomerne casto, od prevodovky cez turbo az po roznu elektronika, vsetko to zalezi od totho ako sa o to auto staral prvy majitel, tu je vidiet ze auto malo uz niekolko majitelov, ktori nedbali na starostlivost, co sa tyka diesela tak motor je pomerne spolahlivy a zozerie primerane na 2 tonove auto, v priemere 8-9, mimo mesta sa da aj do 7 velmi opatrnou jazdou, je to uz starsie auto treba ratat ze tie naklady budu vacsie, ale statistiky nemam a nevlastnim ho takze viac neviem poradit :)

So you do oil changes every year? Because if you drive +-20k miles a year it's bonkers to change the oil every 5k miles.
Your car is still virgin. S class with 400k kilometers with regular maintenance is still ideal car for long distance.

Depends on how the car was serviced and treated, there are some issues as with every car but if maintained well the reliability is good

Too heavy, those years anything below 4.0 on an s class or 7 series was weak and gets annoying

Because it wasn’t perfectly clean it just looks like it on camera, and if you love your car it is never clean enough :)
