Yes a low mileage w221 is a rare find and id you do them its worth checking very well if there is not some big issue with the car being the reason of low miles on the clock

I am not sure about this exact one, but I know a few owners of W221 and mostly the airmatic is pretty reliable but of course it depends on how the previous owner drives it, but most of these have a high mileage so there is a chance that some parts of the air suspension will have to be replaced sooner or later

Do you mean a W221 or W222 S350? because I reviewed both of them and they are not that different except the technology inside

If I had to choose I would go for the s-class even if the tecnology is older it is way more comfortable and quiet, and especially the smooth ride of the mercedes is perfect, the 640 is on the sporty side it is great when you put your foot down and open it up on the highway and it handles great in the corners, but in the city you can feel that the car is not happy, the seats are a lot less comfortable and the noise from the engine is louder than what I would expect from that kind of car, of course the frameless windows also affect the nosie inside, but I spent a lot of miles with both of them they are great cars I think its about the preference, if you want a comfort and effortless drive than choose s350 if you want sporty drive and driving fun than the bmw is a better choice 🙂 economy of both are basicaly the same, consumption is somewhere between 8-9l/100km (26-29mpg US) and the service cost is high with both, the technology is of course better in the bmw it is a newer car-infotainment system, bluetooth audio, head up display is really nice… so of course that is a plus but if you are more interested in seating comfort and calm relaxing drive than definitelly the S350 🙂 if you get the chance test drive both and you will feel the difference the best

@@DAILY_DRIVER thanks for the long and detailed reply. I actually owned both cars before, albeit with a long pause and very different other cars in between. I was inclining towards the S350 also, especially with that very beautiful interior. But the gran coupe just has something special when I see it on the road, and it can come in some very nice specifications, especially with the extended merino leather interior…my biggest worry was about the “cheap” feel due to the noise and lack of sound insolation. Which of course in the S350 is impossible to find. You can feel the better build quality but also it can feel somewhat old at times. You confirmed what I didn’t want to admit, the Mercedes is the better car, the BMW is the better toy. Thanks a lot mate and good luck with the channel

It is 233 in this specification which is also stated in the car registration document, maybe for other specification or country of registration it is different
