Additional the character design in Lost Odyssey was drawn by the manga artist who drew Slam Dunk. Another 360 locked RPG that yoi could mention is Infinite Undiscovery or even Magna Carta 2
Lost Odyssey is exactly the type of game & risk Microsoft needs to try more to crack into Eastern Asia, even now. Those “dream” short stories in it are so damn good, too.
Culdcept! Nobody remembers Culdcept but me. Monopoly and Math made fun! So deep, amazing art. A top 10 series for me. We need a digital version, remake, sequel or a blatant copy especially with Slay The Spire types being so popular. Thanks for sharing, great vid!
Yeah I'd love to see the same gameplay make a come back. Slay the Spire is a game I play all the time so I could see myself getting addicted to it! Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for being a Camper and watching early!
Nobody remembers Culdcept Saga but I actually have a physical copy. I've never completed it but at least I have it. They definitely need to remaster it.
I didn't put it in the video but its kind of wild how both of those games came out within less of a year from each other. Its totally worth a try though, its an absolute blast.
My only beef with NNN is that it has an unecessary grind for levelling up in later levels for each character. Also, you could have brought up KUF Circle of Doom or Kameo. Dissapointed that KUF never got a Steam release.
Oh yeah there is definitely more 360 games to go into. Honestly Circle of doom is blind spot I really need to check out because I do really enjoy the two on the OG Xbox.
My buddy got tired of trying to revive his RROD afflicted modded 360 so he let me have it for free. I got the thing to boot after reflowing the solder using my -fancy reflow station- towel. Then I managed to play all the way through a burnt copy of Beautiful Katamari with no Red Rings by playing with the top half of the console ripped off with a window fan propped up directly on top of the chassis.
Great video dude! I was interested in getting Culdcept Saga because I'd never heard of it before, but I couldn't find it on ebay or anywhere else. After doing some research I found out it unfortunately didn't get released in PAL regions, only Japan and North America. So unluckily Europe missed out on that one lol. I did end up ordering a copy of The Outfit based on your recommendation! Thanks! You did a great job with this one!
Bullet Witch is an 3d action game. Gameplay has a little jank. But it is fun and has large destructible environments. Its also an Xbox 360 exclusive. Rumble Roses XX an all l women wrestling game. Developed by the same developers who did the Smackdown vs Raw and WWE games. Solid wrestling game. But its most known for its graphics and sexy wrestlers. This game is also an exclusive for the Xbox 360. Death Smiles is a side scrolling shootem up. Where you choose cute witches as playable characters. Very good shooter. Solid graphics with lots of replay ability . All 3 games are becoming uncommon, rare, and pricey.
@@campxbox there's also a remastered collection of Deathsmiles 1 & 2 available digitally for Xbox One & Series X/S so at least those are also still readily available in some capacity
I honestly really enjoy them. I'm an avid reader so I don't mind reading long passages in games and the writing in the game was surprisingly good. It adds great depth. The animations on the text can be a little silly but I don't think it distracts from the content so much.
Lost Odyssey & Beautiful Katamari look & perform great on current-gen Xbox consoles. Thanks to their gameplay & art-style, they both hold up quite well in this day & age. However...why in the WORLD is Ninety-Nine Nights & Ninety Nine Nights 2 not & were never made backwards-compatible?! The first game especially was even published by Microsoft & while the 2nd game was published by Konami, I believe they still own the IP. Also, Konami heavily supported backwards-compatibility, & if the Nintey-Nine Nights' ip rights reverted back to Gameworks, how come the series never showed up on a competitors' console platform, like the PlayStation, Nintendo Switch - heck, even Steam? It's especially frustrating if not outright tragic due to the fact where, any performance issues games like Nintey-Nine Nights had would likely not exist on newer hardware via emulation. This would maje such games look & play better than they ever did on their original hardware. Does anyone know the story as to why?
not entirely...still exclusive to Xbox at least, but all the Xbox 360 Saints Row games are backwards compatible on Xbox One & Series X/S so it's not technically trapped on 360
I fucking hate Ninety-Nine Nights. I'm not joking, I think you have to have brain damage to like that game. What a frustrating, bullshit and boring slog of a game. Lost Odyssey is an astounding game, one of my all-time favorite JRPGs (somewhere in the top 5, likely top 3 if I really thought about it), though, and like someone else mentioned, Operation Darkness is a great tactical title that has probably gone unnoticed by most people.

Agreed this and Blue Dragon were such great games on the 360 and I'd love to see more like that now.
Lost Odyssey was my first JRPG and it will always have a special place in my heart.
That's a great one to start with!
Don't forget Operation Darkness! Its an underrated gem that never left the 360, its fun after you learn the mechanics.
I've actually never played that one, but I'll definitely have to give it a try soon!
I love this game!
Awesome and very rare game!
Man oh man, what I wouldn't give for Ninety Nine Nights to be backwards compatible! I spent a ton of time playing it back in the day!
Another great hidden gem for 360 was Bullet Witch. I beat it multiple times and had a lot of fun with it.
Loved that one
18 years ago my gooood god now I feel super old. I’m in my 30s but dang that was my favorite generation of consoles gaming and ps2
Always nice to see Lost Odyssey get some love. It's a really amazing classic turn based RPG
It definitely deserves more love! Its a great one!

The Outfit kinda reminds me of Battalion Wars, but "for adults". I owned it for many years but never tried it. Guess that'll need to change now !
I didn't put it in the video but its kind of wild how both of those games came out within less of a year from each other. Its totally worth a try though, its an absolute blast.
N3 II aka Ninety Nine Nights 2 is also an Xbox 360 exclusive that I wish was backwards-compatible.
I was just playing Lost Odyssey! It's pretty good
My only beef with NNN is that it has an unecessary grind for levelling up in later levels for each character.

Lost Oddessy and N3 are some of my favourite childhood memories!❤ I wish I could go back and spend my entire summerbreak playing these games!
My friends and I back in the day used to run 3v3 matches on the outfit demo all the time!! Super underrated game!

Glad you enjoyed the video! I hope you enjoy The Outfit! I didn't even realize that Culdcept didn't come to Pal regions.
The Outfit reminds me a LOT of Freedom Fighters and looks really cool
Culdcept Saga completely flew under my radar back in the day.
I wish ninety nine nights was backwards compatible 😭 one of my favorite games
Lost Odyssey is the goat. Easily one of the best RPG's I've ever played.

Those are great picks! Rumble Roses is at least backwards compatible, but I wish all of the one you listed were.

"FATAL INERTIA"
Yes! This game is sick!
Great Job on this video!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed!
I would love to know your take on the 1000 year dreams sequences on Lost Odyssey.
I honestly really enjoy them. I'm an avid reader so I don't mind reading long passages in games and the writing in the game was surprisingly good. It adds great depth. The animations on the text can be a little silly but I don't think it distracts from the content so much.
Don't lnow if it's exclusive, but i loved iron brigade.
Shame Culdcept Saga did not get a PAL release.
The outfit just needs an update to make the ai move and fight each other in skirmish. Otherwise great game.
Righteous, The Outfit's decent. I'm not familiar with Culdcept Saga. I'll give that a go. I love Ninety-Nine Nights 2, but not fond of the original.

Does anyone know the story as to why?
Does anyone know if Phantasy Star Universe (360 Disc) works on Xbox Series X?
Unfortunately it does not.
@@campxbox noooooo
was Ninja Blade a ex,usive 360 game?
It was a console exclusive. It did get a PC release.
500,000 troops.
Magna Carta 2 is 360 exclusive too, ain't it?
Yeah it is.
Blue Dragon
Yeah that one almost got onto this list. Definitely need to talk about it soon.
Great list mate. Each video you make is awesome and I love this system. Definitely going to check these out. Cheers
Thank you for the nice words! Im glad you enjoy the videos.
Saints row 1 is trapped on the 360?
Yeah and I honestly can't believe that. I didn't realize it was even a 360 exclusive for a long time.
not entirely...still exclusive to Xbox at least, but all the Xbox 360 Saints Row games are backwards compatible on Xbox One & Series X/S so it's not technically trapped on 360
The game that started my Xbox journey, as a kid. 😌
Jansen was such a tool 😂
"The Outfit" and "Ninety Nine Nights " are no hidden gems. Those games are absolutely terrible
I fucking hate Ninety-Nine Nights. I'm not joking, I think you have to have brain damage to like that game. What a frustrating, bullshit and boring slog of a game.
