@@brianrinckenberger6265 That's the power of J-Music ;) Also The Consouls (who turned 7 this year). I think because VGM is supposed to play on a loop but also because of the skill in the arrangements by these brilliant lads.
Let me get my main trombone, Bach model 7 from 1935. I want to play Emmet. Bartley & Gelin are amazing, plus you and your regular band. Love your chords and solos Emmet. Right down my alley, that's music! Played in public for the first time since 2002 During the World Association of Show Bands, WAMSB. I still have it! Pleasure having a bunch of kids more than 3rd my age cheering me on. Best wishes Emmet, Poole, Hall.
Forget double time. Patrick Bartley is managing to actually be the first jazz musician ever to play quadruple time and still weave out of articulations and rhythms that are the cleanest I've ever heard. Absolute Legend😎 P.S. While switching time feels and meter on the drop of a dime! #Stablemates
Hi there... I'm from Japan and am watching this video everyday and I like it and am feel to crazy so excited to take look in the different performances members... I like Waltz for Debby and it was so nice indeed..... key played on F major isn't it
Thanks reply to me, I have noticed you are very friendly and you are not snob at all that’s why I’m very big fan of you, well, I wish I can request to you that I like to listen in the good moody song with vocal and your sweet piano one day if it you get requesting for me.. that is the ‘’ Eu Sei Que Vou Te Amar ‘’ and one more ... hehe pls.. Once I Loved ... thanks! Oops... say hi to Patric I may help him about his study Japanese ... Best regards to you and Mr. Russell Hall... I like his hat ..and Kyle Poole ‘’nice keep in the rhythm ‘’ and thanks joined to Mr. Giveton Gelin pls ..!
WE ARE ALL CONNECTED AS ONE Thank you so much for allowing us as listeners to experience this more and more on 3D level as well...! These sessions should be available on record, I would pay anything to be able to play this on my audiophile set at home
I don't play games but I love listening to J-Music Band covers of VGM - Patrick and his own band do such incredible things with VGM, a lot of which is actually very good music. (Also The Consouls VGM jazz is great.)
Such a great session! Emmet playing out, like Herbie Hancock in Miles' 60s band, or Chick Corea's Now He Sings, Now He Sobs. Giveton and Patrick are owning, too! Russel and Kyle cookin', like always!
I’ve been watching these guys every week since early in the pandemic, and every few weeks they play a song that just knocks me out. Rosalina in the Observatory is one of those tracks.
If you haven't checked out all Patrick's J-Music Band stuff yet you are in for a treat. J-Music Band and The Consouls (they also covered Rosalina's Observatory) are my favourite VGM jazz bands.
@@ShangoJr98 How wonderful that would have been! Those sessions are absolutely incredible - crazy good musicianship and amazing jazz. I'm waiting for Sydney to exit the latest lockdown and hoping for The Consouls to be able to perform live again. I haven't seen them live since 2016 :(
Great Job. Sound excellent. I would like to have you my show . Live with Neve Live with Neve on Facebook and RUclips. Chilling reading a book w you on for the mood . Great stuff.
How does Bartley move from sounding like Cannonball on alto in one cut and sounding like Coltrane on tenor on another cut, while still playing alto the whole time?
Spectacular
That Rosalina's Observatory arrangement was everything in my life that I've been missing, thank you!
It’s incredible, I’ve had it on repeat all week! ❤️

Anything this kid does is golden. His "Waltz for Debby" is beyond exceptional.
I can't believe I'm only now learning about Patrick Bartley. Holy high hand grenades what a sound!!

Hahaha love that Crazy Race ending to Stablemates!!! RIP Roy
The components of these performing souls creates a symbiotic conjoinment that results in a liquid blend to behold.
That's the best I have ever heard in jazz, bravo!!!

Cuartos bates...
Anyone know what Pat quotes at 55:22?
What is the tune name starting at 25:50? cannot recall ))
Stablemates
Stablemates, wonderful song
Stablemates :)
30:30 swings sooo hard my goodness
日本語が上手ですね。
Que gamines...
Trumpet plays wrong too often
Tremendos músicos! un poco dolorosa la mezcla del audio, sobre todo el alto de Bartley que está muuuy fuerte, pero bueno, cosas que pasan.
Can someone tell me what kind of trompet Giveton is playing? It sounds and looks amazing!
