    Great video! Thank you
    Question: if our current channels are public (standard), is there a way to convert them to private channels? I can't seem to find a way to do this unless you originally make make the channel private from the very beginning.

      There unfortunately isn't a way to do this because, when you create a team channel, it does a lot in the background. It creates an email and SharePoint site just for the channel. So you'll have to create a whole new channel and make that private. Then, it will replicate those permissions on the SharePoint site that it creates. -Kaleigh

    Thanks for your email but I couldn't. I have this message "This is not a SharePoint site link. Please paste a link to an existing SharePoint page, list, document library or consider using a different application."

    You skipped over the most important part - getting the SP site to show in Trams to begin with.

      Thanks for sharing your thoughts. All you have to do is add it as a tab in you Team.

    “Go get it lady!!”
    I love to see women in this field! 💗
    I do have a question.
    Groups/teams has the ability to create email addresses. Since your arrangement has the Org, and teams of that org organized underneath as channels, are you able to have an email associated with the channels?

    • @axiomtech3627
      @axiomtech3627  5 месяцев назад

      Great question! Yes, every private channel can have an email address associated with it. All you need to do is click on the three dots to the right of the channel title and click "get email address" It will create one to the specific channel. You can also use the "Advanced settings" to make rules about the email address as well.

    How do you link the Shifts app to SharePoint please? I would like to share a shift pattern to the whole organization?

    • @axiomtech3627
      @axiomtech3627  2 месяца назад +1

      It connects to a Microsoft Team. It does not connect to SharePoint. I would create a Team in Teams that includes your whole organization and then use that Team to create the schedule off of in Shifts. Thanks! -Kaleigh

    • We used to save the stock claim copies into specific customer folders that we manually created, and respective branches have access to pull out the claim copies -
    Please advise on how we can proceed with the on ms teams saving copies, which must be accessible by all of our branches.

      You can do this by creating separate Private Channels for the clients. You can then give each client guest access to the Document Library. -Kaleigh

    How to keep team members from changing files in Team Folders?

    • @axiomtech3627
      @axiomtech3627  3 месяца назад

      You would have to give them limited access to the SharePoint library. You can limit access in the Admin Center. Another thing you can do is change where the files sit to make sure the team members you don't want having access, can't see it. I hope this helps. Thanks -Kaleigh

    SharePoint is already extremely easy to use and access documents. There's no reason to associate a SharePoint site with Teams. The statements in this video are not convincing in the slightest.

      Sharepoint is a mess. Could not make any sense of out it over the span of many days and hours. I think I’m in wrong app as it wants to create some sites and pages when I just need to save the files…
