Happy Thanksgiving👋. We are so blessed by this feast of faith and understanding you have so generously provided your unshaken student body over these past years. Especially your personal after feast sandwiches provided to us to enjoy from your own heart.
I have come to realize how blessed we are in the temple with Joy in our posterity. It seems to be an eternal principle realized, that when your children are doing well, you are also.
When the Lord had returned and blessed, and prayed with the Nephites…He wept in rejoicing that His Joy was Full, for none of them were lost. I am so grateful for this faith and trust that Our Brother, and Savior has in everyone of us…to become and remain His trued sons and daughters❤️😇. We love you Jared…Keep up the good work👍. David

I love this book and soo many good memories with reading it alone and my different family members and friends as I was growing in my learning experience sometimes I marked up many Holy Bible books.

May I share an experience as to how I responded to my brother-in-law when he wanted to contend with me over my faith? Keep in mind that my bil has fought against the church for many years and has published and recorded many anti-Mormon messages.
One night as I was leaving my sisters home my bil stopped me and said “ prove to me that the BOM is true by only using the Bible”. The response I gave came from the Holy Ghost because I had no answer not was I about to contend with him because I knew his motives were not pure. I gave him back his Bible and said “I cannot. The only way YOU can know if the BOM is true is to read it and then pray about it.” He then proceeded to tell me that he was only trying to save my soul because I belonged to a cult ( *yawn*yawn* I thought! How many times have I heard that one before?) and that I was going to burn in HELL!!!
My response astonished me but was borne out of pure testimony that no one can take away from me and I said “if I burn in HELL for reading the BOM then I will GLADLY BURN.”
And with that I left…and he never has since brought up the subject to me.
Michael, that was a great story. I have come to dislike contentions when they are based in hated.
Could you expound in Jude where it says that those men "were for of old ordained to this condemnation" What does he mean by that?
This New Living Translation helped me to make sense of that phrase, maybe it will help you too: “I say this because some ungodly people have wormed their way into your churches, saying that God’s marvelous grace allows us to live immoral lives. The condemnation of such people was recorded long ago, for they have denied our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.”
I take it to mean the way the current people are behaving is just like those of old (whom he goes on to list) and their (old and new people) condemnation is the same.
If they never repent.
