Trying to word this comment through tears and sniffling and being overawed - in the truest sense of the word, awe; as reverential fear and wonderment. This lesson - Part 1 and 2, has taken my breath away. How in the world did I never see these layers of symbolic depth, that have lifted me, humbled me, awed me! How my scriptural understanding has grown under your truly gifted tutelage! This first lesson on The Book of Revelation has been just that - such a revelation! I am going to find it difficult as I wait with bated breath for your next two lessons on The Book of Revelation . I just need to remember to breathe. How do I ever thank you for changing my understanding of scripture beyond recognition. Almost four years have just flown past. Thank you, Brother Halverson, from the very depth of my soul - thank you!

Thank you, thank you for bringing the New Testament to life for me this year! I am eternally grateful for your efforts in sharing the gospel. This message spoke to my heart and truly made my heart swell with awe and gratitude to my Savior and Father in Heaven. Words cannot express. I truly stand all amazed. I hope I can remember this awe always. Words that always confused me before, now leave me with tears in my eyes and complete gratitude in my soul!
My son was diagnosed with cancer shortly after returning home from his mission 3 years ago. It was a shock to my soul in every way, to say the least. We had to travel 45 minutes each way to chemo treatments for 3 months. We used to listen to your podcasts as we traveled and I can't tell you the number of times that I leaned on the Spirit of your words and wisdom to see me through those dark days. He is doing well now, but I still find time to listen to your teachings throughout each week. Thank you! Please know that you make a beautiful difference to so many. Thank you, thank you! What can I say more?

I keep coming back to this lesson because it is beyond beautiful. I do not have the superlatives to express the magnitude of my adoration of chapters 4 & 5, and the manner in which you presented it. I am deep, deep, deeply awe struck, from the images of jasper and sardine to the ten commandments of Jesus found in the JST of Luke. Thank you for leading me deeper into my scripture journey.

I enjoyed it more than ever, having given my personal best performance by far, but after listening to your exceptional teaching performance here, I have such a greater appreciation for what Handel has given us.
I have also participated in many Messiah sing-alongs, and I now see great wisdom in supporing such opportunities as rehearsals for the ultimate Messiah concert! 😮😂 😇 Thank you for making the book of Revelation so relevant to my life!

Brother Jared…the concept of the twenty four elders casting their crowns at the throne of our Father in Heavens throne is such an awesome illustration of the humility and sacred reverence that I seek to incorporate into my own journey here in mortality. This has even influenced the way in which I worship and serve in the Temple…even the faith in which I pray. I am so thankful for your insights into the truth of these Holy scriptures…We love you Jared! It has been so wonderful a blessing to our faith and understanding❤️😇. David

I’d like to thank you for your come follow me series. I had many scriptures classes while at BYU and at church but they always focus on the same stuff and skipped the same stuff. You’ve covered scriptures that no one else has and given me a better understanding because it’s the whole enchilada not just bites of different ingredients within the enchilada. Thank you
I want to share with you something I’ve done and if you like it please pass it on where you can. I’ve been trying to follow Pres Nelson’s council to think and act celestial. Especially with Israel’s problems right now. I’ve been praying for them but wanted to do more. I finally realized I could do more. I could put them on the temple prayer roll. I’ve chosen to put them on as. Israel. IDF. Hostages. And the people of Gaza. I know that we’re to pray for our enemies but I just can’t put Hamas on the prayer roll. Anyway if you like the idea would you share it around Thanks

Aloha Brother Halverson. This lesson has really shaken me up. To realize how important to know our true self. I love the Savior who has always save me from my shortcomings... I live with him and am humble to live the life with the spirit. I will go with the Savior whatever he says. But my husband Paul is still not a member of the church. He has been on board with all the lessons scriptures with you and will not be a member of the church. I always feel sad because I want to be with him for all eternity. I love the gospel and I love the Savior who is always there for us. But we are both in our 80's..In Jan-2024 I will turn
89 yrs young. Paul will be 85 yrs young... We both do the scriptures everyday at 3;00 pm HTime. We both love the scriptures
but something is not right... We love you Brother Halverson. We look forward for the next lesson... Much Aloha the Higa's

Thank you for referencing the vision of President David O. Mckay. You recalled it happened on some boat trip. Respectfully may I add this was not just any boat trip. The vision was framed in the boat trip on the beautiful Samoan seas.
“We sailed all day on the smoothest sea of our entire trip…
Toward evening, the reflection of the afterglow of a beautiful sunset was most splendid. The sky was tinged with pink, and the clouds lingering around the horizon were fringed with various hues of crimson and orange…
Pondering still upon this beautiful scene, I lay in my berth at ten o’clock that night and thought to myself: Charming as it is, it doesn’t stir my soul with emotion as do the innocent lives of children, and the sublime characters of loved ones and friends…
I then fell asleep, and behind in vision…

I go back to your lessons from years ago to recall the rest of what I learned about a certain passage or if seeing a scripture in a new light, I look to see what you have to say and pray about it to gain a deeper understanding of my scriptures. I don't know how to thank you for a life of scripture study that you freely share with those of us who could never amass that knowledge on our own. I felt the Spirit so strong in this lesson. It was SO precious to me. How do I thank you for something that there's no way I could ever thank you for...

If you think about Gods throne directly above the earths true magnetic north, it makes perfect sense that the northern lights, which are mostly emerald green, are literally the light of Jesus Christ. It fascinates me that people are now seeing the northern lights even farther out than where they usually shine (between 60 and 75 degrees latitude). His light is increasing and spreading the more we pray in awe of him and our Heavenly Father and the more we build temples and spread the gospel.

Quite honestly ,that is the most beautiful lesson on Revelation that I have ever been privileged to sit through.
When you brought music into the conversation, I thought my heart would leap out of my chest!
I have this quote recorded in my notes: "The Holy Spirit sees how much difficulty mankind has in loving virtue, and how we prefer the lure of pleasure to the straight and narrow path. What does he do? He adds the grace of music to the truth of doctrine. Charmed by what we hear, we pluck the fruit of the words without realizing it.”
    --St. Basil
"And Can It Be" ---one of my favorite, most tear -jerking pieces of music. I love the music, I love the message.

As I was listening to your commentary about chapters 4 and 5 I thought it was like the council in heaven was like a prophecy of things to come on the earth. Where my mind went was the tribes of Israel and where they were grouped, for travel and battle and around the tabernacle. As I thought about it, I think more, they were doing it just because they were told to do it that way, like when Adam and Eve offered sacrifice not understanding why. The house of Israel stand in the order of heaven, not knowing why, just obeying. Are the things that happen on earth really fulfilling prophecy or just reflecting what we really already knew before? Whispers of heaven peek through the veil, prophets whisper it to us, then we see it like the veil is parted, really just remembering what we knew before creation even happened.

I’ve been confused about the color of jasper stone. Depending on where you look it’s red most of the time because of the iron that is in it
Here’s what Wikipedia says: “Jasper, an aggregate of microgranular quartz and/or cryptocrystalline chalcedony and other mineral phases,[1][2] is an opaque,[3] impure variety of silica, usually red, yellow, brown🎉 or green in color; and rarely blue. 24 seats… if the highest priesthood is shared between husband and wife, that could indicate spouses seated with them.

Dear Brother, be careful how you phrase questions like "do you see what John is trying to tell us?" When you know that John was the faithful witness and recorder, the question must always be "do you see what God was trying to tell John and us? The right question has a much greater chance of giving the right answer. It is a fair question to ask what Paul or Peter meant in their epistles, butJohn was given the revelation; he didn't invent it.

I suggest Bro Halverson means, can you "envision" what John is trying to tell us, that which had been conveyed to him by Jesus Christ. It s matter of hierarchy. Jesus Christ to John to his fellow servants (us).
No one is implying that John hasn't received the revelation or that he invented it, its just that John wants us to "understand" what Jesus Christ revealed to Him and wants the readers not only of the Epistle at the time of writing but to us in a future dispensation.
Let us not forget that Peter, Paul and John received their instruction and teachings not only by personal instruction from the Mortal Messiah but by Revelation from the Resurrected Lord.
Anything that is "revealed", is removing the veil to expose the truth, whether it be in person or from Heaven. They can be the witness and the recorder and still convey to the faithful as though they were speaking on behalf of deity.

      They are the Mormon church
Which is a distant branch of the AshkeNAZI Jews
      The fake Jews of revelation

Jesus created all things, Rev 4:11, but according to Mormonism, Jesus was created in heaven by the Father and a Mother God, how did he create himself, if He is the creator of all things. Jesus Christ is the creator and was never created, He always was. Jesus WAS, and IS, and IS to COME! Rev 4:8, this means Jesus was in the beginning before the foundation of the entire world, NEVER CREATED!!

This religion and ALL RELIGIONS are so very wrong
U try to understand the word of god WITHOUT the holy spirit
And u are led down a dark abyss of confusion
The 24 elders are the 12 prophets of the OT
And the 12 disciples from the NT
    The lamb is NOT christ
The rider on the white horse, is NOT Christ
The one like a son of man to rule all nations - the Lamb on the throne
The male child born to the woman, Eve , in revelation 12
    Is ABEL
    Faithful & True
