I’m a convert to this great work work. My conversion was one of hearing the gospel by a cousin who joined the church and was on a mission when I was in the army. I knew it true right away, also I was given a physical witness. So it was confirmed by the spirit to my heart, mind and soul. This just continues to confirm my beliefs. We were told as missionaries by a visiting 70 in Argentina that the time will come when there will be physical proof of the Book of Mormon. That person was Elder Didier. For those that require physical proof, there it is, the rest is still up to you. And you know what you need to do. Great program.

I can almost guarantee that whatever "evidence" against the Book of Mormon you think you have would be something you've been told and accepted at face value as true but is very likely to emanate from dishonest attempts to smear and sow confusion and contention. Critics that run around commenting on LDS-themed videos are very, very unlikely to have even a rudimentary knowledge of the subject matter they're criticizing, and certainly don't have enough knowledge to understand that they've been lied to by some "they're a cult"-type pastor or other professional that makes a living off of selling lies about the Church and the Book of Mormon. I've seen it over and over again. Believe me, whatever argument you were prepared to share with us would be met with a gigantic eye-roll from most of us because, as I said, we've seen it all before. If you'd actually like to have an honest discussion about the Book of Mormon, I'm sure we could work out a way to do so without having our discussion sprawl out in these comments. I wish you well.

Thank you, sir! I was born and raised as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints here in the Philippines. I had that privilege that most of my friends in the church did not have.
When I started watching this first episode, I was ironing my white shirt in preparation for our priesthood session this afternoon when I said, I don't need evidence to know if the Book of Mormon is true. I have witnessed to myself multiple times the truthfulness of it. But I always have the feeling that I wish I could have the same conversion as my friends did, where they had a full turn in their life that serves as a big testament to themselves that the church is true, that the prophet Joseph Smith is true, and so is the Book of Mormon. My conversion was different. It was not like a big turn of events, but it was more gradual-praying every day, reading scriptures, attending church every Sunday, attending seminary and institute classes, repenting of my sins, obeying commandments, attending the temple, and so on.
I wouldn't deny that I came to a point in my life where I questioned if all these things were true. I grew up in the church and this is the only thing I know to be true. And I wonder if I only believe these things to be true because it is what my parents taught me as they raised me. But I challenged myself to learn for myself. I prayed to God and I received a strong confirmation from the Spirit that all that I believe and know to be true in the church is real and I am not mistaken. And the strong confirmation became stronger as I kept living the restored gospel and the commandments of God. I am grateful that I did that and I have learned for myself.
Yes, I said that I don't need evidence to know if the Book of Mormon is true, but watching this documentary sparked my interest. I've been seeing a lot of content on social media attacking the church. Ex-members vilify and make fun of our beliefs, spreading misinformation from unreliable sources. And this documentary, whether it indirectly proves the Book of Mormon, is better to rely on because the evidence was examined and studied by reliable and professional people. There are records and tangible objects that no way Joseph Smith could have known for himself and used as a reference when he wrote the Book of Mormon. I am really engrossed in this documentary and look forward to watching the other episodes.
So, to all the people who made or are making this, Maraming Salamat po! Thank you very much. I can't imagine the sacrifices and efforts you made just to produce this. I can't express how grateful I am just to watch the first episode.

@@Mustardmanor The Book of Mormon states that Lehi and his crew started traveling in an eastward direction from Nahom. That is, they traveled generally south, apparently following the ancient trade routes, until they reached a place called Nahom. They buried Ishmael, and then started traveling eastward from that time until they reached Bountiful (located on the sea). NHM is situated EXACTLY where the ancient trade routes turn eastward. In other words, if you take only the clues found in the Book of Mormon and pointed to the likely spot on a map, NHM is found at that spot. Also, it's extremely unlikely that Joseph could have known about the existence of NHM because very few maps at the time showed this location. The nearest source anybody's found is a library some 300 miles from where Joseph was living at the time. So, this NHM evidence is pretty compelling. It's not absolute proof, of course. BUT ONE THING WE WILL NOT BE DOING IS TRYING TO DEFINE EXACTLY WHERE CERTAIN book of mormon events MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE TAKEN PLACE. IN FACT, the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints itself has made the following statement. And I read “the church takes no specific position on the geographic location of book of mormon events in the ancient Americas. It seems impossible to make sense to a cult member that is indoctrinated by their parents. but I'll try another time. the Bible teaches us in Isaiah to test your profits. (Alma comes to mind)if one prophecy is incorrect they are a false prophet. Don't be afraid. fleshly bodies are of this Earth, Satan is Lord over this Earth... but didn't you get the burning in your bosom? that burning is from satan who could not possibly be a brother to our only God Yahweh. Yahweh gave you a brain to workout the difference of Satan and false prophets. the reason why you are compelled to say it is a true book is because that is cult tactics. to meet and repeat a set of specific phrases to affirm that what you believe is true. Solid verified evidence absent. do you have to pay any type of money for a blessing? and if you are not receiving a blessing it might be your fault for not paying enough. or having enough faith. this is called blame reversal. These are ways of a cult. I could go on for pages and pages on how the Book of Mormon has no ties to the Bible whatsoever. I just want to shake the Joseph Smith out of you.... and give you a hug, for you have been deceived. your false prophets have known the deception from the beginning and yet they still keep their people under their thumb. the best way to run a cult is to keep the cult members all happy feeling good about their false testimony. it's not easy to get out, but as Mr. Neilson said "just believe " you can get out and make the change.put out this fire in your chest, it's smoking , hard to see the cliff your about to tumble off. life will become hazy stepping into reality. Shake off the blinders of mormoism and things will make sense logically and spiritually. I am a Mormon member but, without the churchI have been born again and you can be born again too.

It wasn’t until I received my own personal witness of the truthfulness of this beautiful, second witness of Jesus Christ, that I realized the book of Mormon was indeed abook event antiquity. I have a strong testimony of The Book of Mormon. I love it more than any other book of scripture. It doesn't need something as mundane as scientific proof. And whether you follow the Heartland theory or the Central American theory, NEITHER has anything to do with our salvation. It's fun to look at the scientific evidence, but ultimately, none of it matters. It's your testimony that counts, and you can get that by following the promise Moroni made in Chapter 10:3-5.

Love the global review of evidence. They do give credibility to the Book of Mormon that Joseph could not have guessed on so many elements that can be found to be valid that weren't known in his time. But also it is a history of a people that have a living posterity today. At some point it will need to be known who they are as that is one of the primary purposes of the book...to teach them directly...not indirectly. Whoever the descendants are...their ancestors are laboring on the other side of the veil to encourage us to uncover that stone. It may not be for decades yet to come but all of the evidences north and south America are types of genealogy and will one day connect the dots for their ancestors and their stories and their dealings with Christ
