@Batocera Nation, how can I send you the TeknoParrot files that I acquired from the BatoceraPLUS team? Im hoping that you can then relay those TeknoParrot files over to the Batocera dev who is looking into TeknoParrot. Im not sure if they already obtained these files or not...but it may remedy some of the wine versioning issues? Either way, thank you so much for the update! I really appreciate it. Perhaps the Batocera Devs can just get TeknoParrot working with one version of Wine and we in the community can just figure out which games work or not...at least itll be something. Thank you as always my friend! :)

I updated the just batocera on one of those kinhank drives and after the updates it’s not running correctly freezing on boot and freezes when connecting a blue tooth controller

How do you launch obs studio to stream the old games? I only get the exit option instead of close tab. If you could do a video on this it would be great.

You guys should make a terminal accessible (really) because I recently figured out you can do switch emulation with just any PC with an Intel 4th gen 2200 and above and maybe even blower with the use of kisak Mesa driver I'm being serious. You guys should also think about cloud saves you already have online mode so cloud saving would be really cool 😎 and I also have an idea for cloud saves. It will download the entire game you had stored on batocera which means it will also download your save data

How do I install Streets of rage remake for Batocera in Raspberry Pi?
I went up to Batocera 35 due to the Neo Geo upgrades but it ended up stopping my games from loading. Fortunately, I have a backup and they work again although it is v33. I don't do many advanced things so I just need my Nintendo, Sega ad Neo Geo working.
Might need new Bios files. By the end of the week will be doing a video on Batocera 35. Will share where to find them.
I have no issues with neogeo after updating to Batocera v35

I have batocera installed on a internal hard drive on a Lenovo m73 tiny. No matter what i do when i power down batocera it just keeps re starting. It will not shut down and it's making me mad. Any ideas how to fix it?
This is PC bios related.
So try this and let me know if it works.
Go into your PC bios setting/Power Management/Turn Wake on Lan off as its prob set to on by default.
Edit: Remember to save changes before exit or itll revert back to on.

i got egs to work on batocera through lutris on flathub beta, but it was rly weird with controllers sometimes
Hi Koolaid! Thanks for your input! I was trying to get Epic Games Launcher to work via Flatpak. It didn't work. Until I saw your post, it never occurred to me to install it via Windows. I got it up and running. I'm wondering, did you get Fortnite to work? I'm getting a Wine error. Thanks again for your comment. I plan to feature it when I do my EGL tutorial.
I did not try fortnite but i did try enter the gungeon, tetris effect, and overcooked 1. tetris effect had a weird window problem ig bc it doesn’t start in fullscreen. and the controllers acted weird in all the games. is it only with fortnite? i don’t think fortnite works on linux at all bc of anti cheat
in my opinion tho, heroic games launcher would be the best one to get working bc it allows customizing graphics settings per game and i just find it easier to use. plus you don’t have to have epic games launch beige starting game. it also supports GoG
After playing with it, most of the games are not working. Only a few are working.
Unfortunately, Heroic Games Launcher doesn't even launch. Bottles has several game stores in its installers. I'm still hoping that the developer of Bottles can fix our problem. I think it will be our best bet. But tomorrow I will reach out to the developers of Heroic Games Launcher to see what they can do.

Batocera is not an emulator, its a front end, you wil need to wait for the emulator to be inserted into Batocera by the Team.
No Vita emulator on Batocera yet.

Its not exactly a front end either. Its an OS in itself.
It uses Emulation Station as its front end 😊

I have a question: i installed batocera on a raspberry pi but i cannot play any playstation 2 games despite of putting ps2 roms. I also checked that there is no pcsx2 on the application (when you check the file manager). How can we fix this? And is there a way that we can connect a Bluetooth speaker on this OS?
Raspberry Pi CAN'T do PS2. It's not powerful enough. Only PCx64 computers can handle PS2.

Do you have the correct rom set for the game? Try downloading the gameset that I included in the Cave tutorial (link found in the video description).
(Edit) I just had a corrupted usb It works first try now. But looking inot skyline might be something cool (switch emulator )
Colecovision, wonderswan and wsc are easy.
Simply drop your roms into the appropriate folders for those, make sure they have the correct extensions (see the info txt inside the folders).
They work zipped or unzipped.
For neogeo cd also drop your roms in correct extension into the neogeocd folder.
Not zipped. Recommend chd format for best compression saving you storage space.
Select the advanced system option and for emu choice use the libretro neocd core.
You may also need bios files for neogeo cd system, put those in the bios folder.
Switch emulation isnt officially supported by Batocera but BN has some vids on using yuzu for Batocera, have a look at those.

Sometimes it’s best NOT to update. Last time I did, screwed up the script
I don't why for some it messes things up. I suspect that a newer hardware, this may not be the case.
This is why I also test new versions on a test build before updating my main system.
Has anyone had success running TMNT Shredder Revenge on Batocera?
Yes works fine. I am using a surplus Dell Optiplex 3040 running Batocera V34. It Installs easily once you get Steam setup on Batocera.
