      My fav...but definitely not gentle on those inner thighs, LOL! Would love to see when you try it out. Let me know how it goes!

    Cupid is my absolute nemesis😢 it was easier to get my iron x than cupid! Last entry looks painfully twisty😅

    • @Elizabeth_BFit

      We ALL have a nemesis move and it's not always the moves that are considered "hard" to others. Mine is laybacks....hate 'em! But I still do them from time to time because sometimes there is a move or transition that works best from a layback. I'd recommend you at least 'touch' on your cupid, maybe just one on each side, every time you train. Just so that it's there'ish should you need to briefly pass thru it for a combo or transition. Working in cupid crunches is also a great way to get more comfy with a cupid without ever leaving the ground...one foot on the ground.

    Excellent !!!! Thanx Elizabeth 👏🤩
    Always a pleasure to sée your ideas and Demos !
    And for another entrance possibility, I was training today from a Pendulum (kind of star with a leg behind the pole and grip under the opposite arm) to Cupid.
    I am not comfortable yet in this combo but it will bé easy for you !

    In my studio, we call that last transition superpain lol. I only have my Cupid on one side and I typically get into it from a step through (like 5, but instead of hooking my knee over my hands, I pull it through and readjust my foot)

    • @Elizabeth_BFit
      @Elizabeth_BFit  Год назад

      Yeah, that last one is not the most pleasant on the thighs is it?! Lol! We all have a fav side but with the exception of injury or handicap, be sure to at least touch on that other side. Even if it's just briefly passing thru it. As we work thru advanced combos things switch sides throughout so good to be at least familiar-ish on that other side too.

      @@Elizabeth_BFit I almost got it on my b side a couple of days ago! 😸

    I can only go into the Cupid from the Outside leg hang. I think my problem is I don't have enough strength in my arms to hold myself up and move around, which other entries require. Do you have any suggestions to improve arm strength, Elizabeth?

    • @OAPoler-kv1vw
      @OAPoler-kv1vw Год назад

      I'll give the outside leg hang entry to cupid a try. My problem is hip flexibility.

    • @Elizabeth_BFit
      @Elizabeth_BFit  Год назад +1

      The outside leg hang entrance is my favorite too! Can you do that entrance on both sides? Arm strength comes with training time. We all build and develop strength at our own rate. You got this, be patient with yourself and celebrate all the things you have already accomplished!

    • @Elizabeth_BFit
      @Elizabeth_BFit  Год назад +1

      Hip flexibility can definitely be a challenge but it doesn't make it impossible. I'd recommend working your cupid crunches from the floor to help work on your active hip flexibility and strength from the ground.

      @@Elizabeth_BFit Thanks for the advice.

      @@Elizabeth_BFit Thank you for your encouragement. I can do it from both sides, and in recent classes I started to be able to go into the Cupid from the climb as well. I know it takes time but I've been training for one year now and my arms seem weak still. It's really frustrating 😭.
