Hey Paul, thank u so much for this video. Just finished my mirror switch and changed the cup holder(not) to a cubby for my cell phone. Sooo easy !! I am in central Oklahoma.
This video was perfect. I just had to be a little careful because my wiring for the towing mode switch is on the console too and was still attached. But it was pretty easy if I just took it easy. Took about 40 min from start to finish
Wow thank you! Do you know how to fix the center console door switch? All of my switches work and my doors lock by the key fob so I know the vacuum locks work so my switch is faulty
Thanks Paul! Replaced my mirror switch but now my car won't start. Just clicks when key is turned on, nothing in start mode. I have soldered the connections on RCM and cleaned relays. Car was running great. Could I have done something removing/replacing console?
I still cant figure out how to detach the switch from the upper console. There doesn't seem to be anyway to release it. Anyone with success please let me know how you did it without breaking anything
@@ittybitty7981 the retainers on the side of the switch would not budge. I messed with it for a half hour and gave up. I didnt want to risk breaking whatever was holding the switch in place

Typo *my convertible top switch is also in the console.

Literally just a brisk push from the top side and tug from the bottom and mine popped right out
