- This video lays out my goals for the National convention in Cleveland. Looking forward to connecting with fellow collectors and picking up some awesome stuff. Maybe get a big card with trades, fill out a bunch of team sets (need a ton from 77-79 and completing a bunch of others from 55-75), and looking for fun rare things. #vintagebaseballcards #sportscards #vintagebaseball #thenational #nscc2024 #baseballcards

Great goals! I only go to the Chicago one since I live 20 miles away but it is always enjoyable. Signings are my favorite time and Eck is great.
I wish I was going this year. Probably next year if possible for me. That ticket will be amazing with both signatures!

Mark, I love this video cause we have some of the same goals, but unlike you, I'll be staying in California. I hope you get the 49 Bowman Jackie. Please let us know what the prices are like. I am very curious. I probably can't swing a deal until The National next year but I am curious to see what you find. Same with the 1915 Cracker Jack. Let us know what you see. I need the cards you already own (Wheat, Miler and Hummel). I have the other three guys.
One more thing... I have found at the national I go in with a specific plan and then I see all kinds of things that I wasn't planning for .. hopefully you can stick to your plan..lol
Perhaps MLB Hall of Famers who played for the Dodgers in the twilight of their illustrious career (like Frank Robinson, Juan Marichal, Gary Carter) might be a nice addition to your Dodger card collection.
