I game the XC-4 S in a 10* TSR3. High straight bombs!! TP-6 in my 3-wood and a DI-7 in my 5-wood. All perform flawlessly. Couldn’t be happier. I put Ventus Red and Blues of all different types in all 3, and I’ll take my GD shafts any day over the Fuji’s.
I game the AD DI 6x in my driver. I feel like I can manipulate the right to left spin better and more consistently. I play the tour AD VR 8x in my 3 wood and absolutely love the feel. It is very consistent.
Good afternoon, I currently play a TSI2 driver My swing speed is 98 miles an hour The shaft in my driver is the Tensei Blue AV SFW 55 gram stiff. Currently when I swing my driver, I am UNABLE to FEEL the head load in the shaft. I am looking for a shaft that would help me have a better feeling of the head loading. I have done extensive research on graphite design shafts, but not any other manufacture What do you suggest?
Great breakdown of the various GD offerings. AD-DI is the only one I have tried and it was not a good fit for me. Launched lower for me like it did for Jeremy.
Good explanation but I would have liked to see the results of the accuracy of shots with each shaft. It’s ok to look at which one you hit the longest but not if your missing fairways for the sake of a few extra yards.
Hey guys, I really like the video and it kind of changed my mind on what to go with. I have a quick tempo swing. Which of the Graphite Design shafts would be best for that to get a higher launch. I have a Fuji Pro 2.0 7x that I was fit into but am not in love with.
@@THPGOLF I suppose I could’ve had that in there. The last time I was in a simulator I averaged about 110 swing speed and about 160ish ball speed and getting high 2,000-low 3,000 spin. Launch with the Pro 2.0 was at 8.5-10. I hit an IZ and a DI (in a different club head with the same loft) they both were lower spinning and launched better but almost too high. Both were low-mid 2,000 spin and high 12 launch. Is that starting to launch too high? I liked the way they both felt in the swing, always could feel where the club head was relative to my hands and felt more attached I guess would be a good word for it.
We have a lot coming up. We have done a number of individual shaft reviews such as Kinetixx, PX, KBS, etc throughout the channel though. Check them out.
That was not included in the test because it arrived late. The TP has mid stiffness from the handle through the midsection and then gets pretty firm in the tip. Numbers for us were quite similar with it to the new AD HD that is in this lineup.
One can see the swings in many of our videos, however with 8 shafts and data on all them, speeding through the swings seemed like the right choice. Those on our website and forum seem to enjoy this quite a bit.
I understand that these are great shafts but they are exorbitantly overpriced. There are many others that will perform the same for a fraction of the price.
That stat line for the iz is why I play it. Good ball speed, highest peak height, steepest descent angle, but still longest.

Wow! More of this content please! Had been looking for a breakdown like this. Great stuff Jeremy, James and JB
Great comparison table. A shot dispersion for each shaft would make this vdo perfect.

Looking at results, other than feel, colour and price is the main factor..
Any comparison to YS6+ shaft. Which one of these would like up similarly to the YS6+. I played YS6+ years ago and it was a good fit for me. Thanks.
I absolutely love this presentation on a rather diverse lineup of shafts. Well done gentlemen!
Thank you. Lots of shafts and info in this one

Correction for everyone the HD is firm handle, firm mid and firm + tip. Thanks for the comparison video tho

Completely player dependent.

Speed dependent but perhaps the VR would help you here. Another option is jumping loft on driver by a degree

This is great but what was best for dispersion?
Dispersion was similar actually. It will be player dependent and fit however, based on how well a shaft fits your swing.
No BB?
Why you didn’t include the GP series?
No reason other than they were not on hand. We have some more Graphite Design stuff coming up soon on the website.
What's the CPM of each shaft?
Very nice breakdown. What I didn't see what dispersion. Did the dispersion also correlate to the same two longer carry shafts for Jeremy?
Dispersion was 5-7 yards on center for each. It was similar across the board.
You got a subscriber. Can you go other brands like VA . The tensei line ?

What about the TP? I’ve been playing this shaft for 3 years now. Great shaft for me!

VANQUISH ALL RIVALS AND INTO THE ZONE are the best
Big mistake with this was that we were unable to see the testers swing!
