Yea I'm another long time subscriber. Told him a while back I was glad he was finally getting the recognition he deserves because he's been on boobtuber a lot longer than people realize but at the same time he did a 180 and I'm almost certain the Shadetree from just five years ago would kick him in his shin.
I'm on a tight budget but Forgotten Angels is the one organization I donate to. I really feel for those young people.

Shadetree; I have been through some major changes in my personal life over the past 5 to 10 years. I have lost many "friends" as a result. They don't like how "you are so different now, you aren't the same person." Truth is, I am not. I used to allow everyone to roll over me all the time. Now I don't. I used to be prone to trying to make everybody happy much to my own exhaustion and detriment. I realize that, if I don't take care of me, no one else will. Those that count will stick with you. Those that matter will encourage your growth and support you through the changes. Shake off the rest that cling to the old you--a tree that stops growing is a tree that has begun to die.
I appreciate how you have evolved as a person and what you said about that really resonated with me. We should always strive to be better and not settle with who we are or regress.

You shouldn't worry about trolls. You talk all the time about making a difference for the kids of forgotten angels. Your videos honestly make a difference to a lot of people. I personally have been through a lot of crap over the past couple years and yours and the rest of the brapstar crews videos really help. I know it seems weird to say that about RUclips videos. But that little bit of entertainment helps. believe me.
Back when you had Barf Party going and were riding it all the time I remember you got that comment a lot. I've always found it funny because I subbed for the Chopper road trip, stayed for the Rocket Three and Harley content, and won't leave because I like bikes and the videos and how you carry yourself. You've changed a lot from when I started watching, and grown so much. And it's pretty great to see 😊 I'm proud of you man.
Personally, I like all the variety of bikes you are working on these days. For me, your channel has been better than ever when you do all the variety and repairs, upgrades, and maintenance. Keep it up

Being angry i find just affects you a lot more than the person you're actually angry at so its like they win twice. Its a journey to learn that most of that is a waste if energy
Been around since your chopper build and love everything you all do for FA. Without you I wouldn't be back in the wind. As far as road rage I gave that up many years ago driving truck in Las Vegas on the strip dealing with cab drivers and people from all over the world trying to drive like they was at home. One day I figured out that here I was upset with road rage and they was already having a beer or a cub of coffee. So I decided that why should I let them keep me upset. Nope I don't give anyone that power. Just keep doing what you for fantastic. That was 40 years ago I gave the road rage up.
Your channel has changed a little bit over the years but I've just progressed with you you're a cool dude bro you haven't changed your circumstances changed so have mine sometimes people have a hard time accepting that but you got damn near 300,000 subscribers people love you bro I know I do and I look forward to every one of your videos honestly you're my absolute favorite on RUclips I'm going through changes now I've been a bit obnoxious but you're always nice to me thanks brother
My Harley simping is what made me find your channel, and your videos have since introduced me to a bunch of bikes I had blindly paid no attention to. My Dad, who I planned on learning all things motorbikes from crashed and died on his Harley a few years back and my knowledge isn't what I wish it was, so I appreciate you sharing your experiences.
I've watched nearly every video since lockdown (missed a couple of the friday ones just due to timing), and I don't recall hearing much about the state of Barf Party. Glad to see an update on that, though!
As for the rest, man, keep doing what you're doing. It's all good.
Personal experience, the windshield makes a massive difference with the wind. If you pull the shield during this wet windy season, it’ll handle a lot better. Trailing angle is another thing forgot about when lifting or lowering parts that affects handling…..sometimes it’s unavoidable though.
Keep killing it. Never get tired of your content.
I don't remember when I started watching the channel, within the last year or so, but I've been watching every upload since then man. My favorite motorcycle stuff, good to sit back at the end of a long day at work with a beer and watch you ride cool bikes and raise attention for charity. If you swapped to ebikes or decided to only do Harley content I wouldn't care, I'd still watch!

Fastest factory bikes with Sportster engines are the Buells ❤ X1 etc. are 101hp at crank, XB12 are 103hp at crank vs. XR1200 91hp at crank. The Buells are also way lighter 😊
If my heart isn't in a project or I'm lacking time, no sense in trying to plow through. The kids being put first is also more important, so good for you.

I love your content Josh. Especially the videos you made when you came to Portland. Because that's where I live and you came to Benchmade Knives. Not only did I used to work there like 20 years ago, but I live in Oregon City, so you rode down my road. Me and my wife watched all the cross country videos from Portland. But obviously I love all your videos. I want to start a channel as well because i travel a lot on my bikes and do a lot of stuff I shouldn't on my bikes, but I have no idea what to say when I ride. You have a way with words that keep this entertaining and make us, the bike community love your content. Don't let a few comments ruin your day. You're a gift to youtube bike community. Do you and never apologize for anything. Or let it get to you.

I rode through a thunderstorm over the weekend, on purpose. It's not too bad as long as you have good gear. The crosswinds proved to be a bit much for my 1200NS however. I mean, I still kept riding but it was a little hairy there for a bit. My rain sock gave up too, and the EVO started to sputter a bit, lol.

I just started watching great dynamics on. This channel. He rides them all. And works on them and a love interest very entertaining.
Ride in the left third of the lane and command control of YOUR lane. Riding in the right third of the lane leaves two thirds of the lane empty and INVITES a car driver Into your lane because they can’t see you.
In my parts we call that weather a "sucker hole" cause some sucker, usually me will see a hole in the clouds and say "It'll be fine...."

I have to agree with you..... You have worked on all kinds of bikes. I personally have had 2 hondas and a Kawasaki, and my current ride is a 98 Honda Shadow Aero bagger, love the reliability and comfort. Now, would I like to win the FXR sure... I have room for 1 more bike. But it ain't what you ride, just that you ride.

That's what made me really like your channel Josh is that you have such a wide variety of bikes you are truly all about person likes bike that's a great thing and that's what it's about I agree with you 100% because I'm not a big Harley person myself but at the same time I have learned a lot about them from watching your channel and I can appreciate them for what they are I don't hate them as much as I used to do it all i would own one now.

Two wheels are two wheels man. Sometimes I miss my old 250 Nighthawk. It's dirt simple, costs nothing to ride, and it's great for bumbling around town.

It's truly a small world since I discovered you while watching a home girl, so to speak, doing her thing and had you in her video. She would be "Her Two wheels." I haven't had the pleasure of meeting her, but we ride some of the same roads here as we live in the same town. She comes into the local Harley shop right down the road from me. What is worse than smashing your thumb is smashing it then few minutes later folding it over breaking it doing a brake job then having to get the brakes back together so you can get to the hospital.
Anger isn't the issue, it's how you deal with anger. Take Forgoten Angels, kids being explioted then disgarded is angering but what you're doing with that anger is a really good thing. So use the 20min rule, If you've got 20min left on the planet is what's angering you worth that 20min? Also everything I said is easier said than done but can be done. I enjoy watching everything you do 😁

"It's coming but the raffle comes first right now." This one line is how I know your heart is in the right place. Anyone else would want their bike first. But shadetree isn't. That's why I don't feel bad about spending a little of my money on raffle tickets.
Maybe you can put the parts you're taking off, in the saddlebag, just in case the next person wants to modify it & it might need those parts in doing so, like putting ape hangers back on it.

I started my Police Motor career on a FXP. I hated that thing in cone courses. It did run like a scalded dog.
