Thanks gents, great conversation. Brought back a ton of memories from my childhood of the 70’s. FYI Point 6 is out of Steamboat CO. I was an ambassador for a year. Excellent stuff!
Thoroughly enjoyed the conversation with you two, so interesting to hear personal stories. It was nice of you guys to hear you giving props to Ken Block knowing this was recorded before the tragedy that took him away from us. So sad.
This podcast literally has touched on every single issue I believe is in important in today's society as an American. We all need to start being more involved with the future of our nation.
These in-person, face to face pods are my favourite. You and Mike are both great to listen to. Cheers lads, hope to see more of this style going forward!
Mike is wearing shoes so you know it's a momentous occasion...or cold. Thanks for this collaboration. And yes, I miss buying caps at K-Mart. As for socks, there are a couple of manufacturers in NC who do stuff for team sports. Whether they're set up for heavy duty stuff I don't know.
I remember when I was a kid we played with bags of broken glass & flame throwers...& those of us who survived are mostly OK....well, I mean most of us aren't OK. I'm realizing now that not everything we did was better than what's happening today.
At the University of Montana they had a course called Soldiers Story Retold. It was a 3 hour a week talk with combat veterans. It ranged from WW2 vets to Desert Storm, even a German POW who was sent to Montana to be held. It was a great influence in my ideas of what a veteran is.
Great Ep- love the 80’s TV, Movie, Book stuff--we all clearly grew up differently than today’s youth-but there is hope and I see it everyday. My son has been training hard for 18X and his training buddy is going Option 40 in July. My former junior 18B and I have been training them to standard from our day, so they will be hard as woodpecker lips compared to their peers🇺🇸🤙🏼

Great podcast. I met Mike FTF at the Sig Sauer Camp Legion last year in August. So down to earth person who did so much in defense of our country. I was so impressed I gave him one of my challenge coins I had made up from my meager time in the Army. As for audio books. It's the only was I can do a book. If I try to physically read one, it would take for ever. I would read several pages, fall asleep, then wake up and do it again. It's just me and not the author or subject matter.
