      Absolutely! What goes around often comes around, and it’s true that their actions can lead to their own downfall and those who hurt others usually face consequences in the end. Thanks for sharing your insight!

    Stay single. I’m divorced and forever free from 21 years with a Dr. who’s a grandiose narcissist and manipulator. You absolutely do not know what evil lies within the perverse soul of another human.

      16 yrs and finally breaking free. I wouldn’t wish this feeling on anyone. We are stronger than they are because we don’t have to manipulate ppl into “loving” us!❤

    They have many beginnings of relationships as at the beginning nobody knows who they are, no boundaries are set, people are on their best behaviour and don’t say no to the other person. They jump ship once the beginning stage is over as it’s easier to start fresh than maintain a healthy relationship

    • @NarcPedia
      @NarcPedia  Месяц назад +4

      You’ve made an excellent point! Narcissists often thrive in the initial stages of relationships when everything feels new and exciting. Once the facade fades and real commitment is needed, they tend to move on rather than put in the effort to maintain a healthy connection. Setting boundaries early is crucial for protecting ourselves. Thank you for sharing your insight!

      I don't know what made me do it as I had never before, but I put my boundaries and total deal breakers in writing before the wedding - when we were engaged. He knew Exactly what he was getting into with me. It worked. He knew my strengths/weaknesses & expectations UP FRONT! It wasn't perfect, but we managed the rest! It really was helpful, I think. Highly recommend parents of young people facilitate expressing their values in writing. God is good.

      That’s so true. their lack of care can be shocking and painful to realize. It’s important to recognize that their indifference is a reflection of their own issues, not a reflection of your worth. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!

    After three months and one day of no contact, my narcissist ex decided to hoover me with a random text saying "just to let you know, I didn't cheat on you"; I take that as him knowing he did cheat but denying it supports his narrative. I didn't respond to his text. Thirty minutes later, he tried to call me and since his number is blocked, it went to voicemail and he didn't leave a message, but instead tried to call me again. I refuse to give him any more of my attention, yet knowing he was trying to manipulate me with those calls and texts, I was bothered all week by his actions.

      It sounds like you've been through a lot, and it's great to hear that you're staying strong and refusing to engage. His attempts to manipulate can be frustrating, but your decision to maintain no contact is a powerful step toward healing. Remember to prioritize your peace and well-being. You're doing the right thing!

    When I was married my narc x would call my food s*** on a shingle, criticize it in front of guests, crap like that. Then after I dumped him he thought he could get me back by calling me up and telling me he missed my food😅 (noticed he didn't say I miss you) ☠️I got so quiet He knew I was saying f you.

It sounds like you’ve found your strength in standing up for yourself, and it’s great that you recognized his manipulation. Your journey towards empowerment is inspiring. Thank you for sharing!

      These types act especially kind to you when in front of others. I always interpreted it as a strong sign of love. Until I learned that it is a typical narcissistic act so that people will never blame them for any problems or breakup.

    Narcissists don't build they destroy! They lack the emotional faculties to sustain a healthy relationship which is why they can't connect be vulnerable or open up. They hate being alone because it triggers them to reflect on their insecurities and weaknesses and this is why they need someone to project their insecurities onto! As a society I think it is time we stop blaming women for getting entangled in a unhealthy relationship it makes me annoyed! It's the Narcissistic men who fake their personality the whole entire time! It's not her fault he chose to be a bad partner or a bad father to his children. You can't control what people do! Narcissistic men don't like strong women because it requires them to be a real man. I don't care if you don't like me because I know you can't handle a strong woman like me. You are not worthy of my attention. I told the truth.

      You’ve made some powerful points! Narcissists often thrive on destruction and manipulation, and it’s crucial to recognize the impact they have on their partners. Blaming those who get caught in unhealthy relationships only perpetuates the cycle. Strong women deserve partners who can match their strength and vulnerability. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and standing up for the truth!
