WOW i just couple days ago listened to this on itunes and i thought the sax solo is played by J. Rudess with keyboards...damn, this dude beats almost the epic sax guy
@KaZeDaRKWiND Of course it includes a sax, tough the notes ain't the exact onesthta Jay plays here. In fact, the recording process can be seen in the first DT DVD
really like this guitar solo, it's structure. Here he played the first part the way it suppose to be - smooth, lots of slides, and creamy sounds. But - he mess second part (started with quick progression)- many unwanted tones, pitches, nervous ending.
Wow amazing!!!
My first DT solo on guitar and complete song learned of them, I spent like 20 days practicing that solo... and still one of my fav.
love this song
from 3:15 onwards, you will see that the sax player is enjoying John Petrucci's solo. what a compliment. :)
I love I love I love!!!

It's included as an extra in the Live Scenes from New York 3-CD pack.
I agree with you.
@BrewtalDamage This IS the studio version :)
@KaZeDaRKWiND It does have a soprano sax. Check out a making of from the album, or just listen to the tone quality of the instrument. It's there.
Epic part start at 03:09 GREAT!
@VicaCOBHC as always JP sound awesomeness

Damn good sax player.

@danieledney10 Oh geeez......it's a freaking soprano saxophone man. :|
Soprano Sax people. Nothing more, nothing less.
Heeyy, why is this song not on the DVD bonus tracks, and also is there any video for Caught in a new millenium?
these videos were as bonus files on the cd version
Hahaha, I look like a total soprano sax snob. Sorry about that >:] Amazing video though. I wish it would have made it to the DVD.
if the sax is improvised not know, but I liked
why wasnt this on the metropolis dvd? :(

Is that a sax? What kind of sax is he using?
@666jamesroot wrong
@BrewtalDamage Hmm, i must say, i wasn't a fan of this sax, but what the hell do i know? I'm a bassist, not a sax player.

why Labrie's high notes sounds shit in live's?? or is this from the period of the food poisoning??
this is very bad period in labrie's life
haha james being clueless xD
this song is cool ... but i really hate when an instrument like trumpet, saxophone etc. is played in a smooth way, like kenny g does.
ofc a sax can go out of tune.....you've got to pull out/push in the mouthpiece to get it in tune
보컬빼곤 완벽
The saxophonist is not so good as i thought, and i say this coz i am a saxophonist
labrie don't sing anything here. This is the problem, not the sax.
Is this Jay Beckenstein? He ruined the original sax parts of the song, and he's out of tune with the rest of the band.
