I really like The Silent Man, but I think some of the song gets "worse" with Portnoys drumparts... I prefer to hear this one whole acoustic... butt well it's good anyway^^
Petrucci's guitar has acoustic piezo pickups in it, so it can sound like an acoustic, or he can use the regular pickups for the normal electric guitar sound.

I always loved the fact that their live versions of their songs always seem to sound even better than their studio versions.
@WhiteDeath Nah, it's not a mistake, it's a sound effect that appears also on the CD. Myung isn't playing that note.
