One of those metal magazines from the 90s...Metal Edge or whatever...named this solo the #1 solo of the year. I never really understood it at the time but the more I listened to this song, I got the same feeling you did. Gives me chills. Combined with this song being about John P's dad passing away from cancer definitely gives it more feeling.

The song was written to be accessible, and was presented with radio, single and video releases. Another Day does build up to a crescendo, though it never becomes heavy, instead going into a soprano sax solo by Beckenstein.

I was preparing for my class 10 board exams and I used to study a lot. I used to do maths during the day time and take a break and listen to this song again and again repeatedly and it used to boost me to study more. I passed my exams with a good marks and till this day this song still gives me the same good vibes. I will always appreciate Dream Theater's music. Love them.

Did he have an "ischemic" stroke, caused by blood clot, or hemorrhagic (bleeding?) A bleed is more often fatal if not caught and fixed in time. I had a "bleed in 2003 and thankfully my brother heard me falling out of bed when I tried to shut off my alarm clock and called 911. The EMTs from the crew recognized what was happening and rushed me to the nearest designated stroke center.The neurosurgeon on duty had an MRI done and started in on what would be the 1st of 3 "craniotomies" in the next 2 days.

Did he have an "ischemic" stroke, caused by blood clot, or hemorrhagic (bleeding?) A bleed is more often fatal if not caught and fixed in time. I had a "bleed in 2003 and thankfully my brother heard me falling out of bed when I tried to shut off my alarm clock and called 911. The EMTs from the crew recognized what was happening and rushed me to the nearest designated stroke center.The neurosurgeon on duty had an MRI done and started in on what would be the 1st of 3 "craniotomies" in the next 2 days.
