Because it saws zero as speed when the car is on the move. The rpm displays okay when i am acelerariting the car. Any ideas please?

I'm not 100% sure but It's possible that certain clusters may need to be reprogrammed to match the vin number of the vehicle.
What if you want to replace it? Does the milage changes on new one ?
Depending on the model, the mileage could be stored in this cluster or in the car's ECU so the mileage might change with the new cluster.

I'm not sure. You would have to find and check the part numbers of both units
