Hi! I've installed the new display, but when I turn on the key, the display it becomes all red. No words, no images, nothing. Just red. Do you know what's the issue here?

I have a slightly different problem with mine - it works perfectly in cold weather and when the car is not warmed up, but when warm, it gets very dim, in hot summer I can't see anything. I read somewhere that the glue that keeps the cable in place is at fault, so no need to buy a new screen, just have to fix the connnection. Have you had experience with this? Thanks
Hi, for which model? it seems like the chip on the cable is defective or the screen itself. Normally a new lcd will solve it.
@@pixelfehlerhamburg9956 it's IMMO3 Full FIS (VDO I think but not sure). I was also told by another specialist that it might be the chip, so I guess will replace the screen altogether.

Hi T4 is a problem. Unfortunately there is a small hybrid pcb at the back side. When this is defective you can just change the whole instrument

Yes we do. But there are different screens inside. We have know how many contacts they have. Good if you can send us a picture
thank you for the video, I have a problem with my instrument cluster of my Golf IV TDI 110 hp 1J1 engine from 98, when I put the ignition key with all the lights on, I hear a noise, like a noise relay and when I start the engine, initially the tachometer needle remains in the rest position and when the relay noise stops, the tachometer needle gives the correct idle value.
I think it's a problem with the motor that controls the needle.
I would like to have your opinion and if we can find this little engine.

Hello, thank you for your answer, no I have not yet dismantled the instrument cluster to check the number of the small engine, at home and on your video your engine is 91 255 008 maintained by two lugs.
There is another number 91255 002 maintained on the print probably via screws, motor available on Aliexpress: screw fixing?

Hello, I removed the instrument cluster from my Golf IV TDI 110 hp AHF engine year 99 to change the tachometer needle and fuel indicator motors.
I followed your recommendations to power the instrument cluster, Pin1 and Pin23 positive and Pin31 negative.
Nothing works, the handset is not powered and I checked well, my connections are on the Pins you indicated in the video, is the mass correct, on another video I saw that the pins 7 and 24 were ground.
Could you help me please, could you give me the electrical plan provided by Elsawin?
Hello, we made a pin setting update. It´s also mentioned in the video! Sorry for that. PIN 1 & 23 is 12 volt. Pin 9 & 24 is ground

Hi, what size torx to disassemble the cluster? I know it's T20 to remove but what size to take apart as I can see it's a lot smaller than T20. Please reply asap. No worries I see it's torx 10.
It´s always better to have different sizes..
Can a big screen be installed for Bora? My original is half. It has an LED indicator light on it.

Also mit eurem Display mit einstellbarem Kontrast bin ich wirklich nicht zufrieden, streifen und pulsierende Linien, deutlich greller als das Original, schon fast unangenehm.
Moin Kapsi, worin wurde es eingebaut? Und hast du versucht den Kontrast einzustellen? Wir haben da sonst keine Probleme mit.
