Wilson Fisk's strength isn't artificially enhanced or even superpowered. He was abused as a kid and picked on relentlessly by other kids because of his weight, that he just started working out like a madman while simultaneously getting ultra educated. How he found the time to study while getting jacked, who knows. lol

That line Spider-Ham says, "The hardest thing about this job is... you can't always save everybody." Really chokes me up, even to this day. In every single superhero story, someone important to them that they couldn't save (like Uncle Ben, or Gwen Stacy in the spider-Man comics,) is a traumatizing memory that stays with them the most, their driving force to do their very best and try not to let anyone else die. But it's an impossible task, the cruel reality, and a rather mature theme that I'm glad they touched on.

    Fun facts:
Miles has a special framerate trough the movie.
Until he accepts his powers, he runs at 12 FPS, and after that, he goes double like all the other Spider-People.
When the collider "explodes", you can see the other Spider-People be launched trough the city.
After the accident that broke the USB, Miles starts to keep his shoes tied.

      1. I think 2099 spiderman will be the bad guy and the spot might turn good like in the 1994 show and try to help miles.
      2. Or the spot is the mane villen and 2099 spiderman will have to trust miles decisions of what he wants to do.
This is just my thoughts and i hope my first theory is true.

One of the best scenes was Stan Lee saying that he and Spider-Man were old friends, because Spider-Man was created personally by Stan Lee himself and when Marvel said they didn't like him, Stan put him in a comic anyway and he was an instant favourite.

Everything about this movie works. Seeing Miles learning about his powers and seeing him train with the other dimension Spidey gives these characters so much development. The animation is beautiful. The comic book style fast paced animation really makes these action scenes look impressive. It made an impact on animated films to where even others have hopped along the trend like The Bad Guys, Puss in Boots 2, and now Disney’s Wish! Even the humor works very well. Almost every joke made me laugh. I’m hyped for Across the Spider-Verse a month from now!

32:42 And he's probably worried that he's going to lose Miles, too. Since Miles and Aaron were so close, and Aaron died thinking that his brother looked down on him, he probably worries that Miles thinks something similar; that his dad is disappointed in him for how similar he is to Aaron. And honestly, my heart breaks for father and son both, at this point. Neither can say what's really going on. Miles is bound and gagged, literally and figuratively, by spiderman. His father can't bring himself to say through a closed and locked door, to a son he thinks is angry with him, that the man his son looked up to most in the world is dead. Murdered, no less. It's heartbreaking on both sides.

    @3:39 agreed.
What’s still peculiar to me is that they implemented comic books in a comic book film. It’s kinda ironic because that’s not something usually done with superhero comic book films which have become the norm.
The entire film itself is one massive comic book. From the speech bubbles to the text boxes to the panels to the splash art, it’s almost as if us the audience are flipping through the pages as we’re watching the film.
A handful of voice actors would go on to portray live-action characters in Marvel Studios Phase 4. For instance, Bryan Tyree Henry who voiced Miles’ father Jefferson would portray Phastos in the Eternals. Hailee Steinfeld, the voice behind Gwen Stacy/Spider-Woman, would portray Kate Bishop/Hawkeye II. And Kathryn Hahn, who lent her voice as Doctor Octopus, would portray Agatha Harkness in WandaVision.
And this is phase five, but Mahershala Ali, who portrayed Aaron Davis/Prowler, is gonna be the MCU’s take on Blade.
(Aaron Davis was portrayed by Donald Glover/Childish Gambino in Spider-Man: Homecoming)
There are two sequels on the way. One coming this year is Across the Spider-Verse. Next year we’re getting Beyond the Spider-Verse.
Oscar Isaac voiced Miguel O’Hara/Spider-Man 2099 in the post credit scene, and he’s gonna have a prominent role in Across the Spider-Verse. That’s also where we’ll meet Jessica Drew voiced by Issa Rae.
There’s a Spider-Woman spinoff in the works with Gwen and Jessica expected to appear. They also plan to bring in Cindy Moon/Silk.
And finally, late musician Juice WRLD collaborated with Seezyn in the song called Hide. Juice would have been 24 today.

My mom was in the seat next to me and later asked why everyone was clapping and why I had tears in my eyes during that scene, I told her it was because Stan Lee was the creator of Spider-Man and that he had recently passed away. She doesn't always fully understand my nerdy/geeky interests and fandoms, but she understood the explanation and the impact the scene must've had on die-hard fans like me.

7:17 If you pay close attention, you can see that "Gwanda," aka Gwen, is wearing her teal pointe shoes and is also the only girl wearing black "tights," because they might actually just be the lower part of her Spider suit because the legs of her suit are plain black.
I'm guessing the rest of her suit is either hidden under her uniform (sleeves/gloves rolled up) or the top half is all one piece apart from the "leggings" part and is stowed away somewhere she hid it for safekeeping.

The first Stan Lee cameo I remember seeing was in the 90s on the cartoon Spider-Man. Spider-Man had just finished saving the multiverse along with multiple other Spider-Men from a Spider-Man who had fused with Carnage and tried to destroy the multiverse.
One of the Spider-Men Madame Web had summoned was actually an actor from our universe. In the final fareware, the animated Spider-Man from the show was taken to our world to meet the real Stan Lee and it was very touching.
I know it wasn’t the very first cameo, but it’s very close. I know this movie’s cameo won’t be the final cameo, but it’s very close.
Still, this farewell reminds me of the first one I saw in many ways- even a similar premise, multiple Spider-Men saving the multiverse- and it feels very appropriate. I’ll miss him. Excelsior!

Can we agree that this movie is like a childhood dream in an actual somewhat realistic movie form? Many kids probably dreamed of spiderman powers at some point and if they were really young, they're imagonation probably went wild. The Spider-Man Noir, Spider-Ham and Miles' extra powers are a perfect representation of what a kid would imagine. But somehow they really managed to make that idea into a movie that's definitely not for infants. Spider-Gwen for example gives a more grown up vibe as a unique love interest just for you as a spider person. And the comic book vibe also gives something for the og fans to relate to.
I gotta admit, if a time traveler told me years ago about the whole plot of this movie, I'd for sure think they're talking crazy.

Aaron chose death over killing Miles. He knew that Kingpin would kill him if he was no longer useful. After all, Kingpin has done so before offscreen. The Green Goblin fucked up his collider test and now he's nowhere to be seen. In the Ultimate comics, where Miles is from, Peter Parker succumbs to the wounds he got in his final fight with Green Goblin who also died shortly before Peter.

"Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse" is the film that revolutionize the animation as we got "The Mitchell's Vs. The Machine" and "The Bad Guys" and "Puss In Boots: The Last Wish".

So I'm just gonna say this: OG Spider-Man HAS WEB-SHOOTERS.
Toby MacGuire's Spider-Man is one of VERY FEW Spider-People with Organic Webbing.

This movie was out in 2018 and the sequel is here now. 5 years is enough to fully developped the characters, create the story, the music etc. The producers take their time to offer us a fun adventure with cool action, excellent humor and amazing animation. One of the best Spider-man movies, i love it 😄I will watch the sequel in cinemas with my brother and my sister, can't wait to go soon!

Am I the only person who no matter how old I get I still tell my mom and dad I love them and never felt embarrassed about it. Only Toby Maguire Spider-Man has natural webs all other spidermen use web shooters. Fun fact Gwen didn’t just not save her Peter she actually accidentally killed him when he was the lizard.

21:25. And this was the perfect "duh" moment, the perfect slap-in-the-face moment! When this movie was shown for the first time, we as the audience didn't even consider there to be other versions of Doctor Octopus! We have always seen Doc Ock portrayed as a male, we have never seen a female version/portrayal before!
