Ahh, hello there! Your family and friends will FALL in love with these décor items. Created from only two 2x4 and two 2x6’s, costing less than $20. If you hit up the cull lumber section of your local big box store you can get the bent and blemished boards 50% off, making all this for only 10 bucks!! The leaves here in Illinois are still green on the trees, because its August, but I wanted to beat the rush.. The printable file for cut diagram is in the description, and it includes all the lettering needed for these projects. All the wood will fit in the car, and its one of my favorite arm rests. Or, you can dig through that scrap pile and use cut-offs for your creations. I pull inspiration from Pinterest and Etsy, and to buy all this on Etsy would cost $298.83, however you would be supporting a fellow craftsman. If you don’t personally sell on Etsy, let me tell you that they have added several steps like sending a video clip of where you create your masterpieces to thin out the swarm of fake resellers.
Today we are making these adorable decorative books, a two “fall” signs, this pumpkin patch decoration, some gourd jus pumpkins, in several varieties, acorns and candy corn,; even though I still think these belong in the future Halloween video. Speaking of Halloween, this Gobble sign is downright haunted! (Oooooo) by haunted, I mean reversible.
I mass produced these items so you will see different progressions of these projects as I complete the walk throughs, I did all the cutting, then all the painting, then the details. so enjoy the sneak peaks in the background.
Thank you all so much for the support, a simple “like” and “share” goes a long way for me. Let me know how your fall haul goes!

This is the only woodshop I’ve ever seen without any clamps. So much glue, so few nails, so few wood clamps.
Thats what most crafters have :)
Bummer about your regrets on your miter saw and not being able to saw the big boards. I can’t tell you how many videos I’ve seen where somebody says regrets about their workspace. Even the new Yankee workshop
Being my first shop; Ive learned a few things since the initial set up. Lol glad to be in the same boat as New Yankee Workshop though. I guess I dont know what to improve until its too late :P
I'm sawing under a tarp off the carport. Have all the re gets you want. It's so nice to hear somebody else complaining, make me feel right at home!
The NYW regret was not having allowed a path for dust collection in the floor since the shop had glorious and luxurious radiant floor heating.
That was a very awesome video for fall idea love it but I also like the paint booth do u have a video on how to make it looks pretty simple?
It was pretty simple to make, im shooting my garage tour video next week and its a feature in it if you want to see more video of its construction
@@WhosTheVossok sounds good
You need a cricut or something like it.
The Mrs has a cricut, we used it for the pumpkin patch sign in this video, but even without a cricut, the stincils worked out quite well :)
Was just wondering. Do you have a vid of just Halloween stuff? Keep the vids coming. Love your content
I'll have one in September! :) I'm excited to start doing more small projects builds
When and where do you ever find $2 cans of paint? Is there a brand and certain store chain that sells that it that cheap Evan on sale?
Ace Hardware and Lowes whenever they are getting rid of colors or brands, they are usually odd ball colors but ill use them for something :)
8:02 😂😂😂
👍🤣🤣
What is the spacing on the gray pumpkin?
The 2x4's are butted up against eachother, there is no space between them. The row in front/behind the row with the stem is just centered like a pyramid :)
Where in the world do you find spray paint under $2????
Lowes and Ace Hardware when they go on clearance, usually dont get the main colors I use, but I get some odd ball ones :)
@@WhosTheVoss thank you. I did pick up some stain at Ace last night on clearance for $4.99. I haven’t seen cheap spray paint for a few years though.
Do treat yourself to an extra glove when staining stuff..... it really does pay for itself.....
Indeed good sir
