- Опубликовано: 1 мар 2022
- Most missions in "Assassin's Creed" games are great, but these stray far from the path. For this list, we’ll be looking at levels in the series that gamers either dreaded playing the most, or which almost ruined the entire experience for them, be it due to frustrating design, absurd requirements, or annoying companions. Our list includes Den Defense from "Assassin's Creed: Revelations" (2011), Encyclopedia of the Common Man from "Assassin's Creed III" (2012), Sibrand of Acre from "Assassin's Creed" (2007), and more!

4:40 The desmond's journey mission wasn't that bad. After all when you completed that mission you get to play as desmond in the story mode
I actually hate the Flying Machine mission a lot more than the tank mission from AC: Brotherhood. Also have you ever done a video about the most beloved missions from this franchise?
starting to think your just noobs
I have 100% synced on all of these games, so I have done all of these missions. I didn't find most of them bad, but I will say, that feeling of accomplishment once you do succeed at a difficult one is amazing!
The tank was a nightmare! Played it like 16 times back when i was trophyhunting
@@Vestlus1 Yes! Now that was one I thought I was going to break a controller over. It and the flying machine on this list!
From someone did them all and got a triple plats in ezio’s trilogy
They are good missions but the requirements are shit
I used yotube 99% of the time bc i didnt bother dont any of it on my own
@@TheReveredNinja i did the flying machine on first try, but I got hit the same second the cutscene started. Thought i had to do the whole thing over. For some reason It didn't count as a hit and i got 100%
How I'm feeling playing the Jak & Daxter main Trilogy...AGAIN!
In AC 4, those follow missions where you have to stay inside the "sound circle" were simply terrible.
yeees and they took place soo regularly
Black Flag?
@@TylerEubank yese
and the ship tailing missions sucked to
@@declanhoman144 Or just tailing missions in general. I like Black Flag overall, but the tailing missions were by far the worst part of it.
I swear to god the mission where your inside the tank in brotherhood, getting 100% in that mission took me absolutely forever to do. And the other Leonardo mission where your using the wings was also extremely difficult
Here my advice for the tank mission: when you feel that you can’t escape the shot, pause and quit the game right away before the line turn red. It would restore the lastest checkpoint without failing that suck 100% sync.
search for youtube trick for the tank mission
Ahh you mean the bomber ooh shit i always do is taking out the archer tower first well is kind a hard as long as you will not get hit by there arrows
Super easy. All you do is when you make it to the castle. Just inch forward till they come out then back up where you get desync'd and stay in just out of bounds and fire away! They won't ever shoot you and you just sit there
@@adisalaka more easy, stay hide always ride, never stop
Urgh the Tank mission... I discovered a glitch on my third or fourth attempt that if you stay by the doors of the final arena and bring up the desynchronisation threat for leaving the area but don't actually leave, you can cheese the tanks without them shooting you. But you still have to get there with zero damage up to that point.
What immediately comes to my mind is "localize James Kidd" from Black Flg. Why am I not allowed to kill anyone or even fight?
Well, imagine if someone invited you to their place but their partners didnt know you were going to be there and you dont want them to see you, so you slash their troaths
Dont you think your friend would be a little angry at you?
The same with James Kidd.
You can knock them out though so it doesn't make that much of a difference
That was indeed the point I decided I'd be happy enough to live without the diving bell and just got back to my pirating ... Much as I love the sandbox portion of AC4, the story missions do nothing so much as emphasise the weakest aspects of the series as a whole (though I suppose one must be grateful that Edward doesn't insta-drown, or he'd really be screwed).
That is so bad I quit the game for a month before i came back. Not to mention i was playing first time so i didnt understand the detection system
I enjoyed most of these missions on this list, but the Paul revere ride was annoying, and giant and the storm from AC3 and the tank mission from brotherhood are the most aggravating missions to 100% in probably the whole series. I would have argued the Charles Lee chase at the end of AC3 was near impossible to 100% before they patched it and tweaked it again in the remaster
i hate every AC3 mission up to sequence 7 or 8. 7 sequences of just tutorials
@@jamie-be8io Agree. I like the game! But the gameplay and missions ruined the whole experience that I totally gave up! I gave it a second chance but after a while left it untouched again. No thanks.
@@notyourbusiness1352 i’ve tried playing it 4 times and deleted it every single time
I was able to get it a couple of years on the ps3 that wasnt remastered
Paul Revere and "Ezio as Luigi" is basically the same mission, one just has a horse...
Also, i prefer listening to Luigis goofy henchmen over Revere... that voice is quite grating.
The last mission or so in AC3 where you had to chase Charles Lee through those crowds of people and into the burning ship made me want to put my fist through the TV more than anything
And what piss me off the most about that is that Conor gets stop by a bucket. A fucking little bucket!
I kept thinking of a certain mission I hated in ac 3. And now that you said. That damn burning ship!
@@hellzreaper1192 ,The one that you get hit by shots everytime?,that almost make me hit my head on a wall.
I just played AC3 and it took me close to 45 minutes to finish that level and I also wanted to put my foot through my TV
I actually found that one fairly easy.. The only thing that made me replay the mission like 5 times was that I couldn't figure out where to go once the fire starts inside the ship but once I did the rest was pretty easy.. The worst one in AC3 by far was the ship one (not the one from the video but the one where you cannot be spotted while lighting up the powder barrels on 2 shipa), took me 15+ attempts. After that the battlefield one (10 attempts approx).
I actually liked Desmond's journey. I was happy to sit there and build bridges for the story - admittedly, it coulda been more interesting, but I thought it was worth doing.
Agreed.. Learned a lot about Desmond's background through it too
As someone who loves the lore I really enjoyed The Lost Archive DLC too, it was cool to find out more about Clay and Lucy. I love all the modern day stuff, even poking round the Abstergo offices lol
Same
I´ve only played AC 1 , 2 and 3, so nothing in between or beyond, because i always liked Desmond Miles as the actual main character of AC. So i also would like this mission because of that.
Dont like the gameplay of it, but the story content is really nice.
Same with Lost Archive.
I remember how infuriating the Sibrand mission was in AC1, especially with the random drunks who would shove you into the water
This makes me remember the 2nd Jerusalem target in AC1 with the "mentally disabled" dudes who will shove you aimed for me in the crowd missed hit someone else who went flying which made the whole first row step forward into the guards at the execution. Starting the fight, and now I am spotted...
That mission is laughable if you do all the intel missions and read the intel you get. It gives you a perfectly clear path with very few guards to worry about and no drunks at all. Everyone I see complain about AC1 never reads the intel.
@@Doomblud Honestly, as someone who's been a fan day 1 2007, I only found out last year during a replay that you can actually view the intel. Blew my mind. It even has like diary entries from Altair. Couldn't believe my fucking eyes, it's a shame that's not really explained to you. It's no wonder most people miss it.
@@nordicrain Oh lol, I never knew you could! I always thought it was just something you always had to get before assassinations
@@Doomblud
so true bro, honestly don't remember having any real problems or annoyances in AC1 tbh...maybe getting the flags but other than that - just great time
There was a tough one on Brotherhood called Trojan Horse where you can’t lose health for full sync. And towards the end of that memory, three papal guards literally rush and attack you so you immediately fail the sync. Tail missions were also boring for me
As much as I love black flag I loathe the tailing and instant fail stealth missions.
i hope who ever though of pirate ship stealth got a slap.
@@SharkSprayYTP Several slaps, grabbed and shaken by the collar and repeatedly asked 'who hurt you?'.
As someone who has 100% synched all the missions from Brotherhood to Syndicate, I gotta say most of those optional objectives/challenges were a *HUGE PAIN* and I'm glad the new games dropped them for good.
The problem is because they dropped sync requirements they dropped the easy ability to replay a single mission without replaying an entire 70 hour game
@@CQchaos7474 An excellent point.
However, they didn't actually *need to* drop the mission replay feature.
Naughty Dog games never had *infuriating* optional objectives, yet they've always (or at least since 2007) given us the choice to replay specific chapters (or *segments* of said chapters) of the story without having to replay the whole game.
"Altaïr can't swim." Everyone, despite the fact that Altaïr damn well had the option of swimming to Sibrand and could actually swim _had the Animus allowed him to._
The Flying Machine in ACB and the chasing after Charles Lee at the end of ACIII made me ragequit many times.
couldn’t have been more accurate on the tank mission! goodness that was dreadful to try to not get hit a single time for full sync the FIRST time ever being in that smh
You kids complain literally just for the sake of it
@@jameslahey2005 …okay 🙄
@@jameslahey2005 XD
Yeah, that tank mission was infuriating. I was VERY glad when I finally did it.
@@riffgroove Me & 2 other friends passed it first try, & we loved it. Actually my favorite out of the inventions. I think the problem is you
The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere is actually a really cool mission and not that hard as long as you play it smart
And you just have to have some patience and allow redcoats to passby. And you can use eagle vision to locate the houses.
The fact you didn't include any of black flags ludicrous tail the boat through a swamp mission is a joke.
Some of those missions must have taken 3 years off my life. It was those missions where my hands were wrapped so tightly around my controller that sometimes I was on the edge of breaking it into its pieces. And during the bomber mission in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, my neighbor asked me the day after why I had cursed so much yesterday 😂
I didn’t really find the ac3 mission where you break the brothers up from fighting to be that challenging I did it my first try I was actually kinda disappointed that there wasn’t much else to it
Same
I dont recall ever struggling on "When in Rome". There are a few tricks IIRC
Mainly that the hints are just to get to the next "Checkpoint" and then the next after that, and well the area does have visible paths.
Also "I hope they will let us go inside" means that Nothing is wrong, AKA youre on the right way.
And whilst Den Defense is a bit annoying (it seems overly brutal on difficulty), its also easy to avoid.
Ironically i was just doing tank mission in AC: B. My worst one was the one in AC4 where you have to tail the target and do air assassination on top of the ship.
As for Bomber, you just need to stay away from shooters and shot them from far distance.
Thought it would be hard because i failed first time, but second time it was easy. Just turn right immediately and shoot all the towers from far distance.
AC4: and be stealthy all the way!
And somehow when I did it last time I even managed to air assassinate the poor guy. And somehow the game still didn't feel generous enough to award me with a 100% sync... 😂
I did the Bomber full sync in 2 tries too. First I thought, eh I'll ignore them and bumrush the targets, only to be hit from behind. 2nd try I made sure to destroy every archer platform imaginable
I would've added all the tailing missions from Black Flag. Just the sheer number of them in that game. And they completely stalled any fun that could be had on the open seas.
The tank mission is incredible
The optional challenge is 💩
Fax no cap
I never did the optional challenges in AC games back then and makes me wonder why the game feels short.
@@frankuraku5622

And have fun
Completing AC brotherhood with 100% sync was a truly nerve wrecking experience for me, there were so many challenging missions, I would put this whole game in this video 🙂 but especially I won't forget those horrific missions with Leonardo's machines which absolutely blew my mind
I am surprised nobody mentions the "save Caterina from the huge castle stealthily" mission. It's on my top list. 😂
Lol I 100% synched the tank mission in brotherhood on my first try, I felt pretty good about it but had no idea it was such an accomplishment! The key is to just drive in circles around the enemy tanks
Same thing but for the flying machine 2.0
I rather enjoyed Desmond's Journey, The Lost Archive DLC is one of my favourites. The music and dour tone made it a rather fascinating puzzle to move through.
I recently got into the AC games and I agree with this list but the end. The tank mission I beat first try and it was actually really fun to play (the flying mission was horrible). In its place as the worst mission I would put the one in AC 3 where you have to kill everyone on two ships while not being detected AND air assassinate one particular dude. AC3 while improved on so many things from the ezio trilogy, it took WAY too many steps back...
nice, Welcome to the club
There is also the mission where you chase Charles Lee and need to catch him within 30 seconds or so. It was a pain in the ass
AC3 was a blast for me but the pacing is slow at start and some stealth missions are impossible to full sync like the ship mission you mentioned.
@@baharchange I saw some vids on the ac3 remake and I'm considering retrying it on that. I know it doesn't fix much but at least some, and I don't really care about the graphics so it seems like a worthy try if I can get a discount on it. But for now I'm on unity and in amazement that it was made in 2014
It reminded me a lot of the bad missions in AC3, plus the annoying tailing and eavesdropping missions in BF, I prefer to play den defense all day than to stay in the 'tail/eavesdropping circle'
As for the tank mission, I had my brother control the movement and I took care of the rest, you can't operate a tank on your own 🤣🤣
The tank mission was easy. The tailing and eavesdropping missions in BF are so easy.
Imo, the hardest mission to 100% sync in AC 3 is Conflict Looms, where you have to destroy both ships undetected, and air assassinate a grenadier, of which there is only one. So you have to climb up one of the ships, shoot projectiles at all enemies except the grenadier, and then jump down on him, all while trying not to get detected.
Totally amazing video of the assassin creed worst missions in the games mojo plays, fantastic job.
They forget the hardest mission, Locate James Kidd. Seriously, this quest is ridiculous. You have to sneak through a huge restricted area with a ton of assasins, and you can’t kill any or be detected or you die. There’s so many of these stupid assassins, and it’s utter chaos.
Desmonds journy was anazing, you finally got some background on your character after 3 games. i loved it
Assassin's Creed III killing Charles Lee was the worst mission of all time. You're a trained assassin who suddenly forgets how to run in a straight line simply because you're being shot at, I guess the developers forgot you're doing exactly that while running across a field being shot at while trying to kill John Pitcairn. The klunky parkour would have you randomly jump to the Left or right while chasing Charles Lee. Yes a trained assassin suddenly forgets how to run in a straight line simply because he was being shot at makes the whole experience a pain in the ass
The most annoying thing about the encyclopedia of the common man was that if the settler has a quest for you, you cant scan them even if it's an action you need.
I was actually thinking the Giant and the storm would be on this list, I remember getting so frustrated trying to get 100% sync on that mission. I think I had to redo that mission more times than any other mission in the entire franchise. Ahhh good times
Funny thing is I don't find any of these missions annoying or hard except that Naval mission in AC3.That one is the most annoying.Other missions are actually easy, fun and challenging
I think Desmond's Journey is actually a pretty good 5 level sequence. I like being able to play with the shapes and such to solve puzzles and learn who Desmond actually is
If i remember right the tank missia was easily cheesed at the end by staying just outside of the final arena to not trigger the fight and killing one of the 2 tanks from extreme range, thus getting a fairer 1 on 1 fight after
I completely agree that the missions on Brotherhood where you must avoid getting hit are pure hell, especially the one where you fly around and also the missions where you must avoid getting spotted, i hate those soo much as well.
Title should be worst missions in AC till the AC3. Even many Black Flag fans have to agree that tailing missions are bad as there's so many of them. Also control of tank makes sense and is good as it's just prototype on paper it would be awful if tanks moves the same as in modern games. And Vinci missions are great because it the only type if there's tank mission in every sequence it would lose its charm. Once again it's all for full sync if you just wants to move on the story there's no need or reason for it so naturally doing full sync poses some challange.
The flying machine 2.0 mission brotherhood was super fun in my opinion, but the full sync requirements make the mission an absolute pain in the a**.
I was about to say I loved Da Vincis flying machine mission, until you reminded me of the 100% sync requirements. 😅
One of the harder missions that bothered me for a long time was the Lost Archive Chapter 4. The trophy "Impress Warren Vidic" which requires not messing up. That was a pain and super frustrating.
The Giant and the Storm mission I did by ramming the ships while sailing against the wind and after using the chain shot to disable them.
This dude clearly doesn't understand the worst missions. Most of them are just complicated to achieve 100% synchronization. The only infuriating mission from this list is the destruction of tanks.
And I would add the following: the rescue of Caterina Sforza and the penetration into Sant'Angelo for Cesare and Rodrigo (for the 2nd time), where in both cases you need to be unnoticed - these missions are difficult enough, and the latter is completely unbearable. There are really a lot of boring missions in AC3, but there are no disgusting ones. In AC4, the most annoying ones will be those where you need to follow someone, since already during these 6 games you have already tired of following someone, exactly in the form in which they are presented. It was in AC2 that I was always infuriated by the mission on a flying car, and not in Brotherhood, if you can turn around in it, then in the second it is very difficult to fly to the right fire and get to the destination. In Brotherhood, I would add the last mission from the DLC with Da Vinci, where you don't need to take damage, the mission is long, and all these riddles are already specifically bored. Further games after Black Flag seem less interesting to me, and therefore there are more boring missions than memorable ones, the only thing that gave me pleasure was the unique murders in Unity and Syndicate, well, Origins was very good.
Worst boat mission is in Assassin’s Creed II where you have to kill the Merchant (Savonarola's Lieutenant) on a boat surrounded by guards undetected even though Ezio can swim but can remain hidden underwater while guards are looking for him resulting in desynchronization when he resurfaces as the guards detect him and there’s a lot of guards in points that result instant desynchronization when he kills one silently.
Some missions deterred me from playing any Assassin's creed games at all. A good example of this is Assassin's creed 3 because of the time where you have to chase Charles lee through the docks and the game decides that "uh oh, you're getting too close. Better give Ol' Charles here a speed boost like he's sonic the friggin hedgehog because we still got a whole burning boat sequence to get through!" 😡😠
🤣🤣😭😂
@@harsh111yt why's that funny? 🤔 because one mission kept me from playing a game? 🤔😕 I know I'm not the only one in the world who feels that way so I don't understand why you're laughing 😕
@@melissapoling3768 the way you used emoji on your comments and that sonic the hedgehog thing made me laugh 😂
@@harsh111yt oh, my bad 😅
Public execution in AC3 is my number 1. That mission is bs. You have to protect washington's bodyguards and kill 2 guards. That is the only mission I hated in AC3. It doesn't make any sense
YES, these examples where silly when AC games have genuinly annoying msions, like Blck Flags easdropping missions
I have tried the tank mission of brotherhood almost 35 times to full synchronization! What a hell.
I remember the mission of chasing Lauren Prins in ac4. It was a pain in the ass to avoid being detected
Great vid, but I didn’t see any crocodiles anywhere
To be fair, the tank mission in AC Brotherhood wasn't as difficult as it seemed. I was able to 100% synch it on my second replay but only after strafing like my life depended on it. Still hella better than the bloody Paul mission in AC 3.
I guess those who hated tank and such missions only played games with buttery smooth control games only on their Xbox or PS.
same, i never get frustated in that mission it's just feel too easy for me and i want to do it even more, and the same goes for all the Leonardo's mission
@@ltan7136 I mean, it's kinda cool rocking a 360 tank in a stealth game :3
From AC unity: The Tournament
I’m sure in a group its fine, but it genuinely took me an hour or so to properly pin down how to navigate that hellsite of a parkour section fast enough to get all the flags in time
The Tournament is annoying, but I personally found Women's March and Infernal Machine far, far, far less forgiving to solo. Either way, I'm glad that the whole "we're going to lock a piece of almost every gear set behind a co-op mission, and some of the lower gear sets behind the higher level missions, ROFL" was buried and never, ever returned to again.
@@wozify A real good tip i find for womens march is to just learn where the enemies are and rush to them before the npcs get to them, but yeah infernal machine can suck too because you need to do it so much
i know its not a main mission, more of a side mission, but in ac2 in one of the assassins tomb where you have to pull a lever and most of the jumps are advanced side jumps. i spent like an hour on that, first cuz i couldnt figure out how to even do the jump and then because just before i got to the last bit, the time would run out and the bar would retract again, so i had to start from the beginning. that was frustrating
Ahh i know that i get you yeah you need to be very fast in order to reach that beam you are climbing because those lever have time limit.
I liked those da Vinci's invention missions in brotherhood they were fun
2:15 i quite litterally only did teh tutorial bit and never had to do the den defence ever again!!
The mission in Black Flag where you have to navigate the ship through the swamp, get out, take out guards, navigate some more, get out and tail someone without getting caught.
I love the tank mission. It’s honestly so much fun and really challenging
Wait... what about the Spirit Journey for AC3 and the Eagle Spirit Journey for AC3 Tyranny of King Washington? Those are definitely harder than Midnight Ride. I had no problem with Midnight Ride.
Also the canoe mission for Liberation is also difficult
‘Hell on Wheels’ is literally the reason I stopped my 100% play through of AC Brotherhood. So infuriating.
Den's defence are so fun, and varry gameplay too, to be honnest im shocked that you find it hard, especialy when its easy to avoid it
The lumber jack fight wasn't that bad. They live on your homestead and are your primary source of lumber for all future builds. They get into an argument and start punching each other and you have to separate it before one gets knocked out keeping the peace. Just spread them to the edges. If one sneaks inside the bar reset in front of him to stop his progress.
9:43 this.. mission!!! I did this too many, toooo maay, TOO MANY TIMES! Than a gave me 1 year breake from this, than a came to the game because i wanted platinum trophy, and did it for the second time... The feeling, the feeling, the moment when i was free. This was one of the gratest feelings i´ve ever had! :D
You didn't include Ship Stealth? SO warranted a (dis)honorable mention.
The capture the flag mission to get that mask in Assassin's Creed 2 pissed me off enough to quit the game for years before I just tried again a while ago after I got the Ezio Collection.
I do not agree with:
Den defense,
Den Defense is insane! I love these missions ... probably because I love strategy games
Desmond's Journey
These were indeed disturbing missions. But due to the fact that the whole Revelations was quite easy (even though it was long), such a detachment and going through something really difficult was fun
Flying Machine 2.0, Hell on Wheels
As with the previous one. Most of the AC Brotherhood were simple missions. And these 4 missions in which we destroyed Da Vinci's creations were really cool. And Hell on Wheels is just like World of Tanks xD
The tank mission if you keep out side the last doors and shoot everything first you get most of the kills needed. Then you go past the doors and quickly retreat behind them, the sync area keeps them from shooting at you but you can shoot at them.
The Da Vinci missions from brotherhood and the Den defence from revelation are my favorite.
Let's be honest the 100% synchronization bs they added since brotherhood until the end of "classic" AC gameplay games era was one of the worst additions to the games. It kills your creativity and rushes you.
The flying machine was frustrating but not getting hit in the tank segment was the only reason i never got platinum on brotherhood
You should do a worse or most annoying achievements/trophies in Assassin's creed. Part 3 will have a good chunk of them
A Spot of Tea from Syndicate should be on here. Everyone has to use a guide because the game straight up tricks you on how it's possible to do this mission.
the only one that i didn't like was in ac4 where you have to chase the sage and you have to do an air tackle, the only reason why i got him was we both got stuck on a ladder, he was going up i was going down, then i jumped accidentally and saw the prompt, i clicked it so hard kenway glitched and teleported to the sage successfully doing an air tackle while in mid air. that was so hard because whenever i was abive the sage the prompt won't appear, even if it does it will only appear for half a second.
i don't remember the missions name, but it was in AC3, and you had to sneak aboard this ship that had been firing on the town and stealthly take out a certain type of enemy
but for some reason killing one would literally alert everyone to you
AC 3 is my favorite, but the Encyclopedia of Common Man's mission drives me mad. You activate the mission quite early and if you want to finish it, you need all of the homesteads and also finish their mission (2 missions per homestead). I want to finish it before the mission where Achilles died, but it proves impossible. Until now I still don't know the end of the mission
The gaint in the storm a bad mission? ABSOLUTLY!
I liked the mission but I hated the requirement since like you stated you have only three ships. I had to chain shot them so they couldn’t move and than aim my cannons scratching their sides. Even then it’s still hard to have those gunpowder places open to shoot at it.
Idk. Not everything in game needs to be constantly action packed. Desmond Journey was the perfect mission that let you relax and hear more about the story
Yeah,i found it relax and apreciate our desmond miles more. Even when i fail. Not really annoy me
should’ve included “conflict looms” from ac3. it’s a living hell just trying to get 100% synch on that mission
Ah yes, i remember the in rome mission making me get stuck for 4 months because i don't have any guide and idea what the location was, luckily in pure luck i found it. AFTER 4 MONTHS!
You forgot the 2nd worst mission after hell on wheels - AC3 mission where you have to destroy 2 ships by lighting up the barrels with powder - all that without being spotted
These are all from just the first five entries. So are you gonna make a list on the worst missions on the later games or do you just find literally every mission from them to be better than the ones here?
Pretty sure that bit bout the later entries bein excluded is due to the fact that they are too repetitive to not come across the same problem few nough times to make worthwhile putting onto a Top __ list
100% synch on ACB was so annoying just because of the tank mission, i probably tried it 20 times to not get hit in that final battle
Paul Revere was definitely my number 1. It seemed to never end and sometimes the AI just wouldn't want to progress in the story
Finishing the optional objectives in ac3 was hell
All you need to do in the fight is slowly push the 2 joysticks away and then once a quarter of the way away from the end you can just sit back and relax as the bars bounce back and forth
I ran out of insults with the tank,i had to come up with new curse word combos to describe the tank
I didn't realize what's the worst Assassins Creed mission, all I do is just do the missions and get them out of my way in order to continue onto the story.
But I do admit, some of them, don't remember which ones, they do drive me insane, where I basically yell at the characters!
I don’t remember some of these missions: like the tank mission and the following NOC’s mission from AC3
I love all of these missions and as far as 100% goes, it's sooooo cool to have a few little challenges to make the difficulty higher than choosing from easy to hard options like it is in the Odyseey and Valhalla trash.
I think most peoples' objections to the 100% sync objectives were a) a lot of them were excessively hard because they relied on frame-perfect reactions or the luck of the physics engine not janking out, and b) a lot of the conditions required you to play the levels in an incredibly specific way that very often meant you couldn't deviate from an intended set of actions. It's one thing to say "complete this mission without using ranged weaponry" which makes it hard and dangerous, it's another to say "play this entire section without being detected and oh btw there's always a guard who can somehow see you through walls and hears your 'silent' takedowns".
I got 100% sync on the tank mission on my second try. The trick is to never stop moving.
All the tailing missions in Black Flag, all the kidnapping missions in Syndicate and EVERYTHING that takes place in the modern days. These are the worst ones.
I've just finished AC3 and the Patriot Messenger chase down quest is ASININE. Instant controller breakage until you work out the only way to do it is creep to the end on foot and have the last messenger charge toward you. Very hard to Full Synchro this as the Horse 🐎 Physics - they are Broken man
I have to disagree with the Den Feature. They were a main reason why I kept coming back but that is my opinion even though it was constantly attacked, which tweaking can be adjusted.
Every single "race" in Assassins Creed 2, to the extent that I never finished the game (I'm a completionist, so the inclusion of side missions that require the patience of a saint is an experience-killer for me). Whoever thought that what their story-driven historical epic was missing was a plethora of horrible Superman 64-esque ring slaloms - only without the power of flight, inconsistent controls, and a host of NPCs trying to ruin your day - needs their head examined.
My list: EVERY SINGLE MISSION of eavesdroping in AC 4 and the worst being sailing through a tight and dark swamp with the jackdaw without being seen.
I'm just starting the video so I guess I'll start editing as I go, but the first quest you mention was not hard and was not that obscure. The only times you had to change direction was when they outright tell you, the other times they just add colorful commentary to the travel, you don't have to read between lines all their lines.
I was able to get to the end of the tank mission before one of the two tanks would always seem to get a lucky shot on me thus failing to get 100%. I don’t know how many attempts I did before just giving up on it. To this day, Brotherhood is the only classic era AC game I haven’t 100% synched because of that stupid mission. I was even able to 100% the flying machine mission after a few attempts.
I always liked rc heli in Vice City if you played it, and so flying mission in ACB. Once you figure out control it's easy to do. Also tank mission is easy to get 100% if you can reach last point without getting hit. Just needs to stay outside Desyncronization wall and shoot at the tank inside.
@@Zero00899 Yeah the desync wall exploit is cheesy as hell but it's the only legit way most people get 100% sync because the lack of checkpointing is dumb and the enemy tank targeting is WAY good. I did it first try with a guide and a lot of patience.
AC Revelations has a mission called Janissaries in which your goal is to tail the leader of the titular group of guards through a bazaar & to a secret meeting without being detected. Only trouble is... The game proceeds to do whatever it can to undermine this goal so as to cause you to desynch many times. From the lead guard being indecisive & deciding that he didnt mean to go the way he was goin for sometime but rather needing to make a 180. To enemy assassins attempting to assassinate Ezio which also gets the guard sus. To the guard's line of sight bein too OPd that you barely have any wiggle room on the wall of a building between a point where he can see ya & a point in which the game deems ya to be too high up to see him making for a high likelihood of failing the mission due to spatial errors inconveniently place at the one building you can climb to a high enough spot that you shouldn't be seen along this particular part of his route. And it definitely doesnt help that a minute before you can start climbing, he is alerted due to another wannabe assassin of Ezio striking from above.
I actually enjoyed some of the mission you mentioned
Honorable mention: “If they want to eat, then they’ll accept Savonarola as their leader.” AC2
