Love Unity because it encourages stealth so much. You really want to plan ahead and make use of your tools if you want to succeed. If you can do that, you’ll almost never have to engage in combat if you don’t want to, and it feels great. I also liked the open approach to assassinations, it feels like you’re infiltrating and locating a target rather than following a set path (barring some sections). Although I can definitely appreciate a simpler experience, unity’s challenges are what made it fun for me.

AC3 was hard? On what planet? Connor is an absolute killing machine, he can murder his way through an entire city worth of guards in like 45 seconds. Easiest combat of the old school AC games by far. Also some of the flashiest!
I’m surprised they did not mention the 100% sync requirements. That’s what makes these games difficult. Combat in AC1 and Unity can be challenging, but require actual skill, timing, and practice. For these reasons I tend to have more fun with the combat in those games
@@jeremytesticleman1607 I never played the game just using the counter, I think that’s why I said it requires skill and practice. If you are utilizing every mechanic available, it’s more work, but more engaging, and fulfilling. I’d get bored if I sat and waited to counter everyone
The way I see a lot of the ac games combat is that it’s as fun as you make it. For instance in the Ezio games and 1 most people will just stand there and wait to be attacked and then counter as the game shows you but if if you change it up a bit on your own like parrying dodging using hidden gun, disarming. It can make the combat much more enjoyable
Liberation is the hardest to complete because you actually need the dedication to go through sweat and tears just to overcome the sheer boringness of that game...
Did I miss you talking about assassins creed part 1. That was hard. On the final couple of bosses, I had to run around in circles to I could fight again.
Most difficult ac game I think it's definitely odyssey because of the amount of hits it takes to kill an enemy and the amount of damage they do to you is a lot.
That happens to me in Valhalla atleast in brotherhood you’re anonymous to enemies that never saw you even though you’re in combat in Valhalla all you gotta do is get close enough and they’re on your ass what’s strange is that you get caught the fastest in Valhalla it’s like they don’t want you to be stealthy shit makes the game boring
@@lol_histicall4289 I love Valhalla, but it never made sense to me why Ubisoft used a viking setting. Because as far as I know, vikings weren't known for their stealth.
My list would be 12. Brotherhood 11. Revelations 10. AC2 9. AC3 8. AC1 7. Black Flag 6. Syndicate 5. Rogue 4. Unity 3. Origins (havent played Valhalla) 1/2. Odyssey
ive only played: Black flag, AC 3, AC 2, Odyssey. and I rank them in that order from easiest combat to hardest combat. In black flag, I was never the slightest bit worried about being detected by a dozen guards.
Valhalla isn't that hard, it does have difficulty options, but it isn't hard, that or I did too many sidequest because I just walked through most things. Odyssey well yes it is hard but once you get the hang on making builds it isn't so bad (unless you meet a chicken then you're doomed. Godamned chickens, far more dangerous than anything else in the game). Honestly, I find the 100% sync requirements of the older games to be a pain in the ass, only one of the older games I ever 100% sync was AC Liberation
For the people that say unity is hard, I think its a skill issue I find naval combat extremly exhausting so props to the people who dont break a sweat doing that
I find all AC games very easy and relaxing except for unity. Its pretty easy for i'd say 3/4 of the game but once your doing level 5 missions It gets very overwhelming. A ton of people start getting crammed into tiny areas making stealth impossible and then then you have to focus on fighting 8 guys with another 20 shooting so I just end up spamming roll and potions. I ended up just taking out as much people as I could with hidden blade, spamming smoke bombs and then luring a couple people at a time near the end of the game 😭
I’m 36 seconds in and I think the hardest one is Odyssey only because they make us do side quests for most of the game. Also it’s like a 50 hour game. They better make Odyssey #1
I'm playing Odyssey for the 1st time now and I'm level 27 and never was forced to do any side content for the sake of gaining xp, until now I did what I felt like doing. Now in Origins I had to do side missions just for xp and that made me connect less to the story.
Yeah I did all the side missions too, I hated how some areas were blocked off in some areas preventing me from doing certain missions and getting treasure
I think the RPG games can be the easiest or the hardest depending on how you play them, because if you wanna rush through the story, you will eventually gonna face too high level enemies that has those skulls which means killing them is impossible and they will one shot you but if you choose to do alot of side missions and stuff, you will became majorly over leveled and probably have OP gear too that destroys enemies and possibly bosses to very easily. The older games can also be made way more tougher if you want 100% sync, because after AC II the games started giving you optional objectives that you have complete with the main one to get 100% sync from the mission, AC3 being the toughest one since you might get up to 3 optional objectives that you also need to complete along with the main mission
Once you get to a certain point with Valhalla’s upgrades and weaponry, every enemy is pretty killable the same way. Odyssey was more difficult because you can hardly make up a set that powers you for archery, combat, and assassinations. Origins was by far the hardest for me, no special powers, just constant dodging and shooting.
I played through all of them again last summer, and AC 1 was the hardest for me because of how outdated and buggy it is. Still disappointed they haven’t announced a remastered version of it. Now outside of this, I do have to agree with Unity being up there as well.
AC Valhalla was the hardest game for me to beat because I never beat it, getting through such a dogshit game is a goal I could not hope to achieve. The sheer patience and tenacity required is beyond me.
Actually: Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla has the "choose your difficulty" from easy to nightmare. I played in easy and even that it was a bit hard. I'm currently 240hs in Valhalla... haven't finished it yet and posting on my other YT the Unity gameplay.... I haven't played the 1st one yet. The rest, except the Valhalla and the 1st instalment, I finished them all. Medusa: a literal pain, but once you know the secrets, it's still hard (because of how long it takes to deal some damage). I see Ezio as a trilogy, I cannot see it separately. I play AC 2 and then it's kinda mandatory play brotherhood and revelations. Something I wish to see more is more clips from PC gamers.
Once you "get" the combat in unity, I don't think there was a more satisfying point in the series. It's so smooth and sexy to be able to really nail the combat sequences.
I am amazed at all the comments about AC3's difficulty. I had a totally different experience, but that's probably mainly because it was the first game from the franchise I ever played (I was a little late getting on the wagon LOL). The combat is just a button masher. Enemies fall to the tomahawk faster than anything. As long as you're completing all contracts, and maintaining your trade business from the homestead, it's easy to keep a decent amount of income to keep upgrading yourself and your ship. Seriously, unless you're trying to get full sync on the stealthier challenges, the game is a breeze. Maybe I'm just really good at it. I dunno.
Loved Rogue, the story is far more put together than Black Flag and the navel combat is bigger and more epic. I'm also a sucker for snowy themed areas so I extra loved Rogue. Rogue's only drawback imo was the story was way too short, 6 sequences is barely above DLC length.
@@solarcry287 Mmm, the thing for me is that Ac1 and 2 are my Blueprint of what this franchise is supposed to be and especially the Parcour element suffers in the american settings due to the lack of verticality and spectacular Buildings to climb which makes the hole viewpoint thing rather tedious. The second and more important thing is that they increased the importance of all this side content, like collecting shit, more and more center of the game. The problem is that i do not play a game like that to spend hours of skinning wildlife or search for letters. All of this worked okay in Ac2 as it was kept very simple and didn't distract all too much but the more the franchise goes on the more extensive these parts got. Playing Rogue really felt like work for me and the constant attacks in the city killed the rest of enjoyment i had with the game. Once I reached that point I knew going forward would only increase my frustration with their "improvements" I love the idea of going to medieval Japan but the second i think about the finished game i only think: Climb 85 Pagodes, Collect 115 Ronin Chopsticks, Build a fishing fleet and a Ricefarm and craft different sushis then build a delivery service, beat 65 guys at Go etc
Collecting all 100 feathers in AC2 what is the most challenging part of the game for me. I spend more time hunting them down than anything else in the game.
As someone who didn't play the modern rpg titles, my most difficult game would be ACB. But that's for 100% sync, not the main objectives though. For overall difficulty AC unity would be up there. But ACB optional objectives was such a pain, even more than AC3. Don't know how many hours i wasted on the tank/flying machine missions for full sync. On the other hand the OG AC game was by far the easiest for me. Here's some of the difficult/memorable missions for me in each game 1. AC - Sneaking up to Sibrand, where you had to jump across boats filled with madmen/drunkards. Doesn't help that Altair can't swim :( Everything else was easy, the combat is so basic, you can literally finish the game without getting a single hit on yourself. 2. AC2 - Sneaking up on a ship during the latter stages of the game, can't remember what memory though... Overall easy game. 3. ACB - By far the hardest game for me, for getting 100% sync, The optional objectives are simply ridiculous. Who tf designed them... From the time limit in tomb explorations to thief races, and then don't get me started on the war machines.. 4. ACR - Much better optional objective requirements in this game. Tough missions for me would be the carriage missions, one at the start and then at the end with the glider. Also Altair's missions with his limited skillset when you're used to Ezio, other than that, pretty moderate. 5. AC3 - Another tough game, but better than ACB. The one mission i clearly remember is the running across the map escaping random mortar shelling from the enemy ships, and then to actually go to them undetected and blowing up their arsenals. Again optional objectives here are a real pain in the ass. 6. AC4 - Easy game for me, as i love ship battles. With the variety of tools at your disposal and Edwards skills, its very easy for me. Toughest mission would be the one with Roberts, where you had to steal a Portuguese flag undetected and rope swing kill the enemy. Also the legendary ship battles are a challenge. 7. AC rogue - Again easy game, but not as much as AC4. Pretty similar to AC4, apart form having assassins on your ass almost all the time. Difficult mission has to be killing Hope. 8. AC unity - This game had the toughest enemies imo. Combat and stealth is complicated and rewarding. Hardest mission would probably be the last one. 9. AC syndicate - All i can say is that this game is more like GTC - grand theft carriage and Batman combined :D. Combat is similar to the previous game but with more unique assassination chances. Makes it more memorable for me than unity. Also hardest mission would probably be the last mission again.
Origins' war elephants, Animus glitches (trials) like Sobek, Anubis, Sekhmet or that f----ing Snake... Challenging OP bosses in normal difficulty too...
Assassin's Creed 2 is pretty easy, but some missions are not. As a kid I struggled with the assasins'tombs and the ship's captain in "bonfire of vanities". And I was able to beat all of AC 1
Brah, AC1 was by far the easiest entry in the series, the hardest part of the whole game was slugging through the parts that you played as Desmond, the combat as Altair was janky and exploitable AF and offered by far the least challenge of the entire series, how on earth does anyone rank it in the top 10, let alone in the top 4
The only two things I really had trouble with on my first playthrough of assassin's creed 3 were certain optional objectives and the stealth in the modern day sections even though it was the first assassin's creed I played
I'd put ac 2 high... Not for Combat or stealth but just for that one mission where you had to kill like a man on a boat and you werent allowed to be detected. I t took me like 20 tries
For me it was the Flying Machine mission that took me forever to beat, I stopped playing ac 2 for a long time because I couldn't beat that stupid mission
That didnt bother me that much... But what bothered me was that some missions desynched you when you were detected by an enemy although you could just walk in and berserk your way through the enemies since they cant leave...
Idk if we are talking about the same mission here… But you cant shoot him if you are not in front of him where 10 enemies are… You need to air assassinate him
Eyy, what’s the name of that song playing under the intro/throughout the video? I was getting some acidic goodness in there and I wanna see where it goes!
Origins because you have to keep track of leveling up everything and you need a certain level for certain missions or else everything will be difficult
I don't get it. How dafuq is AC 3 more difficult than Odyssey or Vallhala??? Who made this top?? I found AC3 one of the easiest games in the franchise. Even easier than Syndicate
Valhalla is literally the easiest one out of them all with combat and Parkour even on nightmare difficulty it still so easy it's just the story that takes forever to compete
It's long as hell well maybe because I have the full version.. But very relaxing and fun to play aside from getting certain materials which was a catch 22
you are soo far gone it's insane... ac 4 was fckin easy.. the only challenge that it would be if it was a bug that occurred in combat and ship floor combat because it is broken kinda but the ship combat itself can be a challenge but for rogue it amplifies it by adding assassin's as well as bounty hunters than can be real trouble if yoi dont know what you are doing plus the ship combat can be even more of a challenge than black flags especially the legendary ship battles but also rogue does add new mechanics in the ship combat that makes it better than black flags...
@@godzillazfriction o think they said it was easier bc it was easier in rogue to find upgrades get money and have better tools, at least that’s how it felt
So what your saying is that in the Ezio games you have to do it a certain way and that there is not enough freedom but then when this is changed for unity to make it more open and broad it’s too confusing
I actually just started Odyseey today and made it to lvl 10 but I'm genuinely considering during the game down the easy. It's not fair for enemies 1 level below my own should be able to take me out in 5 hits when it takes 40 to kill them
The hardest thing that still gives me nightmares is getting full synchronization in the tank mission in ac brother hood😅 anyone familiar will understand
Another Painful part in unity was you had to assassinate the target with hidden blade even if you kill them with sword or gun you had to reach them and stab them with the blade
I'm playing them all in order for the first time and I just got a few hours in Unity and WTF ... I think I've died more already then the others combined.
AC2 was the easiest game. I played it in 2010 on PC and didn't die or fail any mission even once lol. The hardest AC game for me was Black Flag. The two enemy ships that you have to destroy before entering the vault in the final mission was a pain. Chasing Lee in AC3 was also a mindfuck. But the rest of the AC games were cakewalk.
Am I the only one that thinks that AC games aren't that difficult at all? I mean, I love the series, but it isn't exactly a soulslike. The newer rpg-ish games are tougher because of leveling up, but other than that...
These games have a strange difficulty much like their siblings in Prince of Persia.. Some parts are easy while others are quite difficult.. I was curious which was what led me here.. I'm not even close to finishing the series even tho I've had many of the games quite a while.. I was getting pretty deep into Valhalla but decided to take a break to play the earlier stuff..

Assassins creed 1 combo attacks need skill for sure but the combat itself is probably the least skillful out of all games. Just hold RT and inshallah.
And have the patience to deal with it constantly crashing on PS5. More annoying that Syndicate's flickering
Syndicate is anyways not that great of a game…
Unity's combat really tested me and was very enjoyable.
Did I miss you talking about assassins creed part 1. That was hard. On the final couple of bosses, I had to run around in circles to I could fight again.
Running in circles... greatest strategy in many games.
there is no ac game called part 1
Honorable mention to Chronicles China, it is quite challenging if you try to complete it as a shadow (without killing and being spotted)
I actually think China is the easiest of the chronicles trilogy. They got frustratingly difficult with each one
I thought those games were such a breath of fresh air after grinding collectibles in the main games
Most difficult ac game I think it's definitely odyssey because of the amount of hits it takes to kill an enemy and the amount of damage they do to you is a lot.
if you do good build you can 1-shot all enemy
Not all enemies
AC unity can litteraly have 25 mfs guarding a single house spread around 2 houses away from the one they protect
Yes absolutely
And it didn't help that you kept getting caught by EVERYONE in unity.
Yeah, got noticed by guards in a romm and suddenly the whole building knows me
That happens to me in Valhalla atleast in brotherhood you’re anonymous to enemies that never saw you even though you’re in combat in Valhalla all you gotta do is get close enough and they’re on your ass what’s strange is that you get caught the fastest in Valhalla it’s like they don’t want you to be stealthy shit makes the game boring
@@lol_histicall4289 I love Valhalla, but it never made sense to me why Ubisoft used a viking setting. Because as far as I know, vikings weren't known for their stealth.
The hardest is 3 because those full sync objectives are a NIGHTMARE
My list would be
12. Brotherhood
11. Revelations
10. AC2
9. AC3
8. AC1
7. Black Flag
6. Syndicate
5. Rogue
4. Unity
3. Origins
(havent played Valhalla)
1/2. Odyssey
Love your videos
To me the most fun is Odyssey. Many bosses and different hierarchy enemies. Also the other mercenaries make the game fun to play
Played ODYSSEY 3000 hours...
ive only played: Black flag, AC 3, AC 2, Odyssey. and I rank them in that order from easiest combat to hardest combat. In black flag, I was never the slightest bit worried about being detected by a dozen guards.
I played Valhalla til the end and enjoyed just the first 10 of 100 hours. It was frustrating to complete. But not because of the difficulty.
For the people that say unity is hard, I think its a skill issue
I find naval combat extremly exhausting so props to the people who dont break a sweat doing that
I find all AC games very easy and relaxing except for unity.
Here's my Ranking: Hardest to easiest
01. Assassins Creed Odyssey
02. Assassins Creed Valhalla
03. Assassins Creed Origins
04. Assassins Creed
05. Assassins Creed Unity
06. Assassins Creed IV Black Flag
07. Assassins Creed III
08. Assassins Creed Rogue
09. Assassins Creed Syndicate
10. Assassins Creed Liberation
11. Assassins Creed Brotherhood
12. Assassins Creed Revelations
13. Assassins Creed II
Love your video and my favorite is Black flags
Valhalla was very easy for me since I did a lot of side missions
Yeah I did all the side missions too, I hated how some areas were blocked off in some areas preventing me from doing certain missions and getting treasure
@@MoxmOne I did so many I was op I beat the game using hand to hand also true
I think the RPG games can be the easiest or the hardest depending on how you play them, because if you wanna rush through the story, you will eventually gonna face too high level enemies that has those skulls which means killing them is impossible and they will one shot you but if you choose to do alot of side missions and stuff, you will became majorly over leveled and probably have OP gear too that destroys enemies and possibly bosses to very easily. The older games can also be made way more tougher if you want 100% sync, because after AC II the games started giving you optional objectives that you have complete with the main one to get 100% sync from the mission, AC3 being the toughest one since you might get up to 3 optional objectives that you also need to complete along with the main mission
in like 2010 when i played ac for the first time, the boss fight against robert was like dark souls its was so difficult 😩
😂
Once you get to a certain point with Valhalla’s upgrades and weaponry, every enemy is pretty killable the same way.
Odyssey was more difficult because you can hardly make up a set that powers you for archery, combat, and assassinations.
Origins was by far the hardest for me, no special powers, just constant dodging and shooting.
For me the hardest one is Odyssey. Not because of the difficulty per say, but because tive map is a beast.
I would say put Rogue before Black Flag, mostly due to the fact that the legendary ship battles in Rogue are noticeably easier than Black Flag
I played through all of them again last summer, and AC 1 was the hardest for me because of how outdated and buggy it is. Still disappointed they haven’t announced a remastered version of it. Now outside of this, I do have to agree with Unity being up there as well.
Gotta be odyssey I tried to fight Medusa under-leveled and it did not go well. The game forces u to grind side content just to complete main missions.
AC Valhalla was the hardest game for me to beat because I never beat it, getting through such a dogshit game is a goal I could not hope to achieve. The sheer patience and tenacity required is beyond me.
I remember playing Revelations when it came out and always screwing up the den defenses lol
12: assassin's creed 2

I dunno.
the story is easy as hell, but the naval contracts are bullshit to 100%
Rouge is so underrated
Also number 1 isn't difficult it is fun to play and in its time it was quite a good game
Definitely difficult
Loved Rogue, the story is far more put together than Black Flag and the navel combat is bigger and more epic. I'm also a sucker for snowy themed areas so I extra loved Rogue. Rogue's only drawback imo was the story was way too short, 6 sequences is barely above DLC length.
It's strange how tastes can differ. In my case Rogue cured me from any desire to ever play another game in the francise.
@@stephanclemens2348 Why??
Once I reached that point I knew going forward would only increase my frustration with their "improvements"
I love the idea of going to medieval Japan but the second i think about the finished game i only think: Climb 85 Pagodes, Collect 115 Ronin Chopsticks, Build a fishing fleet and a Ricefarm and craft different sushis then build a delivery service, beat 65 guys at Go etc
Collecting all 100 feathers in AC2 what is the most challenging part of the game for me. I spend more time hunting them down than anything else in the game.
I agree with you.
It was worth it to see the heartwarming moments between Ezio and his mother though. (And the cape also looked great I guess)
I never found any Assassin's Creed game especially difficult. RPG ones on higher difficulties are difficult.
Imagine a smaller AC game with souls like difficulty & combat. Nuts
Here's some of the difficult/memorable missions for me in each game
Unity is my all time favorite assassin creed game
Finally, someone who has some taste
Smmmmm
3 is my personal favorite

Assassin's Creed 2 is pretty easy, but some missions are not. As a kid I struggled with the assasins'tombs and the ship's captain in "bonfire of vanities". And I was able to beat all of AC 1
Assassins creed games aren't that difficult. Depends how good you're with stealth.
AC1's combat is literally the easiest in the series. You just conter everyone and they get instakilled
its same with every game before unity
No. Odessey should be number 1 . Do you kmow how long it takes to level up
Watch mojo can never make a good list
I'd put ac 2 high... Not for Combat or stealth but just for that one mission where you had to kill like a man on a boat and you werent allowed to be detected. I t took me like 20 tries
For me it was the Flying Machine mission that took me forever to beat, I stopped playing ac 2 for a long time because I couldn't beat that stupid mission
That didnt bother me that much... But what bothered me was that some missions desynched you when you were detected by an enemy although you could just walk in and berserk your way through the enemies since they cant leave...
i just shot the dude
Hate that mission. Somehow managed to finish it by accident.
Idk if we are talking about the same mission here… But you cant shoot him if you are not in front of him where 10 enemies are… You need to air assassinate him
Eyy, what’s the name of that song playing under the intro/throughout the video? I was getting some acidic goodness in there and I wanna see where it goes!
ac 3 and unity my 2 favourites games
Origins because you have to keep track of leveling up everything and you need a certain level for certain missions or else everything will be difficult
The boat missions on AC4 game me PTSD with boat missions (I barely upgraded my ship I’m pretty sure lol)
Assassin’s creed on PlayStation 3 back then it was easy to get though but now it’s glitching as hell I still play it because I love a challenge
Try AC Odyssey in Nightmare 😉
*AC3 additional objectives in real life*
_Day 2_
_Main Obj: Survive_
_Additional Obj: Dont eat for 7 days_
The hardest part in all of the entries are trying to look awesome in parkour and assassinating people.
I don't get it. How dafuq is AC 3 more difficult than Odyssey or Vallhala??? Who made this top?? I found AC3 one of the easiest games in the franchise. Even easier than Syndicate
If you think AC2 is easy, you never had to capture the flag without looking up a guide
odyssey on nightmare is a pain in the ass
ong
Valhalla is literally the easiest one out of them all with combat and Parkour even on nightmare difficulty it still so easy it's just the story that takes forever to compete
It's long as hell well maybe because I have the full version.. But very relaxing and fun to play aside from getting certain materials which was a catch 22
AC Syndicate is my favourite 🥰
let me be honest, Rogue was easy, but Black Flag did not
Wtf, ac rogue is easier than ac 4.
you are soo far gone it's insane... ac 4 was fckin easy.. the only challenge that it would be if it was a bug that occurred in combat and ship floor combat because it is broken kinda but the ship combat itself can be a challenge but for rogue it amplifies it by adding assassin's as well as bounty hunters than can be real trouble if yoi dont know what you are doing plus the ship combat can be even more of a challenge than black flags especially the legendary ship battles but also rogue does add new mechanics in the ship combat that makes it better than black flags...
AC3 Black Flag Brotherhood and AC2 outta respect are the MT Rushmore of this franchise
I actually just started Odyseey today and made it to lvl 10 but I'm genuinely considering during the game down the easy. It's not fair for enemies 1 level below my own should be able to take me out in 5 hits when it takes 40 to kill them

Ac origins combat is really difficult
AC2 was the easiest game. I played it in 2010 on PC and didn't die or fail any mission even once lol. The hardest AC game for me was Black Flag. The two enemy ships that you have to destroy before entering the vault in the final mission was a pain. Chasing Lee in AC3 was also a mindfuck. But the rest of the AC games were cakewalk.
Played every game multiple times, Odyssey on hardest difficulty is hardest game by far, not even close to the others !
Am I the only one that thinks that AC games aren't that difficult at all? I mean, I love the series, but it isn't exactly a soulslike.
The newer rpg-ish games are tougher because of leveling up, but other than that...
beside the main games, the most difficult assassin's creed game is chronicles
Ac Black Flag is easy asf, except for those damn man'o wars
These games have a strange difficulty much like their siblings in Prince of Persia.. Some parts are easy while others are quite difficult.. I was curious which was what led me here.. I'm not even close to finishing the series even tho I've had many of the games quite a while.. I was getting pretty deep into Valhalla but decided to take a break to play the earlier stuff..
