Been playing Ezio collection and actually rage quit the dlc mission with the monk who stole the apple today. There is a mission where you have to undetected assassinate someone on a ship surround by like 10 guards. Failed 20 times in a row and quit. Have not played the game in awhile but don't remember any mission in Ezio trilogy being that hard. One of the only games where I think the dlc actively makes the game worse and I wish it never existed.
Honestly, I found all of the underwater diving bell missions in AC 4 really frustrating. Sharks are relentless and everywhere, your breath is constantly running out and there is a limit to air barrels. That’s without mentioning the Moray Eels which are, well… designed to give you a heart attack.
The Legendary Ships were the only parts of Black Flag and Rogue that were genuinely difficult, but the trick is to know their attack patterns to outsmart their AI (also YOU WILL NOT WIN WITHOUT MAX ARMOR AND FIREPOWER, trust me). The Forts are only hard if you go at them without your ship being sufficiently upgraded. That aside, everything else was easy, mostly because I'd played through the games multiple times, and so anyone else who's done so as well will know what's coming and when.
I did well against most of the legendary ships in all of the games. I wanted to make sure I won so I maxed out my Jackdaw and Morrigan. However, my biggest problem was El Impoluto and Storm Fortress because they broke the laws of physics by turning and cornering at crazy, crazy speeds. Interestingly, to defeat both of them, I had the same method. You have to lure the ship towards you, slow it down and use the fire barrels/flaming oil and create a trail for the enemy ship to take damage gradually. This was the only time in both games that I used the rear guns of both ships.
Leonardo Da Vinci tank god that thing was a nightmare and a half. Also Catch a courier from AC 3 was very difficult to get 100% sync on cause you had to do an air assassination on the guy.He was very fast and you had to get ahead of him and then times it correctly which was very tricky.
the fastest way is to be right behind him when he goes up and as soon as he goes down jump on him, OR force him off a ledges hes going up and jump on him
When replaying ezio trilogy again recently, I tried to get 100% whenever I could and the tank was impossible. "Don't take damage" as you lock me in an arena with two other tanks with my slow moving ahss. And one hit means replaying the entire sequence cause dysncing to before the hit still counts it as a fail. You gotta get the tank again f that.
@@x0gucx there was a glitch you could do before you enter the battle you back out of the arena the way you came in,if you back out enough it wont de sync you and you can shoot the tanks but they cant hit you.

Very recently I returned to Odyssey to do the DLCs and get the platinum. (Side note: I’m a diehard AC fan who was very skeptical of the RPGs, but Odyssey is a fucking great game when you approach it *as an RPG* and surprisingly it became one of my favourites after that second playthrough.) When I returned, I took the time to put together a solid CRIT build. Shortly after I encountered the Daughters of Artemis line: I realised these were the quests I’d heard so many horror stories about, and with great trepidation, I set out to hunt the Kalydonian Boar. Only to then kill it in 2 hits 💀 So for anyone struggling, invest a bit of time into putting together a CRIT build and you’ll steamroll everything, even in Nightmare mode. You want to achieve 100% CRIT chance at full health and then prioritise CRIT damage and damage with swords/X weapon type (depending on your main weapon choice). I also strongly recommend you look into the Bighorn Bow, which is essential to a lot of the best builds (it’s from the Helix Store but you can get it with the free 200 Helix Credits the game gives you). You know you’ve performed a critical hit when your damage is displayed with a yellow (not white) number, significantly increasing your damage. With a 100% CRIT chance at full health, this means you can instantly assassinate any enemy, even mercenaries, without needing to use the Knife of Dallwun or even the Critical Assassination ability; headshots with the bow are also insta-kills; and you will kill any boss in the game/DLCs within like 2-5 hits. It’s downright broken, but it allows you to play Odyssey a lot like the classic AC games. Epic (purple) armour works best if you strike the right engravings, which depends on luck/Blacksmith resetting; but you can also make a decent CRIT build using just the Pirate Set, for a guaranteed loadout with zero grind. Also reference the Engravings page on the AC wiki, since specific engravings will only appear on certain gear pieces. For simplicity, I strongly recommend you check out T7 PDM’s RUclips channel (not at all affiliated). He does super comprehensive Odyssey build guides, including one for the aforementioned Pirate Set, which I found incredibly helpful. They will give you literally everything you need to get going and breeze through the game in a 15 min video, if you don’t want to spend time planning a build for yourself. He also has some great explanations on how damage works in the game. Odyssey is ultimately an RPG, so a strong build is a huge game-changer that can trivialise even the toughest enemies. Again, if you’re struggling make a CRIT build and you’ll never look back 😛
The hardest mission in AC Revelations (at first I mistakenly called it Brotherhood) is in Cappadocia where you have to infiltrate enemy fortress. It must be done without taking damage for 100% synс and it's hard because you will meet about 8-10 packs of enemies. So, first of all, this is a long mission and you need to be constantly concentrated so as not to miss a hit. Parrying sometimes doesn't work if you're being attacked from different directions or one hit occurs while you're parrying another.
ye this was in revelations but i HATED that one good god idk how many times i replayed it to get 100% sync 😭 i tried smoke bombs, chain kills, whatever i could… it was exhausting
All of these bring up terrible memories for me. Except for "In n Out" because that's one of the few times I get to do my favorite type of Assassination. A Bench Assassination.
For me "The Chase" was the hardest mission in Assassin's Creed III because of that damn fort. Yes, it is a naval side mission so I get that why it wouldn't be on here.
There is a bug with the AC2 boat mission. If you accept the mission, run into the town and get detected - it won't desync. All you have to do is, go to the boat with like 10 guards chasing you and you can kill the captain immeditaly. This is actually the easiest lieutenant mission in this way (but I agree, it's very hard otherwise).
I honestly did not have that hard of a time with any mission in AC Syndicate except 1 and it wasn't Lucy Thorne's Assassination mission. Had an easy time with most of the game but surprisingly what was the most frustrating for me was Queen Victoria's second to last mission which ended with trying to get a lit explosive wagon to safety before it explodes. Sounds simple right? Well to get 100% sync you have to get to the location in under 80 seconds and the streets are jam packed with obstacles that you are bound to ram into a poor civilian wagon before you get there, and if you take too long you won't be able to get 100% sync. Played the whole of AC syndicate with very little difficulties but the only mission that genuinely frustrated me was a mission that is only unlocked when you beat the game.
I "cheesed" with the gun in a way that still felt genuine to the game by first assassinating the ones traveling from midlle to back and the one on the peer then shooting the guy that travels middeck to front portside which prompted the target to approach portside opening and a large gaurd to stand gaurd in front of the ship which allowed me to sneak behind th guard and ledge assasinate the target all without anyone even looking my way
You can kill the banker in a non intended stupid way too. Grab him, throw him close to a bench, social blend on that bench, then when he gets up, bench kill him. For some reason he doesn’t get alerted despite being grabbed and thrown down by Ezio.
Fulke was quite easy even though i was around 40 power less than the recommended amount, the easiest part was to just use my arrows to break oil jars and spam r1 with varins axe and dodging to get closer to her when she gets pushed back, this technique doesnt allow them to attack, its also how i beat basim in the little ancient underground area in hordafylke, the game just needs strategy not any special attacks, just a simple attack pattern
I've been going back and playing through AC games and getting the platinum for any I can. I did the Unity one by myself doing the co-op missions and finding the bonus skill points.
The hardest mission for me, as a 100% sync player, was definitely the tank mission in AC Brotherhood. You have to stealth inflitrate an entire fortress and then escape with a tank with clunky movement AND not get hit by anything for 100%. A mistake there would easily cost you 20 minutes... I cannot remember how often i needed to restart this mission.
So not all games then just main line games. I don't see the Chronicle games, nor Liberation or Freedom Cry. I was half expecting to see AC Liberation Supply the Revolution mission in the swamp where you can't let the raft drop to less than 50% health, can't touch the water aka no swimming and can't shoot just meele is allowed if you want the 100% sync. If you screwed the parkour you were screwed. Damn this mission to hell! This was the first AC game I ever 100% synced but this mission and one of the Mexico missions where you need to win a fight without taking damage for that 100% sync almost broke me.
Ive been playing the assassin's creed games in release order, and Co-op missions for Unity have been the hardest for me. Not because i cant find people to play with, but because when i do, i only have 2 minutes to play before the game freezes and then crashes
I did the tournament solo on AC unity to get the platinum trophy. Fortunately you can restart at last checkpoint instead of restarting the entire memory.
I don't know why people struggle with Septimius. I had seen many posts/videos about this, so when I went to face him I expected hard fight. Then beat him 1st try with 0 problems. I had much more trouble beating Flavius.
Every AC game from the first one to Odyssey (as far as I have played) has had at least 1 mission that has made me want to ragequit, but only AC3 was successfully able to make me throw the game in the garbage and never play it again. It was a stealth mission that was actually pretty early on in the game too. Something involving a field and getting caught being an autofail. Nope. I ejected the game, threw it out, popped in Black Flag and never looked back. I still put AC3 as the worst AC game by default because of that terrible mission.
Dude the assassins creed 2 one was so hard when I was 8 I got there and i couldn’t kill him without being seen but a year later I beat the mission and finally 40 hours into the game I beat one of the best story ever
I remember having the best glitch in "A Thorne in the Side" climbed up the wall, freed that prisoner and I got zapped into the cutscene where Evie killed her😂 Personally, the worst mission in Syndicate was escorting that politician's wife and her dog on her walk through the "not so friendly " neighborhood 😅
"A Thorne in the Side" is not that difficult. With a little patience, you can easily get the royal to ignore you (which makes moving outside of the tower A LOT easier) and have a nearly direct path to your target. Now, "Live by the Creed, Die by the Creed" (from the Jack the Ripper DLC) will drive you nuts. At the end of the mission, you need to face Jack the Ripper himself. However, Jack is immune to everything you have and can do except two things: smoke bombs and surprise. You need to evade him in a fairly small room with no way to replenish your tools and wait for him to stop running after you and walk by the place where you are hidden (and no, you no longer turn invisible while stalking and immobile like in the late main game) You then attack him (which can one-shot everything else in the game) and have to repeat the process one or two more times. Then, Lambert inmates come to beat you up while you try to find and finish Jack (now without his earlier defenses). I however successfully beat Jack yesterday after being unable to land a single hit with the smoke bombs so I had to win without this tool. The Jack the Ripper DLC felt like it was meant for people who thought the main game too easy: most ennemies are as strong as you (or stronger) making combats way less forgiving than in the main game, missions are more difficult, and you have access to your complete arsenal and tools in fighting rings (because they are that intense).
altair can actually swim(how can you even become a master assassin if you cant swim). its a glich in the animus that made it unable to swim. it was repaired when we play as ezio
Me personally found that circus type area in revelations, I could just never sneak past any of the guards and if I tried to kill any of them a different guard would see me. So I just stopped playing the game entirely
100% synching Revelations Carriage ride was annoying. You can't lose a single bar of health despite all the obstacles incoming new enemies that get a free swipe at you and constantly having throw guys off your carriage.
Lucy's mission from syndicate is not that bad - it is mostly long. I just did the optional goals and the royal guards would stop being aggresive. Then all I had to do was to poison one of the templars and he killed Lucy. Anticlimatic, sure.
Port Authority: Sooo...the gun is fine despite being incredibly loud, but the throwing knives aren't because they take two to kill?...yeah that sounds right! 🤣
I'm so stupid, I wish I would've lowered the difficulty on that boar. Instead I brute forced it like I used to brute force the Endurance races on Gran Turismo 3.
Odyessey was really easy for me I just got the Achille's armor and the poison daggers from that one legendary mercenary and then couldn't die(the Achille's armor heals you the same no matter what unless the enemy is a civilian) the only time I ever died was because the game sent all the mercenaries in the pool and blew me up over and over again with bombs so I couldn't get up with the armor and dagger I finished the game without ever using the adrenaline bar.
I genuinely thought that Black Flag and Rogue legendary ships were way too easy. With a fully upgraded jackdaw You could toast a level 60 man o war, in like 40 seconds. I remember beating the storm fortress in less than two minutes. In black flag, HMS Prince was a bit tougher than the rest of them, but only by a little bit. But I think the level 99 legendary ship was actually really easy. The chase mission where you're supposed catch hope, that's the hardest mission in the game. Because her mechanics are just really stupid. If you don't let her get to the end of her running path, the game literally freaks out. I had to run the mission over 10 times just to figure out that thinking doesn't intend for you to catch up to her. In funny enough, after you kill her, I dumped her body somewhere really far away, into the water, like, over a kilometer, and they're like, oh, we found her body, I'm like, bullshit. So, yeah, I think you're wrong about Rogue's hardest mission. Because I really found that last legendary fight to be pretty damn easy. Basically the way you do it is you stay in between two of the legendary ships and then they can't fire on you because they'd hit themselves and then I would just basically keep mortaring the storm fortress and then once the storm fortress was low I just Went on the two other legendary ships and just dropped truck on them like a glass canning and just kept heavy-sharding them and mortaring them and within like a minute I had both down.
Okay, this list is fundamentally flawed, because, most of these missions are frustrating but not hard. Perfect example: Medusa is BY FAR the most difficult mission in Odyssey El Impuluto is by far the toughest thing in Black Flag.
The Kalydonian boar is easy really (it does help to be at least 2 levels above it), the second boar is the one that drives me insane. You have to constantly keep moving so you don't breath in it's fart gas........🙄
The Daughters of Artemis quest is actually one of the easiest once you figure it out. I can beat every one of the beasts in 10-30 seconds on hard using a Hunter build, poison and Devastating Shot and have the videos to prove it on my channel. The hardest one is Medusa
Fun fact: Altaïr could swim, but a glitch in the programming of Animus 1.28 caused him to drown when he got in contact with water. The glitch was corrected in Animus 2.0, when you play as Ezio!
In AC 3 for me was that stupid mission in witch you have to spy on some dudes . The anoing part was ur on there outside of there ship and if you get detected even by the npc that you are killing ur have to restart the dam thing...
The jailbreak mission was pretty easy i just used the mercenaries to get in the last part i didn't fight them i ran away without getting hit the hard mission is the the banker in brotherhood and the black flag tailing mission
I'll keep saying that the venomous boar in AC Odyssey is the worst mission and the mission that u have to kill like 9 persons in AC 2 is the worst too... Cause Origins and Valhalla are pretty easy (yeah all u need is time to finish it all but that's it) And Mirage maybe is me but I find it a little difficult too and AC 3 is difficult too (at least for me idk)
Which AC mission made you want to rage quit?

The cairns in Valhalla. Fulke was a damn cakewalk compared to those.
The Daughters of Lerion were more difficult
The daughters is a side mission. You can skip it and still progress the game
@@esf5328 Goddess Hunt in Odyssey is also a side mission you can skip
I remember in Revelations there was an even harder challenge, where we had to defeat a heavily armoured military general in combat
I've been going back and playing through AC games and getting the platinum for any I can. I did the Unity one by myself doing the co-op missions and finding the bonus skill points.
The tournament in unity and Legendary ships are Nightmares... I genuinely felt scared when i saw The Tournament mission in this video
I found that quest in Odyssey to be easy TBH 🤷
yeah i had the same thought with the mission in Mirage
“In and Out” is gonna turn me into an alcoholic. Lol. I have an Xbox 360 at my Grandpa’s, and I’m still stuck on that damn mission.
The mission in AC3 where you set 2 ships on fire was a pain for full synch
Ac Brotherhood at the end when you have to escape from like 30 MFrs drove me crazy.
This is lowkey making me wanna play all the assassins creed games again
I remember having the best glitch in "A Thorne in the Side" climbed up the wall, freed that prisoner and I got zapped into the cutscene where Evie killed her😂
Personally, the worst mission in Syndicate was escorting that politician's wife and her dog on her walk through the "not so friendly " neighborhood 😅
Bro that unity mission led me to quitting gaming for like a month (i didn't know how to do co op)
Unity that last boss going into that castle and trying to get not spotted was THE WORST I’m surprised it didn’t make it here in the video
I didn't play Odyssey yet, but the hardest so far are the battles against the pharaohs in the Curse of the Pharaohs DLC of Origins
The rifts in unity piss me off as they are timed and the later ones have such a high goal.
always loved Fulke's sword..sad that you can't have it in the game even after defeating her
honestly I think the Fight with Basim was the hardest fight and It took me 1 week IRL of trying to beat him the first time around
altair can actually swim(how can you even become a master assassin if you cant swim). its a glich in the animus that made it unable to swim. it was repaired when we play as ezio
Me personally found that circus type area in revelations, I could just never sneak past any of the guards and if I tried to kill any of them a different guard would see me. So I just stopped playing the game entirely
The ghost ship from AC BF it wasn´t so hard for me as the other legendary ships i destroyed it on my first encounter
The one from brotherhood was a pain! Ironically the moment I stopped being careful, I ended up beating it.😂
With the banker in ACB I went through the rooftops and broke the mission in half. The only issue I had was with the ending bit. 😅
Worst part about the tournament mission in unity is that if you’re trying to 100% the game you have to do it multiple times 😭
WatchMojo: "Here are the toughest missions"
Also WatchMojo: [shows them being executed flawlessly]
6:32 This mission is hard ONLY when you are playing solo, not co-op so co-op missions shouldnt be listed here
Port Authority: Sooo...the gun is fine despite being incredibly loud, but the throwing knives aren't because they take two to kill?...yeah that sounds right! 🤣
The assassins creed brotherhood mission, “when in Rome,” was truly not that difficult if you made use of the courtesan’s that littered the map.
Tank on brotherhood is very hard
I'm so stupid, I wish I would've lowered the difficulty on that boar. Instead I brute forced it like I used to brute force the Endurance races on Gran Turismo 3.
When I seen this video I knew the AC1 mission in the vid is the hardest one by far, you have go on the docks like you said instant death
The only time I really had difficulty with an assassin"s creed game is with black flag's legendary ship duo
One tip for players having a hardtime on kalydonian boar get a 3star bounty and go to the boar and just hide
Actually the ones in Syndicate and BlackFlag were some of the easier and more fun parts of those games to me.
I almost ragequit trying to kill bellec in unity. Found out my game was bugged...
Fenrir in Valhalla took me ages.
Perfect example: Medusa is BY FAR the most difficult mission in Odyssey
El Impuluto is by far the toughest thing in Black Flag.
Assassin's creed valhalla it's BASIM that is the hardest
Assassin's creed odyssey it's MEDUSA that's bloody ridiculous
The Kalydonian boar is easy really (it does help to be at least 2 levels above it), the second boar is the one that drives me insane. You have to constantly keep moving so you don't breath in it's fart gas........🙄
I wonder what you would consider the hardest mission in AC Liberation and AC Freedom Cry though?
First boar in origins is the easiest. There is a ledge you can cljmb at the back of the cave where the boar cannot reach you
The tournament on unity pissed me off so many times
The Daughters of Artemis quest is actually one of the easiest once you figure it out. I can beat every one of the beasts in 10-30 seconds on hard using a Hunter build, poison and Devastating Shot and have the videos to prove it on my channel. The hardest one is Medusa
try it on the hardest mode not hard mode noob
I just set the difficulty to easy and its super easy!
I felt that all the legendary ships were incredibly easy lol (including the storm fortress)
Fun fact:
Altaïr could swim, but a glitch in the programming of Animus 1.28 caused him to drown when he got in contact with water. The glitch was corrected in Animus 2.0, when you play as Ezio!
I agree with these and love your video
The tournament alone is easy if you know the route.
If you’ve ever found an AC mission hard gaming might not be for you
I used a torch for the kalydonian boar, got a video on youtube showing it.
Made it so easy to beat them 😂😂
2 me
I suggest play whole 10th anniversary each one.
So origin already done that here in 2014 play Assassin's Creed Unity 🇨🇵 with Xbox or PS5
On the Sibrand assassination we can go around the water
Should change the title to the MOST ANNOYING missions! 😂 especially the black flag one!
In AC 3 for me was that stupid mission in witch you have to spy on some dudes .
The anoing part was ur on there outside of there ship and if you get detected even by the npc that you are killing ur have to restart the dam thing...
I heard every pirate ship mission that’s featured in assassins creed are the worst and looks like I heard correctly.
The jailbreak mission was pretty easy i just used the mercenaries to get in the last part i didn't fight them i ran away without getting hit the hard mission is the the banker in brotherhood and the black flag tailing mission
I agree with black flags choice. Stealth with a ship? No thanks.
the big elephan in origins is 100X HARDER than septimius
The Tournament is straight up shit... And AC1 gotta be that mission where they chuck 100,000+ guards at you.
Amazing video
Replaying Black Flag on Xbox One and I am chasing the Sage through Nassau and I’m not having much luck 😂
The mission where I had to kill that banker was infuriating due to those stupid musicians always running up to Ezio which got me detected.
the 'storm fortress' was not an actual mission, it was a side ACTIVITY, and thus must be disqualified from 'the hardest MISSION' qualifier
Assassins creed 2, the hay guy
Altair can swim its because of an animus bug that he can’t in the first game
