Killing Haytham was saddening to me he may’ve been a Templar but he actually had the colonies best interest at heart as proven by AC 3 & Rouge, and he did open up and show remorse and care towards Connor and I’d even go as far as to say Haytham let Connor kill him bcos he didn’t want to kill his son
You are right, he let Connor kill him, he knew there was no coming back he just couldn't see the world the way Connor did which is something he wished he could, he kind of envied Connor his beliefs but his inability to share them was what made him realize that only one of them can live and he cared about Connor too much to choose his own survival over Connor's. Before he started choking him he let go of his hand knowing about his hidden blade that pretty much speaks for itself.
If you think killing Haytham was satisfying, you did not pay enough attention during the game. It was unsatisfying on purpose and it was a vital part of the narrative.
Don't really agree about Haytham. The ones that I found satisfying were (in no particular order): - Berenike/The Crocodile (Origins) - Fulke (Valhalla) - Charles Lee (III) - Cesare Borgia (Brotherhood) - Flavius/The Lion (Origins) - Crawford Starrick (Syndicate) - Francois-Thomas German (Unity) - Al Mualim (I) - Abbas Sofian (Revelations) - Bartholomew Roberts (Black Flag)
I fucking hated abbas and roberts. if i had to pick though, i'd say killing roberts was more satisfying as you had to put up with his shit for so much longer. Abbas was really only in like 3 missions
I was so excited for the moment when Connor would kill Charles Lee. But by the time finally happened, it wasn’t as satisfying as I thought it would be. There’s just something about killing a downed man who’s no longer in power that feels so… wrenching.
Yeah there's definitely more of a feeling of "It's finally over" as far as the cat and mouse between Connor and Charles goes. Like they're both just so exhausted from this fight that's been going on for years that there's no satisfaction. It's purely finishing the job.
I think that may have been the point finding that the thing Connor wanted the whole time ended up just being another assassination of a man who has nothing left anyway almost as of killing him hardly matters anymore
@@gavichealsomething2169 black box missions? No it didn't. AC1 assassinations are sensational, but Unity and Syndicate really nailed it with the black box mission types.
Haha the old lady at the tree who stole the baby in Argolis was the most annoying to be fair she was always running away halfway to her death, just wanted to gut her open!!!! Then the other woman that had a twin sister locked herself up at the temple on kythera island south of Lakonia for her own safety cuz she couldn’t trust anyone from outside that possibly wanted her dead, so you had to choose to save one or kill the other! I chose wrong bm, killed the good girl.. the bad one tricked me with her excuse so then I wanted to kill her even more.
@@gavinziozios1431 in AC Rogue (you played as a templar) you killed all the Colonial American assassins except Achilles, this includes Adewale, who was in his 50's or 60's
There are just characters that you hate sooo much that you’re just waiting for the moment they die, and when it finally happens, you’re like “thank you!!!” Cesare Borgia and Charles Lee are great examples of this.
Lee got something no other target gets. He gets to accept his fate. Most are struck down suddenly, Lee sees it coming and even shares a final, honourable drink with Connor before the deed. His death touched me, for all his actions he at least was an honest man at the end.
The truth about Colonial America Templars is that they wasn't fighting for domination, they was actually trying to help people by control, and while some are stupid or nothing more than hired arms, the main people of the order were honorable and respectful
For being a hypocritical religious power hungry figure, i kinda felt sorry for him. First he realized in AC 2 he was not a chosen one, totally giving up on fighting, while afterwards he gave power to his son, but this one ends up killed by him
One for me was Chrysis, from odyssey. She was the one that took the protagonist's sibling (depending on who you choose) from their home and turned them into the villain that they are today, and even worse, attempts to burn a baby right in front of the protagonist. All while insulting, laughing, and showing absolutely no signs of remorse or regret for her actions. Not to mention... Her voice is sooooo irritating. Luckily, even if you choose to save the baby, you do get the chance to kill her dnyway, and give her the most painful throat slit ever.
Bayek absolutely smashing the head of medanum is the bloodiest and most satisfying death in all of ac and shows that bayek is not messing around with the order of the ancients
I absolutely disagree with Haytham because he is one of the most important and intriguing characters in the entire series and he let his guard down because he did not want to Kill Connor and let him have the upper hand
Berenike being a child killing crazy lady in Assassin’s Creed Origins made it very satisfying to cut the Crocodile down so I would’ve included her in this list.
My personal list of most satisfying assassinations in this franchise. 1: Ceasere 2: Torres 3: Flavius 4: Fulke 5: Manuel I actually felt sorry that Haythem had to be assassinated despite all that he did up till then.
Cesare’s death satisfying because of the buildup to the kill, Ezio’s line “then I leave you in the hands of fate.” Getting to put a end his rampage as well as finally shutting him up. The Ezio trilogy was definitely the peak of the series. AC3 had a almost completely forgeable storyline for Conor and killed off Desmond with no plan on how drive the series going forward. The combat and story were the only things going for black flag but that gets overshadowed by infuriating stealth and tailing sections that are entirely too frequent given the pirate background. From there it’s almost completely downhill after that
Remember in AC2, sometimes when you counter-kill it shows a little scene of you killing a guard. That happened when I got Vieri plus slow motion blood flow on kill.
Considering the narrative, the only real satisfying AC kills are off those of the people with no remorse and only self serving interest. And boy, though i only played up untill AC liberations so far, there are actually very few characters fitting that description. They either were under pressure from the ones that where standing above them, believed they did good and had actually decent constructive dialogue to explain their point of view, they were brainwashed by the apple or just overall power or a combination of those.
Playing as Shay the traitorous assassin to Templar was such a satisfying way especially at the point of killing some who weren’t supposed to. 😅 NGL though Vieri’s death was complete udder disrespectful but satisfying to shut him up.
My top 3 will always be 1. Uberto for killing Ezios family, 2. Fulke in Valhalla and 3. The crazy woman in Odyssey who took your sibling as a baby and tortured them
10:35- 10:39 Then again in AC Revelations when Ezio, disguised as a lute player, sings a hilarious ode to Caesare! 🎵Caesare, Caesare, Caesare, a man of such depravity! He thought himself invincible till he had a date with gravity!🎵
I want ubisoft to make Ezio trilogy with unreal engine 5 not a remastered one but a full remake , and i know for sure that it will sell like peanuts, they can add full map where we can travel from his uncle's house to the main cities and so on it would be so good
Why is Haytham on the list?! His death wasn’t satisfying… more like sad. Sure, he is a Templar. But everything that he was saying to Connor was just heartbreaking, and the fact that he allowed his OWN SON to kill him was just even more sad. 😢😢
Charles Lee and Haytham’s deaths were absolutely God awful.
