    Killing Haytham was saddening to me he may’ve been a Templar but he actually had the colonies best interest at heart as proven by AC 3 & Rouge, and he did open up and show remorse and care towards Connor and I’d even go as far as to say Haytham let Connor kill him bcos he didn’t want to kill his son

    • @RaRmAn
      @RaRmAn 2 года назад +22

      You are right, he let Connor kill him, he knew there was no coming back he just couldn't see the world the way Connor did which is something he wished he could, he kind of envied Connor his beliefs but his inability to share them was what made him realize that only one of them can live and he cared about Connor too much to choose his own survival over Connor's. Before he started choking him he let go of his hand knowing about his hidden blade that pretty much speaks for itself.

She was the one that took the protagonist's sibling (depending on who you choose) from their home and turned them into the villain that they are today, and even worse, attempts to burn a baby right in front of the protagonist. All while insulting, laughing, and showing absolutely no signs of remorse or regret for her actions. Not to mention... Her voice is sooooo irritating. Luckily, even if you choose to save the baby, you do get the chance to kill her dnyway, and give her the most painful throat slit ever.

    Cesare’s death satisfying because of the buildup to the kill, Ezio’s line “then I leave you in the hands of fate.” Getting to put a end his rampage as well as finally shutting him up. The Ezio trilogy was definitely the peak of the series. AC3 had a almost completely forgeable storyline for Conor and killed off Desmond with no plan on how drive the series going forward. The combat and story were the only things going for black flag but that gets overshadowed by infuriating stealth and tailing sections that are entirely too frequent given the pirate background. From there it’s almost completely downhill after that

    Considering the narrative, the only real satisfying AC kills are off those of the people with no remorse and only self serving interest.
    And boy, though i only played up untill AC liberations so far, there are actually very few characters fitting that description.
    They either were under pressure from the ones that where standing above them, believed they did good and had actually decent constructive dialogue to explain their point of view, they were brainwashed by the apple or just overall power or a combination of those.

    Charles Lee and Haytham’s deaths were absolutely God awful. The entirety of 3 was an absolute odyssey of a journey, between the MASSIVE onscreen battles, the giant scope of the world and the story itself is like a giant war epic, building up to this unreal showdown, and all we got was a half-baked fight with Haytham and a chase with Charles Lee. Both fights should have been proper 1 v 1, and they should have been hard as nails. I felt absolutely zero accomplishment after them. At least Revelations admitted from the get-go that it was about Ezio’s final journey instead of a conflict. We got a full battle in Brotherhood, 2 and 1. Every final battle after that was so cheap. Even Black Flag, which was all about PIRATES, had one of the worst final battles as well. Then Shay’s chase with Liam at the end of Rogue was just lazy at that stage, I wasn’t even surprised by that one. Unity gave us a solid fight with Bellec.

      If it was the most dissatisfying assassinations I would pick AC Rogue at the top, killing and hunting assassins was the most dissatisfying thing in my entire life, made me puke at times! It’s like those templars controlled me in real life to take the controller and obey so I could move on with the plot! because I didn’t get a choice..

    Theres also the fact that for some reason in ac1 at the end you can kill civilians with nothing stopping you and I absued this by killing everyone.

  • @medafan53

    I wouldn't say random guards are satisfying, and civilians, but guards in sections where you've died a few times certainly are.

    The Death of Haytham wasn't that Satisfying because Haytham was such a beloved character by many players such as myself, And people really loved playing as him. Like if you agree

  • @medafan53
    @medafan53 2 года назад

    I don't know about satisfying but Haytham's death felt kinda... like he was being an idiot. The man fights with a hidden blade, just like Conner, he should've known to pin Conner's arms, or stab him himself, instead he slowly choked Conner to death, leaving his arms free to stab him with his hidden blade. It feels like either Haytham wanted to die, or he was being an idiot.

    I'm more like a witcher about the whole thing they kill monsters assassin's kill templars I felt nothing tbh with regards to haytham but then again I don't like traitors either

    • @TfJedisuper
      @TfJedisuper 2 года назад

      Haythem wasn't a traitor, he was never inducted into the assassins because his dad (Edward) was killed when Haythem was like 10. Haytham was then raised by the Templar Grand Master in England who raised him as a Templar, with Haythem only learning his true heritage much later in life.
