Here's another 'sound-byte' from the short history of the piano accordion. I grew up with the standard stradella accordion. And although I love playing on free-bass, I'll never totally abandon my beloved stradella accordion. I like to straddle the border of the serious with the lighter side of accordion culture. So here's more from the great Pietro Deiro's CD series "The Accordion Artistry of Pietro Deiro- Father of the Accordion." One can easily hear his joyful & light-hearted spirit emanating from him in this little known ragtime piece.
