Great video mate. We've got some after market accessories in R&D stage.
    - Bash plate
    - Rear luggage rack
    - Tail tidy
    - Side/Soft luggage panels (similar to our T7)
    - Radiator guard

Apparently, it also has an adjustable link so that you can raise or lower the height of the seat. And I’m not referring to suspension adjustments. One of my biggest dislikes about that machine, aside from where it’s made, is that you have to remove the gas tank to change the spark plug.

    • @OzADVRider
      @OzADVRider  Месяц назад +2

Raising the seat height would make it much more comfortable for me.
I own a V-Strom and you have to take the tank off for spark plugs and air filter, bit of a pain but pretty normal for ADV bikes

My local dealer had 27 or so pre orders of the 450MT. They had 7 on the floor waiting to be picked up, on Friday when I was there picking up my new bike.
There were 5 Himalayan 450 sitting there sold as well.
Looks like the big 4 missed out on this booming segment.

I believe our local dealer had 20 pre- orders.
The new Himalayan looks good too.
The big 4's ADV bikes just keep getting bigger and more expensive.
An affordable lightweight ADV bike is perfect for many people.
      Enjoy your new bike!

My experience with Chinese motorcycles, CF moto, and Lifan is the weak link is the electrical system. Mechanically they are generally good, they would definitely benefit by using Nipon Denso for example, since 80% of breakdowns are electrically related.

    • @OzADVRider

@@OzADVRider So true, the bike I used to travel the world, a Yamaha XT 500, had a one wire dedicated ignition circuit and separate lighting circuit, battery was optional. Not much use for today's tech gadgets, but they hadn't been invented back then, and to be honest, don't think they're really needed today.

@@ivorscruton5121Used to ride a DT350 yam many moons ago and it was completely bullet proof - its simplicity was its strength and ultimately charm. Think I’ll end up with a new Tenere as a result, which has massive character and can do everything with relative ease. Not forgetting that glorious motor either.

@@OzADVRider Precisely. Does anyone use the term Jap Crap anymore, or in the last 40 years? I wouldn't have anything but a Japanese made car. CFMOto is doing very well with the farm side by side vehicles and have a look at their road bike range. Today nothing innovative is coming from Japan, just like the late 60s/early 70s where nothing innovative was coming from UK/Europe and Japan took over. Lookout, here comes China.
