That's the plan! More videos to come and I just took it for a short off-road trip on the weekend and it was greater than my skill level which will allow me to grow and gain skills offroad.
New bike days are the best days. Good to see you collected the bike from Toowoomba Bikes and Bits. Awesome crew there and they'll look after you. I've bought 3 x Shercos off Ian and Jamie and I will back for another one this year 👌
That's good to hear. I didn't get a Suzuki as the sellers mechanics (another dealer) are the worst, so I took a bit of a gamble with bnb, but so far they seem exactly as you say.
Great, I’m waiting for mine in France. Use to ride a BMW 1250 but looking for a lighter bike. As I’m not a “pilot”, just a simple rider, 450cc will be enough for all my off road journey. Good road to you and as we do here when two riders cross together : ✌️
@@peterziegler8204 Hi Peter, although I live near Paris, I bought this motorcycle in the south of France, more precisely in Fréjus. I will store this bike in my parents' house. In France, we think we are smarter than the others, but the French importer is very late on deliveries of this machine! while it is already available in Italy, Greece or Portugal. The dealer will only receive 4 motorcycles for the year 2024! and they are already sold while no one has seen the motorcycles in real life yet ! A real best seller ? (well need to sell more than 4 bikes to become a best seller I guess :) ) V to all
Congrats mate, I’ve had my eye on this bike also. I’m keen to see the rest of your videos explaining all the bits and pieces you like / would keep / would change etc. I agree about the stock pipe sound
Great review. I am sure you will have so many fun adventures on your new 450MT. Test rode one last week, enjoyed it a lot. If I didn't already have a T7 and a tricked up DRZ400E would definitely add it to the fleet.
@@outie555 yeah we’re fine. Need to replace one bit of fairing sometime and I’ve changed out the bar end weight and clutch and gear levers, no other damage. I landed on my left knee and hand, I’ve got upgraded knee armor and I didn’t feel a thing. Glove just disintegrated so I’ve got some minor road rash but I’ve changed to a different brand of glove for future coz I was doing under 20 kph but imagine if I was doing 100!
All of us who have put down payment oin this bike just cant get enough of the reviews! Thanks for vid! I do have a question for all owners and soon to be owners. Are we all going to leave stickers on gas tank like KTM 390s or take them off like Tenere Taureg owners do? I am leaning to take off. But really interested in what everyone else has to say and whys if you dont mind Happy riding for all!
I want to take the stickers off the middle that tell me what fuel to use. Worried that if I leave them on and take them off in a few years the black would have faded but not under the sticker.
Looks great! Yes shame the crashbars and bashplate only come later, I think the bash plates are coming out really really soon, tall windscreen too, but crash bars I think July, and some other stuff August and even as far as September. Bash plate and crash bars are essential for us to start offroad. You mention a company that sells metal for the handguards, is that BarkBusters or some other company? Just having a bit of alu or metal in there would be great and if it's like 50 dollars I'd buy it. We're picking up ours this week :)
I have the CL-c 450 and I noticed my fuel got much better after I hit 600ks, it has its first service at 1500 and apparently when they get the decent fully synthetic oil in them they get better again. Sounds like factory uses a run in oil but not much info about it.
Not a firm date more of they are coming at different times over the next two months. The 450mt cfmoto site has an updated estimated schedule for the accessories.
@@outie555 I agree with the second part of your reply. The first however, the 390 is quicker, lighter, has better suspension and lean sensitive abs. Mine is getting over 80mpg unless I thrash it. I'm moving down in bike weight, after 42 years of riding. Got rid of my Tenere 700 because at my age it is too heavy for me to pick up if I dropped it offroad. The CFMoto does seem to be the best of the rest of course, and as I said, if I was looking to replace my KTM 390 it would be my first choice.
It does 120km easily. Probably will be about 6.5krpm so still more power to go faster or uphill at that speed. The only thing I will say is that I get a lot of buffetting at that speed from the windshield. I've got the taller windshield coming. The short screen buffetting hits me on the top of the visor (6 foot 1). Engine still smooth at that speed too.
All the 80'S and 90'S bikes had storige under the seat so you could leave you're lock and chain spray under it . So yes you have to expect storage under the seat . Utterly stupid they dont think about these things anymore
Yeah still enjoying it. Riding it does get better once you get used to the bike and the height. I'm a lot more confident on it now after 3000km of riding. No regrets
@@outie555 Great to hear, I’m probably just a week away from ordering mine… the choice of colours been a tough one, I like the blue and white from a visibility/safety point of view but the grey is also very appealing and certainly popular on new cars as well.
Grats on the new wheels Outie! But can I ask, what the fuck was the speedo showing 0kph for in your change from 1st to 2nd at 4:05? Did you notice that???
Love hearing reviews from actual people who just wanna ride a cool bike. Cheers
I love hearing comments from people who love watching my videos
Great ride and can see you’re going to enjoy it immensely - these smaller capacity bikes are the future.👍

Yeah it's really good. I've got some extra farkles, like crash bars coming in a few weeks.

You're all good, no troubles with your English. ✌️
Hey Patrice, what dealer did you order your 450 MT? Greetings from the Geneva region! 🙂

Bikes and bits are awesome to deal with. Have been dealing with them for a long time. Ordered a 450mt aswell. Will arrive end of november
Awesome. I really like my 450MT and have been really impressed with it!
my god lad!! that off-road rip was SCAARRRYyYY :)! loved your energy throughout the review, thank you!
Thanks a ton!

Very nice mate I hope to pick up mine either tomorrow or Tuesday
Enjoy it
Congratulations on your new bike. Waiting for mine it will arrive in August 😊
Good choice! Not too long until it comes
Lovely bike mate, congrats! It'll be well capable off-road, much more than mine!
Thanks! 👍 And the bike is much more capable than I will ever be
Nice video man. Very comprehensive overview. Loved it and good luck with your new bike!
Glad you enjoyed it! It's a fun bike so plenty of content to come
Exciting! I just put new tyres on my Suzuki last week and promptly binned the bike so I was a bit nervous watching you riding with 0 km on it 😂

I read it in a forum but can't remember where about the hand guard inserts.
Nice bike. I really don't undestand people that buy a bike without sitting and/or test riding it tough.
The preorder deal saves 500 bucks and was refundable if I don't want to take it
not really lightweight but a great bike on the surface, it is going to make a lot of people very happy - enjoy 🙂
Fair enough! I can lift the back end of it up when it's parked in my garage and on the side stand so it's good enough weight wise for the price
yeah do a fuel consumption test after like 10,000km (fully run in)
😂😂 1000km is fully run in
I'm guessing it will be 4.3-4.5L per 100km

On my other bike it has built in storage on the tank, which is super convenient for junk, wallet and other stuff.
I thought the same! That's EXACTLY where you expect to find storage on a motorbike!
