      Yep, and it's so good a manufacturer has just done it. Like the cb500x could have been great with spoked wheels and slightly lighter but they didn't make it that way. And the new cb500x, the NX500, missed the exact same things the previous one missed. The larger front wheel was a step in the right direction and alloy wheels have gotten better but for a cheap Chinese bike to just make a twin that has the things missing from the 500x and it sells a thousand of them in Australia this year alone (so far). It's so good

    Nice vid. My friend and I are waiting for our 450s in Poland. We want a lighter, smaller displacement ADV bike. In Europe and actually most places, you ride on roads. We always take the side roads, look for dirt as much as we can, still end up with 20% of dirt. This bike fits that mission perfectly. It seems that too many people take and evaluate this bike off road exclusively. At 195 kg, the bike is on heavy side for that mission. For me, my tuned up, 155kg Rally 300 is perfect bike .The new Himalayan 451 is out for me, single cylinder and it's confused and ugly. I have two Royals and like them a lot. Like u said, the features of the MT are phenomenal, maybe lower crash bars and go. I don't know how they can sell them at this low price. You might want to consider trimming down the high beam switch lever, make little more room for your hands. Thx for real world update.

      Depends on what's important to you really and how much you plan on riding. For me if I ride the 450mt the same as my ctx700 then it would need 2 oil changes a year. Not that big of a deal really. Tyre wise can limit the types of tyre options but there will still be a tyre that suits your riding style.

    This is probably the closest thing to my dream motorcycle. Had it had 575 cc with increasing the stroke from 55mm to 70mm. So if you had an engine that has good low and medium torque and that would make it better in everything through lower rpm you drive with and more torque. But this is very good so I am very impressed with this bike for the weight and the price and hp is enough to. But as I said 550-575cc on bike lie this is my dream and like about 50hp is enough for me.

      It's no Goldwing so the passenger will be slightly uncomfortable for long rides. The grab rails are great for the passenger and the seat is wide enough. 185cm. You'll be ok, my long legs are fine. Plus there is a high seat option, I have that on back order.

    Thats 56 mpg you're getting. That's not great as I got up to 105 mpg out of my 350 Meteor with the old Himalayan being about the same around the 80+ mpg. Perhaps it will improve once it's run in-hopefully.

      Maybe you and I are the only ones realising that this bike is bloody thirsty for its size/weight. Even our big fat VStrom 800DE delivers better economy. We're due to collect our 450MT tomorrow, but I'm seriously thinking of letting it slide ... 😮😮

    They probably didn't put the wheel tool in the kit because they have tubeless wheels and to save coin.

    • @outie555
      @outie555  Месяц назад

      Still need to to adjust the chain, it's got the other tools and even the flat tube that connects two wheel wrenches for leverage, just not the wrenches.
