He should of issued a warrant for their arrest for criminal damage to private property and took them to small claims court
Criminal damage to property. The driver should have been arrested. Call the police on his @$$.
And this is why postal rates are going up. It is time to do away with the postal monopoly and open it up to competition.
I wonder how that mail carrier would feel if someone did that to his grass, over and over again?
I suspect it was not malicious. Big truck with not much turn-around room. The big thing is, DONT DO IT. Who wants their lawn are f*****d up. Even if the monetary cost is minimal, Find a better way to make your turn-around.
That’s bull crap... glad you’re getting it rectified. $300 for a few bags of topsoil and a few yards of sod seems excessive. Hope you got it though. Pays for the aggravation.
You call the Postal Inspectors and provide a copy of the video! This is a criminal offense, well violation or low misdemeanor, regardless there was clearly intent to damage that mans property.
It's not his yard. It's the easement and it belongs to the public. Your yard doesn't go all the way to the street
THAT IS RIGHT OF WAY, .......IT DOES NOT BELONG TO THE HOMEOWNER.
POSTAL CARRIER CAN DRIVE ON IT.
IF YOU BLOCK HIS ACCESS TO THE RIGHT OF WAY, POSTAL CARRIER CAN SEND YOUR MAIL BACK.
Dear crazy person stuck on CAPS...clearly the area he is destroying has nothing to do with delivering the mail. It's nowhere near the 📬 of the homeowner or the next mailbox.
That dude doesn't own that part of his yard. It's an easement. We don't own the sidewalk either. Our property stops on the house side of the sidewalk. You're required to maintain it, and the city will sue you for not maintaining it, but you don't own it. Crazy as it seems
Ooooo... what a personal affront!
I don't think that is part of his property though. Its the county's. Sure he maintains it but isnt it his property until the sidewalk?
so disrespectful i'm so glad he got paid lmao only 100$ after putting him through the ringer what a joke
All they have to do is show up , when they work for the post office they can't be fired otherwise, I don't know a person who hasn't had problems with the carriers❗
