Is is it possible to mask off areas that you don't want remeshed so you can prevent, say, the back of the head from getting more detail and make remesh act more like dyntopo in that regard?
@@furkannarin2844 I mentioned I knew about dyntopo. The vid is about the remesh feature. I was asking about that. They're different workflows. I'm guessing we don't know.
I'm Having a bit of the problem with this feature. Everytime I use the tool, the mesh looks shredded like I put it through a cheese grater. I don't know how to prevent this problem.
Mine too. I see In the key map settings R is set for rotate so with the sculpting both sides mode on it splits it in half and rotates each side like its being torn apart lol I can't figure out how to change those settings. We probably just got a weird version 🤷♂️
In this example, would you not want to set up separate objects. For example, have the mouth, ears and maybe nose be separated objects. This way each can be remeshed separately? - I am so new to this, I know nothing :) Just trying to make sense of it
The one thing in my view that would make Blender seem more like Zbrush is the ability to add primitives in the sculpt mode. Can we get that or is there something I'm missing?
With the remesh you can freeze parts of the sculpt. Then remesh and those parts should not jump up in poly count. At least that is what a hard-core sculpting person told me.
I have model one object that i want to retopo head hands foot to different values i need to turn it to multiple object then retopo and then conect them back together ??? What should I do
@@RyanKingArt yes, I have done that but I can only avoid the webbing at stupid high resolutions. I was hoping there was another way that I was missing.
I found that if the object generally has stretched faces, after remesh its faces are still stratched. How can i make them more equal sided? It happens when i make like limbs out of cilinder or stretched uv sphere.
It is Shift+R in version 3.4 to show up the remesh grid.❤
thank you ^^
its not working why? "shift + R no!, "R' no! why? even I tried another way manually. not working. is there something need to be updated?

thats what dyntopo is for

What do you do in the end though? I ask because the topology is horrible beginning to end. Is this just the start and you retopo it all?
Thank you bro, your videos are too good.
Glad you like them!
Thank you for this. You are a source of inspiration for all of us.

No, I think you have to go into edit mode or object mode to add new objects for your base mesh.
Great viedeo! How can I remesh a specific part of an object? Is possible? with select or mask? Thanks
I think you can only remesh the entire object at once
very interesting ill definitely start experimenting with this to improve my craft.
hope it helps!

Question on remeshing. How do i remesh hands without the fingers turning into flippers?
hmm.. maybe turn up the resolution?

hello sir can you help me if i have 3d model but have 6 texture with color and i wana make the full model in 1texture file how i can do it ?
The R tool seems to work as explained....but I can't see the mesh...just the border and numbers.
thanks a lot!

Sir please make video on create environment full video please sir😢
thanks for the tutorial request. have you watched my realistic rocky mountains tutorial?
@@RyanKingArt yes sir but I want full video like beach nature with river house etc like that
brother each time i remesh , the fingers are bonding and destroying why is that
When I press the "R" key it only rotates my object?
I think the shortcut key is different in older versions of Blender. Try using Control + R, or Shift + R.
Thx@@RyanKingArt
Hi! I stuck here, my blender 3.6, "R"" key doesnt work nor CTRL+R nor SHIFT+R. @@RyanKingArt

thank u budy
my remesh is turning my faces black (low poly count) not sure what happned but the rest of my objects had no issues

when remesh is on then my model going to distorted
I have an Indian friend named Remesh. Does that count?
Oh lol : )
This method ruins fingers and crashes your computer by the end. I don’t recommend it.
Thanks
