Tbh. The last chapter of the story was stupid but fun
it was so much fun! but I think it shouldve been saved for another mk game, it felt too jam packed in my opinion, but im glad you liked it!
Mk1 is probably the best mortal Kombat regarding gameplay right next to mkx,but the lack of interesting things to do aside playing online is what kills this game, sure the gameplay is fun, but mortal Kombat never was just about fighting 1 on 1, each entry brought something new and unique to the previous one, unfortunately what this game brings is boring repetitive invasions mode and a serious lack of content, not to mention the whole overpriced in game purchases.
I felt like if we seen more 3d era styled characters like man lizard reptile or mk deception baraka then the whole “multiverse” thing would be cool instead of them just having a billion timelines
that would make it at least somewhat better youre right!

I was done with Mortal Kombat 1 after three weeks.
Something you didn't mention at 7:30 is that any customization you do on your account will not be reflected by player 2 and player 2 MUST unlock that stuff on your console/PC, this was also a negative in MK11 and I hate the fact that it is still a thing.
it wasnt an issue on mk11 on pc to me as my mate could just load the profile with the skin and we were golden but in mk1 NOPE
default skin for player 2 even though the bots use your skin

@@Sharky_0456 Never played MK11 on PC, only PS4/PS5 and Switch which both have this same issue.
ALSO: the CPU don't just use your skin, they use ANY skin. Which, another thing: Why the hell can't I choose my skin per every match instead of this roundabout menu system?

I liked the direction they went with Shang shung from the last timeline being the main guy but they should have left it at that,Shang and Liu kang should have been the only ones to have been timekeepers not the whole multiverse of mk. If they left it at shangs timeline vs Liu kangs timeline it would have been perfect
Honestly, it would feel much more epic.
If we had only two timelines, it would add some weight to liu kang as the hero and shan tzung as the villain
The timeline stuff seems cool in my opinion what is the true problem is connection errors the blocking is slower then Johnny bravo trying to flex his muscles micro transactions takes years for patch updates and the fact that some moves won't actually connect or hit due to a player advantage
Imo Armageddon still has the best MK intro. Especially when mileena gets sucker punched into a new timeline lmao
I honestly like MK1 but Mortal Kombat 11 is my favorite MK game of all time! 11/10
Reason why MK11>MK1:
1. Mini jump
2. Breakaway and I also cancel opponent breakaway
3. WE can custom 3 gear
4. Krushing blow. It makes more damage like I main Kabal or Noob Saibot/Bi-Han
Is lame that MK1 (rate: 8.5/10) has 1 gear and that’s it like *“WHAT!?”* man I miss 4 features from MK11.
Krushing blow was a stupid gimmick. Same with breaking since you’re able to punish someone easily.

Maybe because mk11 was aimed for less skilled casuals. Mkx was their best work

Actually less skilled casuals are 99% of the population and the reason why MK sells so much : bc it looks cool and easy. So if they want to reach a wider audience and sell more (which is what they seem to be willing to do seeing the payable fatalities), they should dig more into mk11-like mechanics.

I agree with most points but I while I think that invasions isn’t all that great I’m glad they got rid of the krypt, I don’t play fighting games to walk around opening chests and solving puzzles, the krypt was hella boring. Also no Crossplay at launch for a title this big is unacceptable

After the hype died I realized how bare bones the game actually was. I enjoyed the game but it pretty clear how rushed the game was. I blame Warner Bros for the prices am glad more people are pointing out these things having no crosplay for a Fighting game in 2023 is just unacceptable. I've had fun but was it worth $70 not currently in my opinion. I appreciate these kind of videos because we love mk we just want it to be at the same level with modern fighting games on all aspects

It's a great game , the long wait was really worth but on the story mode at the end it's something confused by joining Warriors from diferents timelines, hoping it to be solved in next uptdate and Liu kang timelime to be the ultimate

I guess the whole Shang sung twist and multiverse is kinda a mess but tbh I saw this coming wayyy ahead. I noticed how there was 2 endings to mk11 and then when I saw the official reveal trailer I instantly knew it was that Shang tsung. I know a lot of people were upset with the ending but I think it was perfect. They literally put all 30 years of mortal kombat into the story and the ending with Armageddon was absolutely amazing. Me and my dad have been waiting for a story to beat mk9 and in both our opinions thie tops it

Street fighter 6 was cheaper and has given me more for my money, the story was absolute trash once I realized outworld is basically mks version of wakonda, stages are ok but where’s the interactibles and stage fatalities. Customization is terrible when you can’t choose your a loadout on the screen select. The one thing they did do ok was fixed the stiff animations. Mk11 should of been propped up until this game was ready since it was actually injustice 3 to begin with. No reason mk11 couldn’t have been propped up when tekken 7 and street fighter 5 were around for damn near a decade.

Too many features lacking, too many glitches, overall too many steps back from MK11.

Don't feel a shame of your opinion bro I agreed with everything, and I know it's hard to admit as much we love Mortal Kombat as a whole this one feels a bit empty like it's missing so much things drastically compared to 11 & X. And it takes a long time to level up with both characters and cameos which whenever I battle opponents win or loss the stats don't go up fast enough regardless of good performance you done which they need to fix that issue, and for people who pre-ordered the Deluxe version shouldn't have to come out of pocket again, that's too much money spending on one thing in the Game's store for it.🥴
Honestly. This mk game is prolly the best because of combos. You can do so many cool combos easily
Cool combos aren't supposed to be easily executed.
It loses its wow factor once everyone can easily do it. It's no longer impressive.

I think people are jumping super far to call this game dead, we're gonna be getting a lot of content soon but everybody expect everything to just be ready on release and that isn't how it works anymore. Games take a while to make and produce and also take a while to keep fresh and new feeling. They just need time to actually get the ball rolling y'all.
Yeah, it hasn't even been 2 full months out, we still are to get Kombat Pack 1 and 2, and I feel when Kombat Pack 2 is released (Probably along with this game's version of Aftermath) they'll be releasing more stuff like they did with 11 (Friendships, Mercy, etc.).
Maybe it won't be the same stuff, but it will be added content.

Let's be honest. The game has its flaws, sure, but it also has many advantages. It's certainly not so bad that we could talk abt the fall of the game.
The two most likely explanations for this are: 1. He's overreacting.
2. He's making a 'clickbait' title just for views. Neither of these is a good motivation to create something. Making content that hasn't got an actual value is not necessarily a good thing.

invasions 5/10 falls short compared to konquest in deception and how far games have come today.
customization-1/10. weak sauce.
store prices-0/10. they are gouging for skins and fatalities. 10 bucks for 1 fatality is bs. ive been a die hard mk fan since i could hold a controler and just the cash grab for the skins and fatalities may turn me away from it for ever. mk 4 turned me to tekken 2 and when tekken 4 came i went to mk deadly alliance. i might go back to tekken after this game is all played out. ive spent soo much money on mk games memorabilia and the likes i even have a mortal kombat tattoo. ive given them enough of my money if they think they can charge 10$ for a fatality. if they drop a dlc pack that has all future fatalities in it for a reasonable price ill buy it and be happy but right now, i think im done giving money to nrs....... rant complete. thanks for the open forum.
