14L N14, ddec 3 & ddec 4, 3406 & C15 all sound the almost the same something about those good ol motors they were all renowned for longevity especially in Australia
Hello Good Day, I have a 2007 EPA 60 series 14L with EGR/DPF&VGT. I am having a difficult time finding a shop that can delete all three items. Can i have some info on where you got your truck worked on & also are you running straight pipe from the turbo or do you a resonator on.
Hello Jessie, do you mind telling me the part number for the manifold to match with the 171702 turbo. I was told that the stock manifold would not work with the VGT Delete on the DDEC VI. Thank you very much.
Romain Green 2ND PAGE call full tilt performance and talk to them they will get you the manifold you need! Basicly a 12.7 manifold is what you need but I recommend fulltilts stock replacement it handles more heat
How’s the Power? I am Looking at a DDEC 4 14.0L NON-EGR and I do Heavy Haul, 120-130,000 Gross Weight? I would Change the Exhaust Manifold, Upgrade Turbos & Exhaust if I Purchase It. I just wasn’t t sure if this 14.0L is as Decent as a Cat 3406E/C-15 when it comes to Power.
Taylor Alldredge power is amazing I run 105500 gross pulls great a lot of my friends run cats I stick right with them no problem and I got 300,000 on my rebuild and it’s still strong! The 14.l is a different breed of engine then the 12.7 capable of a lot more I wouldn’t be afraid of it
Taylor Alldredge yes I did I went full tilt with cat fire ring exhaust gaskets detriot ones are junk and I went with a 3406 e turbo flange gasket they seal better! Bully dog sells full tilt ones so no advantage there
Hey man, how much boost does/did it build? I just had same thing done to my rruck now im afraid i might roast my rings in hills. Looking for input on how to drive this beast now. Lol. Classic xl.
ohioguy. I buld 40-45 boost and my power band is 1400-1800 now and I ran it hard for first few weeks between 1600-1800 to make sure the rings seated well and they did and you could sure tell when they seated was like a jolt of extra power I here you can run the pyro hot on these but I back out of it at 1100 I don’t wana take a chance and I pull 105500

ohioguy. Yes you need a pyro I ushly have to blackout of it to keep it from going over 1100 I ushly run it about 950-1050 you can hit 1200 if you just let it go
Fearless One I’m geting a mile better aslong as I keep my foot out of it went from 4.8 to 5.2 to 5.5 to 6.1 depending on what I’m doin I pull 105500 in the pasific northwest we have a lot of rolling hills
@@pwcummins4 nice, when u purchased ur full tilt manifold did u buy the non egr manifold, did ur turbo also come with the gaskets, and lastly does ur new turbo have a wastegate? Thanks
Fearless One yes non egr manifold but don’t use the Detroit gaskets I had to many problems with them get the cat firering gaskets from fulltilt directly they will hook you up with what you need and my turbo is nonwastgated!

Hows your engine brake? I heard if you swap out the turbo from an egr detroit the engine brake suffers stopping power.
MandoKing2328 I lost about 25-30% and I have to go a gear lower on hills but the power increase is well worth it
@@pwcummins4 is there any way to reduce the lost of stopping power and still get the increase in overall power?

Yea it’s a 171702 bw turbo same one I went with ! I get 45 lbs I’d boost and I’m runing 600 hp and 2050 torque ands it’s unreal
