All my best pieces I found hidden in a jumble of other things. Look at everything! A good thrift trip should take at least an hour. There’s a feeling you get when you spy something you love, don’t buy it unless you get that feeling or if you know you can diy it into something you’ll love!
Manon Lancelot I found stuff in the men’s section that I liked because lots of other thrifters had mentioned about looking there.but the jackets were XXL XL or L and I’m kind of small so they didn’t fit.
It makes me sad because in Britain we don’t really have any thrift stores we just have charity shops and they only really have old toys and books and objects not many clothes 😫😭😭😭😭😭
Laura C people just throw them out , you can find some clothes but it’s very rare . it’s mostly kids clothes and clothes that aren’t really that cute , it’s really sad people just don’t care as much about throwing nice clothes away
some places in the uk aren't bad tho. i volunteer at a charity shop (well not right now obviously due to lockdown) and plenty of really cute clothes get donated, sometimes they're even brand new with labels!
